Jimin was forced to marry Jungkook, for their parent's business sake. Both of them were not ready to settle down. Jungkook especially hated Jimin as he felt like Jimin probably wanted the marriage as Jungkook was more rich and very handsome. What has Jimin to lose really?

Jungkook was rude to the boy. Jimin accepted his fate that he was someone's husband now. Jimin always dreamed of a love marriage but he knew it was not possible now. He was determined to make this marriage his last one and he was ready to give this relationship a chance. 

He accepted that Jungkook was his husband and just that acceptance made him fall for Jungkook who was cold towards him. Jimin accepted this side of Jungkook. Jimin understood that the man might need time to come in terms with this arrangement and he was willing to wait. Jimin always only looked at the good side of Jungkook, always justified for the wrong Jungkook did against him

"Seriously? You are going to moan like a baby for a neck pain? Are you trying to gain my sympathy? My attention?!" Jungkook fumed when Jimin didn't prepare his breakfast that morning since the man had a terrible neck pain

Jimin felt really hurt. He thought Jungkook would be more considerate of him as he was in pain but his husband mistook it as him needing attention. And so he gets up to prepare the man's food 

"No need! I'm already late. Thanks to you!" And with that Jungkook slammed the door. Jimin finally let out the tears he was holding

"Happy birthday Jungkook!" Jimin hands him a box

Jungkook opens the box and then throws away the watch Jimin bought

"An old watch? Seriously? You are so cheap! I give you money don't I? Can't you at least buy me something I like?" 

Jungkook had given Jimin a black card to buy whatever he needed. According to the Jeon and Park family, only the typical alpha males work, the other family members would be at home, taking care of the household. So technically Jimin was forbidden to work and Jungkook was expected to provide for him. Jimin didn't spend any money from the card Jungkook gave him. Jimin was doing an online consultant job and earned enough from it. He bought Jungkook a gift from the money he had saved. It was the watch Iron man wore in his movie premier. It looked cheap but it was something Jimin knew Jungkook would like. But unfortunately Jungkook had already made up his mind to hate the gift and at first glance he thought it was just an old watch

It hurt. Everything started hurting being with Jungkook. Being with a man who didn't appreciate his efforts

"Do you want anything else  Jungkook?" Jimin asks from the kitchen 

"Water!"

Jimin stretches to take the glass from the shelf when his neck starts acting up again. The pain was so intense that he fainted right there in the kitchen. Jungkook runs into the kitchen when he heard the thud

"Seriously? Another act?" Jungkook kneels down and panics when he sees a bruise developing on the boy's head. Jimin hit his head on the kitchen counter as he fainted

Jungkook was just returning to Jimin's VIP room, after paying the hospital bill when he overhears Jimin and his step mom talking 

"Jungkook got you a VIP room huh?" She says looking around 

"Yea.. he is thoughtful like that...always wants people to be happy…" Jimin says softly 

She scoffs "You are still so good at lying…. but I don't care what he treats you like….this is a contract marriage …..marrying you to him is the only good thing your dad did... our business is booming... In our line of  business there is no love. Stop dreaming about a marriage with love.... That is not gonna happen. No matter how much you love him… he will never love you back…" she says and Jungkook could feel Jimin's heart break with the sob he let out "...now don't trouble your husband unnecessarily and get your stupid neck treated already!"

Jungkook was silent as he drove Jimin home. He felt bad that he had misunderstood Jimin. He was arrogant and egoistic thinking Jimin was only acting as if he cared about him. In his family, no one cared. Noone loved him and supported him like Jimin did, not even his mom. Everyone was just focused on money and society norms. 
He looked at Jimin who rested his head against the window frame 

"I love him and I don't expect him to love me back. But that will not stop me from loving him and being there for him. I don't love him for the money. He is smart and he is kind, caring. Even if he doesn't realize it" Jimin's words to the lady kept playing in his mind "...I don't mind getting hurt if by being hurt he is taken care of… I'm happy…"

I'm so sorry Jimin.  Why do you have to like a selfish guy like me?

From the next day, Jungkook smiled 

Jimin was shocked. He stood frozen when he saw that bunny smile he rarely got to witness

He didn't know what to say when Jungkook softly asked him about his health

Jungkook chuckles after he gently placed a soft peck against the boy's forehead before he left for work

What just happened? Am I in a dream? Jimin thought

Ever since that day Jungkook came home early. He would help Jimin around the house whenever he could. He started initiating soft touches here and there when they were together as if it was normal. 

Jimin smiled watching his husband's soft side. Jungkook smiled watching his tiny husband's smile

They felt happy

Then Jungkook receives a call from the credit card company that the  card he gave Jimin hasn't been used in more than a year and they asked if they  should cancel it. That's when he realises that Jimin never used his money. He by then knew Jimin was earning a little by himself. He felt proud of his tiny husband. But of course he felt his ego get hurt that Jimin didn't need to use his money. Jungkook wanted to genuinely provide for his husband now

Jungkook spends whatever time he could with Jimin. He even helped Jimin with new business ideas. 

They started doing date nights every weekend 

They slowly fell in love. With their real selves. Genuinely and not because they were forced to

"Come to the rooftop…" Jungkook calls Jimin on his phone.

Jimin had just showered and gotten ready. They were to go out on a date night again today. It was their 3 year anniversary. 

Jimin shrugs off any thoughts as he walks upstairs to the roof. His eyes widen when he sees the beautiful roof decorated with balloons, flowers banners and candles. The man who stood in front of him looked gorgeous with that sweet bunny smile. The smile that was filled with love for him now 

Jungkook walks up to Jimin and pulls him along with him 

"You are still wearing that watch? It doesn't work.." Jimin giggles as he sees the watch he had gifted Jungkook on the man's wrist

"It's the first gift you gave me... it's the first thoughtful gift anyone has given me... there is no way I would not wear it.. broken or not..."

And with that they are standing in the center of the  flower petals shaped like a heart 

Jimin's eyes water when he sees Jungkook kneel down and pull out a ring box

"I love you Jimin. I know you are fed up of me apologizing for my cold behavior for almost a year towards you. I know you have forgiven me. But baby… I am sorry, I'm sorry for causing you to cry… for causing you pain… I promise from this time forth if you ever cry, then it's only happy tears…" Jungkook's own eyes were glistening now "...I love you Jimin… none of us wanted this marriage but right now I can't imagine my life without you… so Jeon Jimin, will you stay married to me?"

Jimin's tears fall as he nods his head "..yes! Yes of course!"

They both chuckle as Jungkook slips on the ring and stand up. 

"I love you…" Jungkook caresses the boy's face "...thank you for being patient with me…"

"I love you too…" Jimin says closing his eyes when he felt the taller's breath against his lips "...thank you for our child…" 

"What?" Jungkook pulls away 

"I'm pregnant…" Jungkook's tears fall "...I was going to tell you tonight at the restaurant…"

"Oh Jimin…" Jungkook sobs as he hugs the boy "...thank you.. oh God…" Jungkook pulls away fanning his eyes before picking Jimin up bridal style

"What are you doing?" Jimin gasps

"You are pregnant. You shouldn't stand too long on your feet…" 

"Jungkook…" Jimin says making Jungkook stop walking as he looks at the love in Jimin's beautiful eyes "...I love you…"

"I love you too" Jungkook says softly capturing Jimin's lips with his own before carrying the boy downstairs
