"Jin-ah... baby... please think about it... I think Jungkook and Jimin are suited for each other... I know Jungkook would never hurt your brother... Jungkook might appear cold but he is a sweetheart.. he just has trouble expressing himself..." Namjoon says trying to convince Jin, his husband to let their younger brothers marry each other

"I know that Namjoonah... I know how Jungkook is... I know his heart.. and I do agree with you that they would make a good couple... I just..." Jin sighs, tears glistening in his eyes "....I'm afraid that Jungkook might not reciprocate in time and end up hurting my Jiminah... Jimin doesn't show it but he has been deeply hurt by A/N that narcissistic beach... I just don't want things to repeat again... my Jiminah won't survive another heartbreak..."

"I love Jimin just as much as you do... you know that right?" Namjoon pulls Jin into his arms as the man nods "I will talk to Jungkook and if he says no to this then of course we won't proceed but if he says yes, then that means he really cares about Jimin... you know how Jungkook is with proposals... always rejecting them..." Namjoon pulls away to look at his husband "...I'm thinking about both of them... I would never make a decision that would harm any of our families... your dad talked to me about this... asking me about Jungkook... and I think it's a good decision... Jungkook needs someone like Jimin to show him what love is all about.. I know Jimin had a terrible experience from his first marriage but that only made him stronger.. he hasn't lost his faith in love ..." Namjoon wipes Jin's tears "...and I know Jungkook would never hurt Jimin... you yourself have seen how protective and angry Jungkook became after he knew what Jimin went through..."

"Okay... you talk to Jungkook then... Jimin has already let dad know that he is okay with a second marriage..."

Namjoon is Jungkook's elder brother who married Jimin's elder brother Jin. They were college sweethearts. Jungkook and Jimin had met during the time the families met for the wedding preparations. Jungkook was always quiet and he never talked to anyone, though, he was always around Jimin to help him with anything the boy needed. Jungkook had feelings for the boy but never said it out loud. Whatever feelings he had was suppressed when he learnt that Jimin's dad had arranged for the boy's marriage already. Jungkook had moved to Seoul just before Jimin's wedding, giving an excuse of getting a new job that he couldn't get out of. Jungkook didn't visit Busan as often but less than 6 months of Jimin's marriage, he came to know about the emotional abuse faced by the boy and Jungkook came down to his brother's house to help the family support Jimin in his divorce decision.

Jimin had kept everything to himself for 6 months of his marriage. A/N his spouse was very emotional manipulative and hurt him mentally. A/N was a narcissist and enjoyed Jimin's teary eyes every day. Jimin hadn't planned to let anyone know about this but after 6 months of torture and seeing Jin at a family gathering, he couldn't hold it in anymore and cried to Jin about what was happening back home.

The divorce proceedings were quick. Jimin didn't want anything from A/N nor did A/N.

Now Jimin's dad's health was deteriorating and stupid society were constantly pitying him about his divorced son, and his anxiety grew. He wanted to make Jimin settled somehow with someone who would take care of the boy and love him. Jimin couldn't stand to see tears in his dad's eyes because of him and he agrees to marry anyone his dad thought would be good for him

"Jungkook I want to talk to you... can you please sit down?" Namjoon, Jungkook's elder brother asks

Jungkook is confused and slightly concerned at the request

"What happened? Is everything okay?"

Namjoon nods his head before sighing "...it's about your marriage..."

Jungkook rolls his eyes "Again? You know that I am not...."

Namjoon interrupts him "I know you are not interested in marriage but..."

This time Jungkook stops him "Then why bother?"

"I was hoping maybe this time you might not say no..."

Jungkook raises an eyebrow "And why is that?"

"Jimin...." Namjoon says making Jungkook look at the man "....I was thinking he would be perfect for you..."

Jungkook is quiet for a moment making Namjoon sigh internally before standing up and turning to walk away

"Okay..." Jungkook says making Namjoon stop and look at the man "...as long as Jimin is okay with this too"

Jimin is surprised to know that his family wanted him to marry Jungkook. He is even more surprised to know that Jungkook agreed to marry him. He assumed Jungkook was forced into it and so he talks to the man

"....if you are forced in any way... then I'm sorry... please don't marry me for the sake of our families....."

Jungkook chuckles slightly "...I would never do that... if that was the case, I would have been married ages ago..." the man says making Jimin's heart beat fast "...I'm marrying you... that's my choice and decision... it doesn't matter to me if you were married before... it only matters that we both stay loyal to each other... I know I will... will you?"

Jimin gulps before nodding his head

"Good. See you tomorrow for the cake tasting then..."

Their married life went okay. They slept in the same room, ate breakfast and dinner together whenever possible. Jungkook would cut the veggies and fruits while Jimin cooked and vice versa. They understood their roles in the relationship and did the same, giving respect to one another. But Jungkook's attitude never changed, he was still cold and quiet, a bit hard to talk to since all he said was hmm, yes, no. But he was a good listener, he was attentive to anything Jimin had to say.

It's been nearly 6 months to their marriage and Jimin was feeling anxious. It was during his 6th month that he decided to divorce A/N. Now, he felt that he might be ruining Jungkook's life - because maybe the man didn't really want to marry him and he was holding Jungkook back for a better future with a different partner. It hurt Jimin to think this way but he couldn't help it - he wanted a marriage filled with happiness and a secured future but with the way things were going, it didn't seem like he would have it. Jimin had tried to understand Jungkook's nature and he did understand to an extent but seeing the same routine and no changes to their relationship is making the boy fear for their future. He knew he had already fallen for the man and he didn't want to fall deeper if there was no hope for the future. He needed to talk to Jungkook and that evening, he did just that

"I'm sorry I'm selfish but I want a real relationship where we can talk about anything and be ourselves..." Jungkook stared at the boy "...I have always wanted a cute little family... I'm not saying I want to start a family now but right now I feel like we are roommates..." Jimin feels sad talking about things like this "....don't you want that too?" Jungkook doesn't reply making Jimin sigh "....but if it's not something that you want .... then please let's just end this..." Jungkook could feel his breath stop at that "....because this is only going to hurt us... I will be expecting more... because I want more..." Jimin sadly smiles "....I really like you Kook-ah... and I hope to love you more in the future... and if you don't want that... then..."

Jimin's eyes fill up with tears and he turns to walk away not wanting Jungkook to see him break down. But before he could walk away, Jungkook holds his wrist making his heart stop beating. Jungkook has never touched him before like this.

"I'm sorry but I can't hold myself back anymore..." Jungkook says turning the boy around and before Jimin can make sense of what was happening, he finds himself in a liplock with his husband. His breath hitches

Jungkook pulls back from the kiss "...please don't give up on me... on us..."

Jungkook kisses him again and this time Jimin kisses him back. They only pull back when Jungkook senses that Jimin was running out of breath

Jungkook wipes Jimin's tears before resting his forehead against the boy's "I love you Jimin... I'm never going to leave you... this time I will make you love me back..."

Jungkook looks into Jimin's eyes "I love you so much. I just didn't want to rush anything... I was afraid to open up my feelings and overwhelm you... I wanted to give you time to accept this marriage... I didn't know by not opening up, I caused more harm... I'm not a romantic and never was interested to do anything with anyone before ... but you..." Jungkook cups Jimin's face tenderly as he caressed the boy's cheek with his thumb "...you make me want to do everything with you... I am a man who values personal space, I hate it when even my loving brother enters my room and sleeps on my bed... I hate sleeping with anyone next to me... but you... you are the only exception to it all... it's more like I need you with me all the time... and I was afraid that would make you uncomfortable... and so I tried to distance myself..." Jungkook sighs as he reaches down to hold Jimin's hands in his own "...trust me... knowing that you want the same things as me... nothing is going to stop me from showing you how much you mean to me... I love you Jimin" Jungkook kisses the boy's hand gently making Jimin's eyes water. His whole body tingled in excitement "...you will let me love you right? I promise I won't stop at anything to make you love me too..." Jungkook says kissing the boy's forehead.

Jimin nods his head "And you don't have to try that hard... I know I have already fallen for you Kook ah..."

Jungkook let's down happy tears before pulling the boy into his arms "Thank you... I love you so much"

Jimin smiles resting his head on Jungkook's chest, the man's fast heartbeat making him calm "I love you too"
