Well yesterday ended up being a worse work day than I anticipated.  I mean, I knew it was going to be bad, but it was even worse that what I had my expectations set at.  And I get to go back and have another long day with the same doctor tomorrow on a Saturday.  Awesome.

I purposely haven't talked about my job too much on here, because honestly I view this as a bit of an escape.  So even though it's somewhat tempting to go on a mega-rant, I prefer not to dwell on it more than necessary.  Just for my own reference though, due to idiocy, miscommunication and bad scheduling I had to switch sides like five times for three cases!  It would take longer than I care to devote to it to explain what all that means here, but let's just say that is an immensely unnecessary pain in the tuchus.  And then after the last one, which was an utter disaster of a situation from the word go (morbidly obese and contracted patient) there was an enormous aftermath of a mess that I had to spend like an hour cleaning up.  Just a bad day across the board.  Lots of wasted time and stupidity.  All right, that's for reals all the more I want to dwell on it.  Like I said, I have to do it again tomorrow.  Hopefully it'll be a lot smoother, but I'm not counting on it.
