Well, I finished writing my story for the Open Novella Contest yesterday, so that gets one of the big projects off my plate.  I enjoyed writing it, but it got fairly intense with the April 30th deadline looming.  I poured a lot of work into it over the past couple weeks and got it done with a few days to spare.  Once again I think I've realized that deadlines are actually kind of good for me.  Left to my own devices, I have a bit of a tendency to procrastinate.  If I could attack the Infinity Box with the same vigor I poured into the ONC story, I'm sure I could get it finished up within a few weeks.  Maybe I should try to dive into it while I'm still kind of in intensive writing mode.  It wouldn't be a terrible idea, and I'd definitely feel a sense of accomplishment if I could get that finished off.  I'll definitely have to give that some thought.  I should also probably try to read some other people's ONC stories.  It just kind of seems like the right thing to do and I bet there are some good ones.  

I also contacted some strangers on Wattpad today to see if they would be interested in contributing something to my chicken anthology.  It wasn't just random strangers.  I actually discovered there's a chart that ranks stories that have a chickens tag and my anthology currently ranks #6.  It would be awesome to get it to the top slot, but also I realized that people on that chart were people who had written chicken stories and thus might possibly be interested in my silly anthology.  I wrote to a few that looked semi-promising.  It shall remain to be seen if I get any results from that.
