I've been having a little bit of pain on the bottom of my right foot lately.  It's not excruciating, but it is annoying.  I certainly hope it's nothing serious.  I kind of don't think it is, but it's been persistent for a few weeks now.  I can't really afford to have foot surgery as that would take me out of commission to work for quite a while, not to mention the cost of the surgery itself is likely to be outrageous even with insurance.  

I'm actually starting to wonder if it's being caused by the flip-flops I've been wearing.  They're old and pretty worn out and I need to replace them.  I don't think they're offering much in the way of support anymore.  Getting new ones is probably the first step to try and see if that helps.  If it gets a lot worse, I'll bite the bullet and see a doctor or something, but I don't think I'm at that stage yet.  I guess I'll just monitor it for now.
