Jimin sighs as yet again Jungkook broke his promise, making the boy wait in front of a cooked meal at home. The two had been married for over 3 months now. It was a sort of a love marriage or you can say an arranged marriage by themselves.

Jungkook was one of the toppers at BangTan University but he was a very introverted man. On the other hand, Jimin was also one of the toppers but he was known for his friendly nature.

Jungkook and Jimin have interacted for intercollege debate competitions or mathematical decathlon.

It was after their final exam and their last decathlon that Jungkook just proposed to Jimin- not to date but to marry.

"I like you Jimin.... do you want to marry me?"

Jimin was definitely surprised but having found the man intriguing and admiring him for a long time, Jimin agrees- anyways his parents were looking for partners for him and he thought it would be better to marry someone he already knew. Call Jimin weird but he actually liked Jungkook's proposal

Their interaction was more on the shy quiet type - it was their first relationship, both didn't know how to act. Jungkook is quiet but they do spend time together during the weekends for a couple of months and then they get married. Jimin was happy even if they only spend time during the weekends because Jungkook did make him feel special

But after marriage, they didn't even get the weekends. On their first night itself Jungkook gets a call from a client who wanted answers and Jungkook was on call for a long while that Jimin sleeps off even though he wanted to wait for his newly wedded husband, he was very tired. Jungkook smiles seeing his husband sleeping, he kisses the boy's forehead and pulls Jimin closer to him. Jungkook apologizes to the boy the next day but he has less time than before they got married.

Yet again, Jungkook gets into bed, waking Jimin up from sleep

"I'm sorry baby..." Jungkook kisses the boy's head "...work is too hectic..."

Jimin could do nothing but just hum as he hugs the man back

3 months has passed and Jimin wants to discuss their relationship with Jungkook

"Kook, we need to talk..." Jimin says as soon as he sees Jungkook get ready for work

"Later okay babe?...I'm very busy..." Jungkook says kissing Jimin's lips

"Okay"

Another day

"Jungkook ..please... can we talk?"

"Babe..." Jungkook says sighing "....Weekend okay?"

"...Okay..."

Another day

Jungkook sighs when he sees Jimin approaching him as if to talk

"...Not today..I have an important project... okay babe?"

This went on for a month and then it became two

It was not like Jungkook didn't show his affections or compliment Jimin but he didn't have enough time to discuss serious matters

Another day

"...I have things to handle... can we talk later?"

"Enough!" Jimin finally bursts

" ...two months you kept saying the same thing..I tried my best to make this work but not anymore... nothing you do or say will change my mind.. I am done... you hear me.. I am done.. I'm done with you..and this marriage Mr Jeon"

"J-Jimin..." Jungkook is surprised when he sees Jimin leaving with packed bag

Jimin knew this would happen so he already had a pre packed bag, he decided to stay with his friend for a few days to cool down

No matter how many times Jungkook pleaded, Jimin still left

Jungkook goes to Taehyung's house the next day, Jimin refused to go back with Jungkook even after he apologized

"You are not gonna change...You can live without me.."

"I'm sorry I took you for granted... I admit that... I didn't think my actions would have consequences... you are right I can live without you but I don't want to... I really love you Jimin... you are mine...you were already mine and I didn't think that I needed to do more..."

"Really? are you so selfish to just receive my love and care and my understanding and you think I don't need it back...your time?

Jungkook looks down ".... I'm sorry... I really am... I love you..I realized my mistake and I will do anything to make it right between us.... I know it is stupid of me to just say it and not have an action behind it...even if this is killing me..." Jungkook takes a deep breath "...let's stay separate..."

Jimin looks at the man with hurtful eyes

"...Let's date... start afresh... on a clean slate... and then when it feels right...let's live together again..."

"...No..."

Jungkook's eyes water. He thought he was doing the right thing

Jimin sighs cupping Jungkook's face "I love you.. and I know you love me too...

Be the person you are inside..."

Jungkook looks at Jimin with teary eyes

"... stop wondering and live the feelings you have for me...the feelings and thoughts you wrote in your diary..."

Jungkook's eyes widen

"I saw your diary day before yesterday... the thoughts you wrote before you asked me to marry you..."

The entry:

Jimin smiles as he says

Jungkook nods "I love you so much"

"I love you too" Jimin hugs the man who pulled him closer
