"Ah! Why does he hate me so much?!" Jimin says frustrated at the way his boss Jungkook always seemed to call him into the man's office for even the tiniest of matters, which in turn led him to stay overtime to complete his own work at times.

"I think he likes you..." Taehyung, Jimin's best friend and colleague says making Jimin frown

"Yea right! He keeps giving me a ton of work to do and then calls me clumsy and incompetent for not doing my work on time ... likes me huh, my ass!"

"I bet he does like your ass" Taehyung giggles "...okay I agree to all that you said... he is cold to everyone... he seems a bit extra cold to you... but you can't deny that he ends up doing half your work...."

"That's only because he forces me to eat food and won't let me work past my work time and he ends up doing the work while I eat..." Jimin pouts

"And you don't see the love in that? Maybe he is an introvert and finds it hard to express himself..."

Jimin rolls his eyes "If he likes me then I wish he would just let me be... I dont like not being able to do my job the way it is supposed to be done..."

Taehyung sighs "...I get it... but what can you do? He is your boss, you need this job.... at least be thankful he isn't harassing you like your old boss"

Jimin shudders "Yea I guess I can put up with his demands over that"

"You still haven't emailed me the final report?" Jungkook asks walking over to Jimin's table

They were the only two left in the office

"I'm sorry sir... I just got b.." Jimin stands up

"Did you eat yet?" Jungkook sits next to Jimin's chair. Jimin sits down

"I will after..."

"Show me the file you are working on. Hurry and eat"

"I have food at home sir... I don't want to order..." Jimin's words are cut off by Jungkook placing an aluminum foil covered sandwich on his desk

"This is home made... I made an extra by mistake... eat it"

"Sir, please let me do my job... I promise I will eat at home..."

"Do you really think you can work on an empty stomach. The whole day you didn't eat anything even though I told you to have lunch with Taehyung. I'm faster than you and I need this now!" Jungkook scolds the boy "Now eat it!"

Jimin pouts as he eats

Jungkook chuckles internally

The two discuss ideas for the upcoming project by which time Jungkook is done with the report and Jimin with the food

Jimin yawns

"Come on... I will drop you home"

"I have my car..."

"You will really drive while being tired? What if you get in an accident?" Jungkook cuts him off

"Sir I won't..."

"I don't wanna pay for your hospital bills... now come on!" Jungkook walks out and Jimin follows, his head held low

Jungkook smiles watching the boy drift off in his sleep

The man parks his car outside Jimin's residence - this wasn't the first time he has dropped the boy home.

Jungkook takes this time to admire the boy's flawless features before gently waking the boy up

"I will pick you up in the morning so don't bother calling a cab tomorrow..."

"Sir.."

"Be ready by 7AM sharp" and with that Jungkook drove away.

It was the weekend and Jimin had gone to his parent's house. Unfortunately, his parents had to go stay over at his grandparent's home and Jimin was left alone with their family dog, Bam.

Jimin takes the dog to the vet as Bam wasn't feeling well that night and the vet informs Jimin that Bam needed to be hospitalized and explained to him the seriousness of the matter.

Jimin was upset. He loved Bam like his own child. He had him since Bam was a day old puppy. He couldn't call his parents since they were already taking care of his sick grandmother. The only person he could think to call was Taehyung but Taehyung was in Daegu that weekend. Jimin has always been a very sensitive boy and he ended up crying outside the veterinary hospital as Bam laid inside.

He needed Taehyung. He knew it. Even if its on the phone, he needed comfort. And so he dials the first number on his recent calls, not realizing that Jungkook had been the last to call him that day.

"Jimin?"

Due to his stress and cries, Jimin failed to recognize the voice

"Taehyung ah...." Jimin cries into the phone "...B-Bam... B-Bam..."

"Jimin! Are you okay?!" Jungkook's voice was laced with concern

"No! No I'm not okay! I don't know what is happening...." Jimin couldn't stop crying "....Bam is sick! The vet said if by tonight he didn't show signs of improvement ... then ... then...." Jimin wails grew louder

"Where are you right now?!"

"Tae.... I'm so scared..." Jimin's anxious voice breaks the man's heart

"I'm coming okay... just hold on... tell me where you are ..."

"Tae..." Jimin sobs "... you are in Daegu..."

"Just tell me!"

"BangTan Vets"

"Don't move from there. I will be there in an hour"

"Jimin!"

Jimin turns around at the sound of his name. He is surprised to find Jungkook rushing towards him

Jimin stands up. His red eyes and nose clearly visible

"Mr Jeon... what..."

Jimin's words are cut off by Jungkook tightly hugging him. Jimin gasps as he nearly falls backward by the force of Jungkook's hug

"I'm here. It's all going to be okay. Bam is going to be okay...." Jungkook softly whispers making Jimin tear up again. He needed this. He didn't want to think of the how and why his boss was there instead of Taehyung

"I'm s-scared..." Jimin tightens his hold around Jungkook

Jungkook calms him down "...shush... its all going to be okay..."

Once Jimin calms down, Jungkook goes in to enquire about Bam's situation

"Bam had a mild infection and they are taking care of it. He will be all fine by tomorrow..."

"Really?" Jimin's eyes sparkle

"Really" Jungkook nods making Jimin smile wide

"Come... I bet you didn't eat anything yet..." Jungkook says pulling Jimin to stand with him

"Mr Jeon..." Jungkook turns back to face the boy "...why are you here?"

Jungkook drives Jimin to his home. Bam had to stay overnight at the hospital and there was no place for bystanders to stay there.

"Mr Jeon..."

"Hmm..."

Jungkook is now preparing food for the boy.

"Did Taehyung call you?"

"No... you did..."

Jimin's eyes widen as he checks his phone to see that it was in fact true.

"I'm so sorry for disturbing you like that..." Jimin says embarrassed "...why didn't you tell me..."

Jungkook places the food in front of Jimin

"How could I when you kept crying as if you were going to die? How do you expect my heart to calm down knowing you are all alone and scared?"

Jimin eyes widen as he stares at the man

"W-What?"

Jungkook slides into the seat next to Jimin's and holds the boy's hands delicately into his own

"I love you..." Jimin stares at the man in shock "...I have from a very long time now... it started after you had welcomed my nephew into your cubicle and played with him. At the time you didn't know he was a Jeon. Your child like innocence caught my attention. Ever since that day I paid attention to you and every little thing I got to know about you made me fall for you deeper and harder... it got to the point where I needed to see you every second of my life..." Jungkook sighs "...I'm sorry if I kept bothering you while you worked but I couldn't help it..." Jungkook caresses Jimin's hand with his thumb "....I love you so much... but I don't wanna overwhelm you... I wanna date you and I want you to fall for me the way I did.... can I ask you out in a date?" Jimin is silent

"I'm not forcing you... neither is anything going to happen if you reject me... I just didn't want to regret the feeling of not being able to take care of you ... just like today...." Jimin stares at the man "....if you were mine, you wouldn't be alone for this long... you wouldn't have to had gone through the pain and fear of not understanding the situation.... I would have been there with you since the very second ... you would have had me to lean on... I could comfort you the way I wanted without the barrier of a boss and employee ... it breaks my heart to think of all these hours you were alone with Bam and contemplating the worst..."

"You really love me that much?" Jimin cuts him off

"I do..."

Jimin smiles as he hugs the man with tears in his eyes

"Noone has ever loved me like this.... I don't deserve this..."

Jungkook pulls back from the hug "...yes you do... you deserve all the love in this world... the question is would you allow me to love you... do you think I deserve your love?"

"Sir..."

"Jungkook..." Jungkook cuts him off "...I have confessed already and it feels weird to be called so formal... it doesn't matter if you don't love me yet... just please think about giving me a chance.."

"J-Jungkook... I love you too..."

Jungkook's eyes widened "You do?"

"I do... I have liked you since the first time you conducted the interview... I liked you more when you showed my parents around the office space when they came to visit me... it made me feel special and proud... and then you started calling me for everything and I thought yea maybe you did like me and then I thought what if I was misunderstanding you and what if you didn't like me back... that thought hurt and thereafter your each call made me frustrated because I wanted you to love me back but I was afraid I didn't deserve you..."

"So you loved me too all these years..." Jungkook chuckles

"Yes I loved you and I still do..." Jimin blushes

Jungkook coos "I love you too my cute baby..."

"B-Baby..." Jimin blushes deeper

"Yea... you like that?" Jungkook whispers into Jimin's ears "...baby"

Jimin slightly pushes Jungkook away, making Jungkook fall backwards on the chair and on impulse Jimin pulls the man back towards him, the force making Jungkook hover over Jimin, their face close

"Can I kiss you?" Jungkook asks, his breath tickling Jimin's lips

Instead of answering the man, Jimin places his lips against the man's and kisses him. Jungkook smiles pulling Jimin onto his lap and kissing the boy back with passion.

"I love you... my cute baby" Jungkook says pulling back from the kiss to let the boy breath

"I love you too..." Jimin blushes and Jungkook can't help but place a soft peck against Jimin's forehead
