Jeon Jihoon is Jungkook's nephew. The boy's parents had passed away and now Jungkook was his legal guardian. Jungkook has always been a cold hearted man, having connections with the mafia world, but Jihoon has never seen that side of the man. The little boy adored his uncle.

Taehyung was in charge of the household affairs, Jungkook's second hand man's boyfriend. Jungkook trusted him and so when Jimin was appointed to be Jihoon's tutor, Jungkook didn't have an objection. Besides Jungkook was a very busy man, even more busier because he couldn't totally deal with the lose of his brother and his brother's wife. Jungkook has never really met Jimin, but now things were going to change soon, for the worst

Jihoon adored Jimin. The boy would often talk about his day with his uncle and most of the time it was about Jimin. Jungkook enjoyed the little boy's talk after a hard stressful day, he was happy that Jihoon wasn't depressed anymore like in the initial days following his parent's passing. And Jimin had a huge role to play in that. Jungkook was thankful for that

Jimin's family situation wasn't great. His parents hated him for being childish and a teacher by profession, they wanted him to be a doctor. They forcefully introduced him to Y/N to get married. Y/N was loving and kind and after all these years of emotional abuse from his family, he thought he found the one who understood him and loved him. He had hopes for a happy life. He fell for Y/N. They were set to marry a couple of months later.

Everything was going well with Jimin till A/N started liking the boy. A/N was another teacher at the school Jimin taught at. A/N had asked the boy out but Jimin refused stating he was engaged. A/N was enraged but kept to himself, plotting various ways to make Jimin cancel the engagement.

The man became obsessed with Jimin to the point of stalking him. He saw how Jihoon had one day proposed to Jimin and saw how Jimin had gladly accepted to marry the boy. It was all in good humor but A/N went crazy. He couldn't accept that Jimin rejected him and would accept a little boy's proposal. He couldn't reason that Jimin was just joking with the boy.

That afternoon, Jimin decides to walk Jihoon home and that's when the man corners them and demands Jimin to marry him. Jihoon starts crying in fear when A/N glares at him for proposing to Jimin and the tiny boy hugs Jimin's knees. Jimin tries his best to calm the boy as well as A/N.

"Please understand... he was only joking... I'm not marrying a child..."

The area was generally not that busy but the 1 or 2 people who see the argument doesn't do anything as it really looked like a couple fighting

"If I can't have you... I won't let him have you either" A/N grits his teeth and pushes Jihoon onto incoming traffic.

Jimin on reflex shields the boy but still the boy's head hits against the pavement with force, Jimin's shoulder getting badly injured

A/N sends Jimin's video in a pendrive to Y/N's house - the edited video consisted of how Jimin accepted Jihoon's proposal, kissed the boy's cheek and in a weird way - it made Jimin seem like a pedophile. Y/N was heart broken. She, though, still feels that Jimin might be innocent, doesn't inform anyone of the video. And silently breaks the engagement. She had a niece who often stayed over and she got scared. Y/N just wanted to be safe

Later on,

Jungkook looks into how Jihoon got into the accident and understands that Jimin brought the boy to the hospital. Jungkook looks into it and through his superficial connections he gets to know about Jimin being portrayed as a pedophile and is angry. He wanted revenge. His Jihoon might never wake up. He would lose his only family. And all because of Jimin.

Jungkook approaches Jimin's family and forcefully marries him, blackmailing the family that he would release the video to the public. Jimin's family makes him marry the man since they were disappointed in their son

Jungkook wanted to marry Jimin to torture him everyday and make his life miserable

Soon after marriage,

"Look at him! Because of you he is like this!" Jungkook holds Jimin by the hair as he drags the boy to his nephew's room

"J-Jihoon..." Jimin's eyes widen and he rushes to the boy but Jungkook stops him

"H-How... he was okay... right?"

Jimin had no idea that Jihoon's condition was bad. When Jihoon was first brought to the hospital, the doctors had informed Jimin that he would be okay. Jimin had fainted right after and was taking in for surgery. Jihoon couldn't handle that Jimin was getting operated and he coded on the table in fear and then never woke up.

Jimin's vulnerable voice brings Jungkook back to reality. Jimin didn't look like a pedophile nor anything that Jimin did right now- like cry in pain for his nephew seem like that boy was a bad guy

Was he wrong in judging Jimin?

Still, he couldn't be so sure so he monitored Jimin's every moment, he had guards watching Jimin whenever the boy visited his nephew. Jimin's first met with Jihoon and Jihoon had shown some movements according to the doctor who was in charge of his nephew and that's why Jungkook allowed Jimin to be near Jihoon

Jungkook heart aches as he realizes that he is slowly falling for the boy

How can you be so kind... so innocent Jimin.... please don't make me fall for you... because I know that if I am to confess, you will leave me forever... I'm going to lose you

Jimin was so patient with him, so understanding of him even when he was rude to the boy.

Jimin wasn't naive but he knew that he had to prove his own innocence. The moment he knew that Jungkook doubted him because of the video, he knew A/N was behind it. But for now, he just wanted to make Jihoon better again, if he was to tell Jungkook about the other man, maybe Jungkook would get busy again and won't be home for Jihoon - because right now all Jungkook cared for was Jihoon's recovery and thinking that Jimin was responsible, the man didn't waste his time plotting revenge when Jimin was right there . And besides Jimin wasn't sure if it was really A/N. He didn't know Jungkook had mafia connections, Jimin was afraid that A/N might retaliate and cause more harm to Jihoon or anyone else for that matter

Jungkook had found out about the video the day Jihoon was hospitalized. Since he believed Jimin was the culprit he didn't look into anyone else. But the day he married Jimin and brought the boy to Jihoon, he knew in his heart that Jimin couldn't be so cruel, he tried to find out things through his mafia connections but he couldn't find a name.

Jungkook stops Jimin when the boy tries to leave the room when the man walks in

"Jimin..." he says making Jimin stop "...are you hiding something from me?"

Jimin turns to look at the man

"I don't think you are what you seem in that video... I think someone is trying to frame you... and I think you know who it could be...."

Jimin's breath hitches when Jungkook towers over him "...who are you trying to protect? Who are you afraid of? I promise I will protect you and Jihoon with all I have ... just please tell me who it is...."

"How can you trust me? What if I did do it?"

Jungkook smiles slightly at the boy. He reaches out to hold Jimin's hands against his chest "....my heart knows... that the one I love can't be an untrustworthy person..."

Jimin gulps at the sincerity radiating off the man "...love?"

"I fell for my husband... what can I do? Jeon Jimin is really something" Jungkook chuckles "...I dont know if you love me back... or even like me... but I don't care... because you have your whole life to fall for me... I will make sure of that..."

Jimin's heart picks up pace

"Now tell me... who did all this?"

Jimin tells Jungkook the whole truth. A/N is captured, tortured and then imprisoned and Jimin's truth is told to both Y/N and Jimin's family

"You didn't need to tell Y/N or my family.... my family... they don't really care..." Jimin says as he sits with Jungkook on the couch, resting his head on the man's shoulders.

Jihoon is all better now. His subconscious mind responded to Jimin's voice and he had come out of his coma.

"I don't want anyone to misunderstand you for something you are not...you are too precious for that...." Jungkook says making Jimin smile

"Jungkook..." Jimin says after a while of silence

Jungkook hums

"I love you too..." Jungkook's heart nearly stopped for a second "....it's been a while... I guess even though you tried to me rude to me or harm me ... there was always something that made me believe that you would never hurt me.... I guess I trusted you too..."

Jimin lifts his head up to face the man who didn't respond

"Jungkook?"

"Huh?"

"Did you hear anything I just said?"

"Uh... I mean yea..."

"Aren't you happy?" Jimin pouts

Jungkook smiles softly at that, hugs the boy a second later "...I am happy... you have no idea how much... it is just taking me some time to process..."

Jimin smiled as he rested his head on Jungkook's chest, he could hear the man's heart beating so fast and then he pulls away suddenly feeling something wet on his back

"J-Jungkook?" Jimin wipes away Jungkook's tears "...why?"

"I know... I don't deserve you... but I'm so happy... so very happy to have you in my life...." Jungkook sniffles "...I lost everyone I loved in my life and when Jihoon was in that coma... I lost it.... I just wanted to kill the person who hurt my Jihoon.... I can't help but imagine what if I did hurt you badly.... I would never be able to experience this beautiful feeling .... it's just too overwhelming for me..."

Jimin hugs the man tightly and Jungkook hugs the boy back

"I love you ... please don't cry anymore... all the bad days are gone now... let's move forward to our beautiful future okay?" Jimin pulls away from the hug to cup the man's face "...I love you.... please remember that"

"I love you too..." Jungkook kisses the boy's forehead
