Yesterday was Groundhog's Day, but I was so hung up on it being 2/2/22, that I overlooked that fact and missed out on musing about it.  Unless it's like the movie Groundhog's Day and we're caught in a time loop and the same day is repeating over and over again in which case it's still Groundhog's Day and I didn't miss my chance to talk about it!

Now that we've established that, the only observation I really want to make is who the hell came up with Groundhog's Day?  What a weird tradition.  We're going to base our weather forecasts on the notion that a rodent may or may not see his shadow?  People are really weird.
