Park Jimin is a brilliant student. He was the ideal student that all teachers loved and rightfully held the title of the teacher's pet.

Jungkook is a psychology professor at Busan University. He is a very strict professor but he taught his subject with passion. Psychology is a very intriguing, confusing and fascinating subject and that combined with a professor who taught it with a hint of mystery, leaving the students eagerly waiting for the next day's class, made Jimin fall for both the subject and the man who taught it. Jimin has always been interested to learn about how the mind works.

Jungkook was indeed handsome and had a lot of admirers both for his looks, young age and teaching skills but he didn't encourage anyone to approach him other than for academic related matters and Jimin was one of the few he entertained as it was evident the rest of the students just approached him for their own sick pleasure (delulu world)

There had been a couple of instances where Jimin and Jungkook would catch up at the library and discuss things or even at the university Cafe shop, when they ran into each other or caught the other intensely reading a book they have already read or wanted to read

Noone thought much of their relationship because Jimin had always been close to other professors too. It did surprise some though, that even Jungkook was whipped for the tiny boy but no one could say that their relationship and interactions were anything more than a student teacher one. Jimin didn't receive any special treatment in class or with his marks.

Jimin and Jungkook were discussing one of Jimin's dreams one day at the library and they were thinking about a logical explanation

"It could either mean you love this person or gonna kill them..." Jungkook states making Jimin's eyes grow wide "...I would go with the former..."

"Really?" Jimin says leaning backwards on his chair and due to his clumsy nature, he slips

Jungkook, seeing the whole thing take place, leans in to grab the boy. Jimin unfortunately trips on his feet and falls onto Jungkook's lap

The two blink, unmoving. Jimin's lips were on Jungkook's

Jimin was the first to come out of the daze, he stands up straight, bows to the man apologizing for his mistake

Before Jungkook could react, the boy runs away crying in shame and embarrassment

Jimin has always liked the man - Jungkook was too attractive and smart to not gawk at. But that was all Jimin wanted- for him, Jungkook was like a forbidden fruit and it felt wrong to have kissed the professor.

The next day Jimin comes to college but not even once did he look at Jungkook as the man taught. Jungkook felt bad but he knew the boy must be feeling bad for what happened. He tried to talk to Jimin about it but the boy never gave him a chance

And then the next two days Jimin didn't show up for class.

Jungkook frowned, it hurt that the boy wasn't showing up for class and ignoring him

Is it because of the kiss? I should let him know that it's okay. That I know it was an accident. Maybe he thinks I am judging him now.

Jungkook knows Jimin's address. He had dropped the boy once on his way home. Jungkook decides to end the misunderstanding if any, besides he misses the boy terribly

Jungkook goes to Jimin's home. The door was opened by Jimin's mom who had met Jungkook that day.

"Please come in... Jimin is in bed...he has a bit of a fever due to worrying about things... if you really want to see him, you can go up... I don't mind..I consider you as my son..." she smiles "...and could you please remind him to take his medicine, it's almost time...and please make him eat first...his food is also there..."

She knows about Jimin's crush on the man and she knew Jungkook liked her son back

Jungkook enters Jimin's room after he hears a come in when he knocks

Jimin looked really sad and gloomy. It made Jungkook's heart ache

Jimin's eyes widen when Jungkook sits next to him and feels his forehead

"You have a fever?" Jungkook pouts "...your mom said it's because you have been thinking too much... is it school? ... or because of me?"

Jimin bites his lips and looks away

Jungkook sighs before he grabs the bowl of soup from the side table and makes Jimin eat it and then he gives Jimin the tablet also

Jimin couldn't hold back anymore. He didn't want to enjoy this care. He knew he didn't deserve it

"Do you do this for all your students?" Jimin asks taking a sip of the water Jungkook handed him

"No..." Jungkook tugs Jimin's hair behind his ears "...only you..."

"Why?" Jimin tilts his head at the man

"...because I love you and I don't want you to be just my student... I want to date you"

Jimin's eyes widened at that. He looks away

"You are my teacher... this is wrong"

Jungkook smiles slightly "... then can I court you after you stop being my student. It's your last year isn't it?"

Jimin looks at the man in surprise

" ..Or should I send a proposal to your parents asking for your hand in marriage?"

"W-What?"

Jungkook reaches out to hold Jimin's hands in his

"I am 29, going to be 30 soon, Jiminah... I have had my share of heartbreaks and hookups... I know what I want .... I believe in what I feel towards you... haven't you felt my love for you...ever?"

Jimin blushes - he remembers all the times Jungkook had taken extra time inspite of his busy schedule to help him with a concept or anything for that matter

"...I have... but I willed myself to think it's because I am your student..."

Jungkook chuckles "...Have you seen me be free with any other student?"

"No...but..."

"But nothing Jimin... you are it for me ... I love you... and have been patiently waiting for you to graduate to finally ask you out without any pressure of me being your professor...but two days ago we kissed and I can't stop thinking about this... I wanna know if you love me back....it's okay if you don't...it's not going to change anything between us.. we will still be professor and student.... But I need to know...I am going crazy, Park Jimin.... you make me go crazy for you..."

Jimin smiles at that. Jungkook really looked so in love with him while he confessed "...I love you too...I want you to be mine..."

Jungkook cups the boy's face, pecking his forehead before resting their foreheads together

"I am yours...I love you so much Jimin"

"I love you too"
