I had a pretty cool dream last night in which I was watching a cartoon movie of my first book Tourist Trap.  In typical dream fashion it actually seemed to have almost nothing to do with Tourist Trap, even though I had identified it as such.  Nonetheless it was really entertaining to watch it, even though it didn't make any sense and I had no idea what the heck was going on.  

I suppose some mean critic could say that last part about the actual book and it would be a pretty biting criticism.  I don't think that's true, but it would kind of sting a little I think if someone were to say it.  Man, you gotta have a tough skin to create art because it's guaranteed somebody out there is going to hate on it no matter what you do.  You could pretty much paint the Last Supper and someone out there will have some scathing remark to make about it.  That's all part of the fun, I guess.
