Stream BUTTER

Jimin smiles as he watches his family from the doorpost of the kitchen. Behind him, Jungkook was preparing dinner and in front, he could see his three beautiful kids talking and playing around. Jisoo, who was 22 today - her birthday, was holding baby Jungmin in her arms. She had just graduated college and had come over to see her baby brother after Jimin's delivery. Jihyun was in his 2nd year of college and had come home for this family reunion as well. Jihyun's boyfriend Daniel didn't stay over as he didn't want to spoil the Jeon family time, even though Jimin said that it was okay. Daniel really loved Jihyun and knew how much Jihyun missed this.

Jihyun and Jisoo took turns holding and pacifying the baby. Jimin was proud looking at his two elder kids. He didn't know when his mind drifted off to when he was only 22, just like Jisoo is now, and had just found out that he was pregnant with her

Flashback

Jungkook and Jimin got to know each other because of Namjoon, Jungkook's brother who was dating Jin, Jimin's brother. It was love at first sight for Jungkook and he was barely 17 years old at the time and Jimin 19. It took a while but Jungkook managed to convince the boy for a date and 2 years later they became intimate.

Jimin had just graduated college while Jungkook was still in the 2nd year at the time when Jimin found out he was pregnant. Jimin didn't know what to feel. He had just gotten a job a couple of weeks back. Jungkook had his whole life in front of him. Jimin couldn't ruin that. He didn't want to abort the baby but he was not financially set nor mentally ready to have a kid right now.

Jungkook and Jimin hadn't even started living together but they had each other's spare keys. Jimin's plan was to go for a secret abortion without telling the man but Jungkook walked in on Jimin making an appointment on the phone

"You are pregnant?" Jungkook's eyes widen

It was silent for a while between them. Jungkook didn't know what to feel either about the pregnancy but he was definitely disappointed with Jimin's decision to abort their child without any discussion with him

"You know I just started working and they told me not to get pregnant for a year, otherwise I will lose my job... I already signed the contract ... what should I do?" Jimin has tears in his eyes. He felt hopeless

"Do you want the baby?" Jungkook asks as he sat quietly next to Jimin

"I do... but..."

Jungkook sighs looking at Jimin ".. I will support you... nothing is too difficult in this world if we have each other..."

"It's my body...you are just a kid...." Jimin says, frustration evident in his voice

"...I know it's your body but it's our kid. I get it you are scared... but trust me... I love you and our baby... I know you think I'm immature but trust me I will provide..."

"How...how will you provide?!" Jimin cuts the man off

"I will find a job..."

"I don't want you to... you have still 2 more years..." Jimin is crying

"Jimin, I'm not that weak... I can study and work....And provide for us..."

"Why are you so stubborn.... why can't you understand life isn't easy... do you know how hard I work at my job? We don't have money..."

"I know it's not... but if I have you... the whole of you... which includes our child then I'm all good..." Jungkook tries to pacify an emotional Jimin

"You don't understand me!!!" Jimin yells before storming off the apartment

Jungkook sighs closing his eyes for a second before rushing out after Jimin

It was raining outside.

Jungkook kept calling Jimin but the boy switched his phone off making Jungkook worried about the boy

Frustrated he runs around and then sees Jimin looking lifeless as he stands at the edge of the road that led to ongoing traffic

Jungkook immediately runs over and pulls a dazed Jimin into his arms

"What were you thinking?! do you know how worried I was?!"

Jimin could see the anxiety in Jungkook's eyes

"Did you ever think what I was going through not knowing where you are in this horrible weather?... what if you got hurt huh?... you really want to hurt me don't you?... you know very well I hate to see you hurt .... and how can you be so selfish...?" Jungkook says holding the jacket he was wearing over Jimin's head ".. our baby will get hurt"

Jimin just watched the care and love radiating for him from the man in front of him

"You want an abortion? It's your choice..." Jungkook's voice cracked, the rain and thunder just enhancing his emotions ".. I just want you with me... happy and healthy.... I can't live without you.... but I promise if you do decide to keep our love child then I will be with you through it all... through every pain... every craving... and if you want to abort then I will be with you through that too... I love you and I will support you through anything.... As long as you are happy..."

Jimin grabs the jacket that Jungkook held over his head as he stares at the man

"What... what are you looking at... are you happy hurting...?"

Jungkook words were off by Jimin passionately kissing him

Jungkook returns the kiss immediately after the initial 2 seconds of shock

"I love you so much Jungkook and I'm sorry for leaving you like that... I won't ever do it again..."

Jungkook gaze softens as he hears Jimin's gentle voice

"I love you too Jimin... very much... I promise I will do everything to make you smile..."

"You already do that everyday... by just existing..." Jimin says making them both smile "...I'm keeping the baby... I'm sorry I was just scared before..."

Jungkook's eyes fill up with happy tears as he pulls the boy into another weet kiss

"We will make it work Jimin... I promise"

Jimin's thoughts were cut short when he felt two arms circle around his waist from behind and soon someone was nibbling on his ears softly. Jimin felt so overwhelmed with the love and he let his tears out as he turns around to hug the man

"Thank you for giving me our beautiful family... thank you for loving me... for supporting me...thank you for everything..." Jimin mumbles into Jungkook's chest "...I'm sorry..."

Jungkook sighs as he tightens the hug. He knew what Jimin was talking about. After all it was Jisoo's birthday, their first born. She was the reason for their first ever fight and also the reason that strengthened their relationship.

"I love you Jimin... you know that right? I'm never leaving you...ever... you mean the world to me, Jimin.... And I should be the one thanking you for everything you have gone through... physically, mentally and emotionally... I love you... you are mine...." Jungkook cups Jimin's face softly to wipe his tears off with his thumb before leaning in to kiss the boy

"Get a room!" Jihyun says rolling his eyes at his parents making Jimin and Jungkook pull away shyly

"Can I get a baby sister this time...?" Jisoo asks, making Jimin shyly dig his head into Jungkook's chest. Jungkook laughs

"No baby..." Jungkook says as he walks into the living room with Jimin on his side

"Why daddy?" Jisoo pouts

"Because you are our baby girl and we don't want any other girl taking that spot..." Jimin says sitting next to her and holding her hands "...we love you baby... thank you for letting us be your parents..." Jimin says, kissing her forehead "...thank you for being the best daughter we could have ever asked..."

"Appa...." Jisoo tears up as she hugs her father.

"Thank you for being the best sister too..." Jihyun hugs her from behind while holding the baby

"Happy birthday baby!" Jungkook says pulling Jisoo into a side hug, before making everyone pose as he holds up his phone camera

"Say family!" Jungkook grins

"Family!" Everyone says smiling into the camera and just as the camera was about to flash to capture the picture, Jungkook kisses his beautiful husband

Jisoo and Jihyun giggle happy at that as they move away a bit with the baby

Jimin smiles shyly as he hits his husband "...why did you do that in front of the kids?"

"Because I can... and because I love you..."

Jimin's eyes soften

"I love you too Jungkook"
