I've got a busy day and it seems another window of actual internet connection so I'll try to squeeze in a short entry here.  At first it just seemed like it was my main computer that was having issues, so after talking to a guy at a computer shop yesterday I bought a new wi-fi stick.  This initially appeared to have solved the problem as my computer instantly reconnected and was up for a while.  But then it went back down.  And what's more my phone and Kim's laptop seemed to be having issues connecting.  So now I'm wondering if I actually need a new router or something?  All I know is this unreliable, intermittent internet connection is really annoying and frustrating.

More updates on the kitty cat front:  We've got both of them inside now and they seem to be getting along okay with our dogs.  They're even sleeping in the bed with us.  Our dog George is a little too interested at times, especially in the little one, who we've decided to start calling Ezri after a character in Deep Space Nine.  We're sticking with Brownie for the other one.  Holly, the cat we already had, seems to be steering clear a little bit, but hopefully she'll adjust and start coming around more.  It's a lot of new cat to take on at once, but it's pretty cool.  I bought them collars yesterday and we've made an appointment at the vet for them for next week.

So that's been nice.  Going back to work after vacation has sucked.  One thing I hate about going is they send people to cover me while I'm gone and this one dude in particular who I guess is nominally my manager or something loves to find a bunch of annoying extra stuff for me to do, so I've been hit with this big to-do list, which I'm not stoked about.  But whatever.  I'll get on it I guess.

Oh yeah, one other thing.  I took that exam last night that I was supposed to take a couple weeks ago.  I didn't feel like I did very good, but I got my results back and I didn't do too bad.  You can't really "fail" the exam, but you get assigned continuing education credits, depending on how well you did.  The worse you did, the more you get.  There's a maximum of 36 credits you can be assigned and I only have to do 9, so I'm pretty happy about that.  Yay me!
