Jungkook and Jimin are in an arranged marriage. Their families had found each other on a matrimonial site and they both agreed to the marriage after meeting a couple of times. They might not be in love but they definitely liked each other and accepted the other as life partners.

Jungkook's family loved Jimin a lot, same went for Jimin's family for Jungkook except Jimin's grandmother didn't find Jungkook that appealing - probably because Jimin was her favorite and precious grandson who deserved all the love and happiness in the world and Jungkook seemed to be a bit reserved when it came to feelings. Grandma Park only agreed because she could see Jimin liked the taller man.

Their married life went perfectly normal. Though it was awkward at first to adjust to each other, they eventually fell into a comfortable lifestyle where they couldn't bear to be away from each other for too long. It was like they were in the honeymoon phase of newly dating - the butterflies, shyness and care was indescribable

Jungkook was still a bit cold, slightly reserved but that didn't stop him from cuddling his husband at night or showing the tiny boy how much he meant to him. Jimin on the other hand was always expressing himself through physical touch (not sexual) and never shied away from telling the man directly how much he appreciated Jungkook being his husband

Yup, in the course of their 1 year of marriage, they both fell madly in love with the other

"Kookie..." Jimin whines seeing his husband pouting on the couch with his hands crossed across his chest "...I'm sorry but grandma asked for me... she is a bit sick and misses me... I couldn't say no..."

"But your parents are there taking care of her...... how will I sleep without my baby..." Jungkook whispers the last part

"Huh?" Jimin didn't catch it

"Nothing! Just go!" Jungkook stands up. He had just come back home to find Jimin packing a small bag of clothes.

"Kookie... I can't go if you are mad... how will I sleep in peace if my cuddly bunny is mad at me..."

Jungkook smiles slightly at the endearing words. He didn't want Jimin to be upset. He sighs - he knows grandma Park isn't that sick but also understands that she is probably missing her grandson. Jungkook doesn't know how he will survive a week without Jimin though

"I will miss you Kookie... I will call you every day..."

The first night Jungkook didn't sleep. He just couldn't. He kept tossing and turning till Jimin finally got the chance to message him that he was going to sleep. Jungkook immediately calls the boy and Jimin was a bit surprised that Jungkook hadn't slept yet

"You have work tomorrow ... why didn't you sleep?" Jimin pouts as he facetimes Jungkook

"How can I without hearing your voice... I was waiting for you"

Jimin's eyes widened "Kookie... I didn't know that... I called you as soon as I reached here and I thought you would rest after that... I didn't know you would be waiting... if I knew I wouldn't have delayed this long..."

Jungkook smiles - oh how much he missed his tiny human

"It's alright... I know you would be busy with your family..."

They talk for a couple of minutes before Jungkook sighs

"I really wish you were here..."

"Me too..."

Two more days later and Jungkook couldn't take it. Jimin wasn't answering his calls. Jimin was tired that day and had messaged him that he would be retiring to bed earlier that evening.

So, Jungkook sneaks into Jimin's room.

Soon,

Jimin flinches when he feels someone hovering behind him in bed. He nearly screamed but stops when he recognizes the hand that covered his mouth

"Shhh sweetheart... I'm sorry but I just missed you so much..."

Jimin was shocked but he didn't care. He missed Jungkook too. Jimin immediately hugs the man and the two sigh contently as they hugged the other

Jungkook hadn't been away from Jimin in the one year of their marriage. Just those 2 days were enough to drive him crazy, he really missed the boy. They both hugged each other in silence, except for their breathing and their loud heartbeats they could feel and Jungkook knew he wanted... no, needed the boy in his arms.

Jungkook slightly pulled away to look at the boy. Jimin also looked at the man and smiled. Jungkook slowly leaned in to kiss the boy's forehead - the act made Jimin shut his eyes. Jungkook slowly moved his lips over Jimin's closed eyelids and then over the boy's cheek, close to Jimin's lips. Jimin's breath hitches- it's not like they haven't kissed before but it didn't feel so intimate before like it did right now - like it would lead to something else

Jungkook pulls away "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable... I just went crazy missing you .." Jungkook caresses Jimin's face "...are you still tired... I'm sorry I forgot to ask that..."

Jimin smiles "My tiredness left seeing you... I guess my tiredness is me missing you..."

Jungkook's heart picks up pace

He leans in slowly again and smiles seeing Jimin tilt his head up to receive Jungkook's kiss

Just as Jungkook nearly captured Jimin's lips, grandma Park knocks on the door, making Jimin and Jungkook's eyes widen

"Jimin ah.. are you up?..."

Jimin gulped. He didn't know what to say

Jungkook jumps under the bed just as soon as grandma Park opens the door

"Son... you are up...slept well?..." she walks into the room and sits on the bed. Jimin nods "...come have dinner with us..."

Jimin gulps

"Y-Yes grandma I will come...I just need to freshen up..."

"Okay..." she smiles and gets up

Jimin sighs when she leaves and immediately helps Jungkook from under the bed

"Are you okay?!"

"Y-Yea..."

Jimin giggles as Jungkook skids out from under the bed

"What's so funny huh?"

"My mind is just replaying what happened earlier....the way you just flew under the bed... it's so funny..." Jimin giggles

Jungkook suddenly pulls the tiny boy towards him and looks at him intently. Jimin gulps

"My misery is funny to you?"

Jimin shakes his head no

"You laughed though.." Jungkook holds Jimin securely close to him, tightening his hold over that tiny waist "...don't you think you need to be punished?" Jungkook's hot breath near his lips made Jimin's toe curl up

"Jimin ah..." grandma Park's entrance again made Jimin and Jungkook freeze "Yah! What are you doing here!"

Jimin's parents also rush in, due to the commotion

"Oh Jungkook! When did you come?"

They were awkwardly eating dinner together, the family invited Jungkook to eat dinner with them

Jimin's mom couldn't stop teasing Jungkook about missing Jimin

"Your dad was the same...he couldn't go one day without me... I remember how he used to follow me ..." Mrs Park said making Jimin giggle and Jungkook blush in embarrassment

"What do you mean I used to? I still do..." Mr Park says before facing Jungkook "...men are like that to the one they love... right son?"

Jungkook groans internally but respectfully nods

"Stop teasing him!" Jimin giggles

Grandma Park has enough of everyone talking to Jungkook. All she wanted was some time with her grandson but now Jungkook just had to ruin that

"So Jungkook..." Grandma Park says making everyone look at her "...you know it's not something to be proud of... to go behind your husband.... my son was behind his wife after she got pregnant and went to her home for the post delivery period...." everyone sat quietly "...I hope you are not unhealthy... after all it's been a year and you haven't yet fathered a child..."

Jimin's eyes widened at that. How could his grandma just insult his husband?

Jungkook was just about to say something when Jimin speaks

"Grandma... Jungkook and I... we both are healthy and fine... it's just we haven't started trying for a family because I wanted to give all my time and love to this wonderful man who keeps your grandson very ...very happy... everyday..." Jimin's parents smile at that, Jungkook looks at the boy with a grin "...but if you want grandkids then I don't mind trying... I mean I can try right now..." Jimin stands up, already having finished dinner "...Kookie... let's go" Jimin says already leaving the table and Jungkook bows to the elders and leave

"Jimin really loves him huh..." grandma Park comments

"And Jungkook loves him more,mom... don't worry too much..." Mr Park says making the grandma sigh

"Yea... I know... I can see it in his eyes... I just want him to express himself more..."

"He will... in due time..."

Meanwhile,

Jungkook shuts the door behind him, following Jimin into the boy's room

"Kookie... I'm sorry my grandma went on you like that..." Jimin says hugging the man

Jungkook hugs the boy back "...it's okay I understand her..." Jungkook gulps "...did you mean what you said downstairs...about us starting a family?"

Jimin pulls away "...I...no..." Jungkook's smile drops "...I mean..... unless you want it too..."

Jungkook chuckles as he pulls Jimin into his arms "Of course I want a cute family with you someday... and I know I am ready to be a father to our kids... are you?"

Jimin smiles at the man softly caressing his cheek "...me too... I love you so much Jungkook"

"I love you too Jiminah..." Jimin's eyes flutter close feeling Jungkook's lips kiss his forehead

Pulling back they stared at the other, they knew that night was going to be the start of something new - new emotions, new hope to a wonderful future ahead
