"I'm sorry sir but you can't meet the CEO right now..." the receptionist bows her head

"It's important... I promise it won't take much time..." Jimin says nearly pleading

"Who are you? Why do you want to work here when the company is near bankruptcy?" Jungkook frowns

"I'm Park Jimin... I just want to help you... your dad had helped me when I was struggling and I can't just sit back and watch his hard work come to an end..."

Jungkook sighs "I don't think I can pay you..."

"That's okay. I will work for free.. "

That's how Jimin joins the Jeon industries.

Jungkook was impressed with Jimin's work ethics and insight. Jimin helped the man both with the physical work as well as his mental well being - just being around the tiny boy made Jungkook happy. Jimin had an overall calming self and Jungkook could feel his stress melting away

In about 7 months, Jungkook was able to bring back his dad's company back to original form and he was really grateful to Jimin for the same

In another 5 months, Jungkook was able to bring his company sales to a higher percentage, making his company one of the top 3 in the business world

That night of the after party celebrations, Jungkook and Jimin walk along the beach. Both were reluctant to go home after the festivities. The night was indeed beautiful and peaceful, Jungkook couldn't help but smile as he watched the gorgeous boy in front of him

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Jimin asks, blushing after noticing his boss looking at him as if he was too precious for this world

Jungkook smiles, he could feel Jimin's innocence radiating off the boy and he couldn't help it. He was too much in love with the boy and he had to take action for his feelings

"Thank you for everything Jimin....I couldn't have achieved this without you.."

Jimin smiles "You don't have to thank me... it was all you... I just... was there..." Jimin giggles as he walks along with Jungkook on the beach

"You are precious to me..." Jungkook stills making Jimin stop walking and turn to face the man

Jungkook takes a step forward making Jimin nervous

"I love you..." Jungkook says cupping the boy's face. Jimin stood surprised

Jungkook slowly leans in and captures Jimin's lips with his own. Jimin gasps into the kiss allowing Jungkook to deepen the kiss. When Jimin feels the man's hands on his waist, he kisses Jungkook back with the same passion he was getting, his hands encircling around Jungkook's neck

Jimin was enjoying the kiss but that was till he felt the man bring him closer to himself

Jimin immediately pushes the man away, not harshly

"I'm sorry..." and with that Jimin runs away

It took Jungkook a minute to understand what happened and by the time he ran behind Jimin, the boy had already flagged down a taxi and drove away

Jungkook kept calling Jimin but the boy cuts the call and messages him to give him some time

Jungkook curses as he kicks the sand under him. He shouldn't have let his emotions take over. He should have asked permission. He decides to give Jimin space.

Jimin goes home and bursts out into tears and A/N sees him

"Baby... why are you crying?"

"I hurt him... I'm so stupid... why did I kiss him back?" Jimin couldn't stop crying

"Who kissed you?"

"Jeon Jungkook..."

"Mr Jeon?" A/N gulps

A/N calls Jimin baby even though Jimin is older because of his height and cuteness. A/N is Jimin's younger brother who got a job at Jungkook's company when his dad was the CEO. A/N had no qualifications but Mr Jeon took him in because of his kind nature and knowing that A/N was an orphan, offered a peon job to A/N. A/N was not qualified because he didn't want to study after school. A/N started giving out company information to rival companies for easy cash and then quit, Jungkook was now the CEO and it was harder to get information. The rival company got what they needed and brought Jungkook's company near bankruptcy which was the talk of the town. A/N was consumed by guilt and nearly self exited himself but Jimin found him and found out the reason. He couldn't go to Jungkook and tell the truth about what his brother did. He only had A/N but Jimin wanted to help restore the Jeon company name so applied to the company to help the man with moral support and insight. Along the way he fell for Jungkook but never acted on it because he felt guilty. But when Jungkook kissed him on the beach, Jimin couldn't help but kiss him back. But he knows he doesn't deserve Jungkook and he cowardly ran away

Jungkook comes to find Jimin after a week at his apartment, Jimin has stopped showing up for work.

"I deserve to know why you are ghosting me"

"I don't want a relationship right now"

"Baby.. did you..." A/N panics after entering the living room and sees Jungkook "....sir I'm so sorry please don't hurt him..."

"So you are already dating someone?" Jungkook asks jealousy evident in his voice

"What?!" A/N's eyes widen "...look Mr.. "

"Please A/N... go inside.."

A/N stares at his brother and Jungkook for a moment and then leaves

"Yes..."

Jungkook feels hurt

"Then why did you kiss me back? Why did you take care of me whole night when I got sick? Why did you give me hope? Why?"

"I'm sorry... he only has me... and me, him..."

"So you are choosing him at the end?"

Jimin nods and Jungkook turns to leave

"Do you love my hyung?" A/N asks making Jungkook stop and turn back

"What?"

"A/N I told you to .." Jimin tries to stop A/N but he continues

"Mr Jeon .. do you love my brother Jimin?"

"Brother?" Jungkook asks confused and looks at Jimin

Jimin looks at A/N

"Please don't..."

"No... he has to know the truth... and then let him decide whether to stay or leave...."

Jungkook looks at A/N and he tells him everything about the fraud he committed and how Jimin tried to fix everything but not involve him as Jimin is scared that the law will take his baby brother away from him.

"My brother loves you a lot but he feels like he doesn't deserve your love ... I told you everything... now its your choice to stay or not..I am sincerely sorry for betraying your dad's trust in me ..." A/N says before leaving the two alone

Jungkook stood there staring at the ground for a while, Jimin did the same as he wiped the tears that fell

"Jiminah ..." Jungkook sighs "....this is really too much to take in..."

Jimin lets out a sob

"....but all that matters is that I love you... and what I care about is whether you love me?" Jungkook draws near the boy

"I can't"

"Why?" Jungkook holds his hand

"I don't have the right to love you" Jimin's eyes tear up again

"You are so wrong...Only you have this right... I give you... only you this right to love me ..." Jungkook says before leaning in to kiss the boy, Jimin kisses him back

"I love you Park Jimin"

Jimin smiles with tears in his eyes "I love you too"
