"I never wanted this marriage..." Jungkook says bluntly to Jimin.

It was the evening after their wedding ceremony and Jimin had just entered Jungkook's apartment and settled into the man's room. Jimin was surprised. He knew things wouldn't be easy. Their marriage was decided abruptly and they got married within that week. They had no time to talk. Their families decided and they accepted

"....please don't expect anything from this marriage"

Jimin is shocked, heart broken and felt betrayed. It's not like he loved Jungkook. He didn't even know the man, but he believed in the constitution of marriage and wanted this relationship to work and here his husband is declaring that their marriage had no future

"Why did you marry me if you didn't want a relationship?" Jimin asks, pain evident in his voice

"My mom is sick, she is an asthmatic patient and I didn't want her to worry anymore. She liked you for me and I couldn't go against her"

"What do you expect from this marriage? I understand your emotions but can I hope that we will work through this and stay married?"

Jungkook shakes his head "...I never wanted a marriage. Its just a waste of time and energy. I have a lot I want to achieve in life and having a partner and family isn't part of it"

"What about me? I want a family with my husband....if you were so sure of your beliefs then you should have told me earlier....I dont understand what you want me to do now"

Jungkook sighs "Look... we stay married for a while and then tell our families it didn't work out...."

"Oh really?" Jimin says sarcastically "...wouldn't that hurt your mother more?"

"No, because I did everything she asked for... she will just believe that some things don't really work out and then she won't force me for another marriage also.."

Jimin looks away for a while, bitting his lips to control his anger and sadness. He really wanted a new start in his life and he thought this marriage was what would heal his heart and soul but it turned out this was what would hurt him more

"Fine! Do whatever you want but don't expect me to stay ideal either. I will do whatever it takes for you to accept this marriage"

Jungkook is taken aback by Jimin's declaration. A strange sense of pride emerged inside him. The feeling of someone wanting him despite his rejection made him feel special already. Someone who cared enough to stay for him.

Jungkook was fully emerged in his work life just like he had told Jimin. Jungkook's earlier life style was to overwork and even stay over at his workplace because he didn't have anyone else waiting for him at home. His mom reminds him that he isn't alone now and that he needs to be home to his new husband. Jungkook reluctantly complies.

Jungkook is surprised at how understanding and calm Jimin is. Jimin's simple style and overall aura made the man calm just by his presence. Jungkook started coming home now by his own accord. While they ate, Jimin would fill the silence - ask about Jungkook's day and would talk about his own. Jungkook liked Jimin's insight on current affairs. It was never boring talking to Jimin even if he didn't contribute much to the conversation. Jungkook feels happy when he learns that Jimin learned to cook Jungkook's favorite dishes from his mom. He really started enjoying Jimin's company more and more.

Jimin wasn't working after marriage because he had to quit his job to move into this new part of the town and also because he wanted to really work on his marriage - home making wasn't really that easy.

Soon though, Jimin started making YouTube shorts of his aesthetic cooking and home decorating videos, something to earn him some pocket money. He didn't want to entirely depend on Jungkook's money, not that Jungkook ever said no. Jungkook had in fact made a separate spending account and card for Jimin to use as he pleased, almost half of Jungkook's money salary was put into that account, the rest half of the money Jungkook used to pay for their monthly bills, groceries and his needs and petrol for his car. The rest of the money, Jungkook trusted Jimin to use as he pleased. But of course Jimin didn't use it unless absolutely necessary. His start up YouTube videos definitely needed the help but after that he gained popularity because of his aesthetic approach.

Everything was going relatively okay between them, Jungkook even started spending a bit more time with Jimin. It was on one such night that they both get drunk, not too drunk to not know what they were doing but drunk enough to loosen their inhibitions

Jungkook couldn't get enough of Jimin since that day and he started to slack at work because he didn't want to go the office or started day dreaming about the boy or calling Jimin from work.

Jimin started being a bit childish too, not in a disgusting or irritating way but in a way that made Jungkook want to cuddle and pamper the boy. But when his work performance slacked, Jungkook felt it was Jimin's fault. He started distancing himself from Jimin again and that made Jimin really upset.

"Jungkook why are you avoiding me? Please let's talk about this.... I feel like our marriage is falling apart..."

"That's why I said not to hope for anything! I told you I didn't want this!"

Jimin's eyes widen "What are you talking about? You... you don't want this marriage anymore?"

Jungkook runs a hand through his hairs in frustration

"J-Jungkook.... if you don't tell me what's bothering you then how can this relationship last..."

"Then let's just divorce!" Jungkook says making Jimin's heart skip a beat "...I can't do this! Its too stressful!"

After that conversation, the relationship between Jimin and Jungkook remained astranged. Jungkook tried apologizing but Jimin's silence just didn't help their relationship

When Jungkook goes for a week's business trip to Germany, Jimin leaves the house. Jungkook sends messages to Jimin when he reached and later too but Jimin just left him on seen. Jungkook sighs and promises himself that once he is back, he will make it up to Jimin. It didn't feel good receiving Jimin's silence anymore. Jungkook understood that he had come to love his tiny husband and he also understood that it was totally his fault that their relationship was failing.

Jungkook smiles as he purchases a jewelery set for Jimin - it would look perfect on the boy. Jungkook had cut short the business dinner, feigning a stomachache and going shopping for his husband - he wanted to pamper Jimin as much as he could.

Jungkook was sure Jimin would forgive him. Jimin was sweet like that.

Imagine his surprise when he sees signed divorce papers on the bed when Jungkook arrives home. He is broken, he is shaking. It takes him a moment to realize what is happening. He calls Jimin and receiving no answer, he calls Jimin's parents but they just hang up the call

I'm sorry that I'm leaving with a truth untold but I'm afraid you will do something about it if I told you. Be happy. I have always loved you but I don't want to burden you anymore. I need to love myself to survive this harsh world. Hope you will find the one meant for you.

Jungkook goes to Jimin's house and his stepmother fumes

"The slut?! He has been kicked out! Such a disgrace!"

And then she slams the door into Jungkook's face

Jungkook was definitely shocked.

Jungkook didn't know Jimin's household was treating the boy so badly. That's when Jungkook realizes what Jimin had said earlier indirectly- he too was forced for the marriage and abused all through his life but Jimin had hoped for a new start and Jungkook failed him

Jungkook goes to Taehyung's house. Taehyung is Jimin's beat friend

Jimin doesn't want to see him, no matter how much Jungkook begged outside the house. Taehyung gets angry seeing Jimin cry inside the house so he asks Jungkook to leave his property

Jungkook leaves with a heavy heart. He knows he deserves this. He doesn't sign the papers. He goes everyday to Taehyung's house to ask for forgiveness but Jimin doesn't come to meet him. Taehyung asks Jungkook to leave but its already been 3 weeks so Jungkook stays adamant and insists on meeting Jimin. Yoongi, Taehyung's boyfriend then talks to Jungkook

"You are doing nothing but hurting Jimin more by doing this. He needs peace. You are just stressing the baby"

Thats when a shocked Jungkook comes to know that Jimin is pregnant with his child. He feels even more guilty that because of him Jimin isn't happy.

Jungkook bursts out into tears, begging on his knees in front of the house. Neighbours soon gather to see the commotion but Yoongi literally kicks Jungkook out of the gate

Jungkook doesn't go to Taehyung's house to wait for Jimin anymore but he sends care packages daily anonymously but of course everyone knows its from Jungkook

Everyday there is a flower bouquet in front of the door, Jimin would secretly peek through the curtains to see it was personally delivered by Jungkook

Jimin felt happy that Jungkook was trying.

Then one day Jimin wonders why Jungkook didn't come with the flowers - it was the only time he got to see Jungkook and he liked that. And then he sighs in relief when he sees the man come by with the flowers but Jungkook was clearly walking with a limp and that made the boy worry and immediately opens the door to meet the man

"What the fck happened?!" Jimin asks when he sees Jungkook's forehead and leg was bleeding.

Jungkook was surprised at the voice and he nearly sobbed when he saw Jimin standing in front of him

"M-my l-love..." and Jungkook loses his balance and falls down

Taehyung and Jimin take the man to the hospital

Jungkook had gotten into an accident on the way to the house but instead of going to the hospital he went to Taehyung's house first

Soon

"Why did you come to the house instead of getting yourself treated?" Jimin asks with a sad pout

"Because I heard from Taehyung that my flowers always make you smile... that it brightens your day and the first thing you do is smell the flowers each day... it helps with your nausea... and I didn't want you to feel sick..."

Jimin's eyes glisten before he sobs into his palms

Jungkook panics

"I'm sorry I'm really sorry please forgive me... it's not for the baby that I want you back... I didn't even know you were pregnant till few days ago when Yoongi told me I am stressing you and the baby.... I promise that I won't do this again... believe me I understand your importance in my life...." Jungkook sobs "....I have regretted a lot in my life... but you were never one of them... and I'm sorry if I made you feel like that... I didn't believe in love... didn't want love... but I fell for my lovely husband ..." Jungkook sobs "....what should I do Jiminah? I dont know what to do anymore... I just want you... and our baby.... please...please forgive me and come back to me... I promise not to make you feel the way I made you feel before... you didn't deserve to go through that... I took out my work stress on you... I didn't know how to manage my emotions.... please teach me .... teach me to love you the way you deserve to be loved....."

Jimin shakes his head, wiping his tears "Love isn't something you teach.... it comes innately and I know you already do.... you just need to prioritize what is more important to you..."

"You are more important to me than anything....... money will come and go but there is only one you and I don't want to lose that.... not everyone is lucky in love and now that I know what love is all about... I don't want to be a fool who lost his love but a fool for his love..." Jungkook says smiling slightly making Jimin blush

Jimin slaps Jungkook's chest slightly

"When did you learn to flirt like that?"

"You bring it naturally out of me..." Jungkook says reaching out to cup Jimin's face "...I love you... please forgive me and give me a chance..."

Jimin nods "Arent you lucky that I love you too?"

Jungkook nods "Very lucky" Jungkook days kissing the boy's forehead
