We had some Impossible Burgers the other night.  You know, they're supposedly indistinguishable from real burgers, but they're made out of plants?  I've had them a few times now and I gotta say, they're actually pretty good.  I was skeptical the first time I tried one.  I've tried garden burgers and fake meats in the past and something was always off about them to me.  But it seems they've finally cracked the code as far as getting the texture right and the juiciness and all of that stuff.  I'm a fan of burgers and I wouldn't eat one if I thought it was gross.  In fact I hear some long-time vegetarians think Impossible Burgers are gross because they're too close to meat.  That's pretty impressive.

I hear they've got Impossible Chicken now, but I haven't tried that yet.  I'm curious to see if it's any good, but I don't want to order a whole bucket of it from KFC or something and discover I don't like it.  I need to try a sample of it sometime.

I wonder if they'll ever make Impossible Human.  If they did you could try out cannibalism without actually being a cannibal.  I suspect that idea probably won't fly.  I wouldn't try it, but maybe you could stop some crazy serial killer type from killing and eating people.  Probably not, since their issues are probably a lot deeper than they just like the way humans taste.  But maybe it would be a good thing to have on hand in case aliens ever conquer us and enjoy eating us.  We could offer them Impossible Human instead.  It could save a lot of lives.  Just saying.
