Well, today is my birthday.  It really feels like it was just my birthday last year.  Like, there's no way that happened a year ago already.  But I guess the facts would suggest otherwise.  Years sure as heck aren't what they used to be.  I remember when I was young each one seemed like a hard earned badge of honor and when I got to around fifteen or sixteen, I thought hey I'm really starting to get old now.  Ha! 

Years aren't exactly hard earned anymore.  It's more like you blink your eyes and a whole bunch more of them piled up.  And it's supposed to go even faster from here on out?  How fast can time go?  Seriously!  

Well, I'm not quite ready for the nursing home, I guess.  I'm hoping to just have myself a nice laidback day today.  Should be doable.  It's nice when birthdays fall on the weekend.  That's for sure.
