people think i am crazy

i know they do

but the way i see it

if they are talking about me

then they aren't talking about you

i know they look at me 

wonder why i don't act

the age i am

well i might be getting up there

but here is a fact

as long as my mind stays young

and i can think and do for myself

i will be me, anyway i want to be

you won't be putting me on a shelf
