You know how there's a joke about the fact you can make any fortune cookie fortune sound dirty just by adding "beneath the sheets" or "in bed" to it?  I think the same holds true for the descriptions in super hero names.  

A lot of superheroes have an adjective as part of their official name.  He's not just the Hulk.  He's the Incredible Hulk.  They're not just the X-Men.  They're the Uncanny X-Men.  He's not just Spiderman.  He's the Amazing Spiderman.  For that matter, they're not just the Four.  They're the Fantastic Four.

So now I'm applying my fortune cookie innuendo to the names and we get such classics as the Incredible (in bed) Hulk.  The Uncanny (beneath the sheets) X-Men.  The Amazing (in bed) Spiderman.  The Fantastic (beneath the sheets) Four.

I don't know.  It's probably a bit of a stretch, but never let it be said I won't go the extra mile for a questionably funny joke.
