Jungkook was a bunny hybrid. His parents were normal. His own dad hated him. He was their only child and when he was born he damaged his mom's uterus and so she could never give birth again. His dad wanted to give him up for adoption but his mom was against it. His dad was abusive growing up. Only his mom gave him some love and let him feel proud about his hybrid status. Jungkook was okay with being a hybrid, it wasn't his fault. But kids at school could be cruel to someone who was a bit different than them. Soon Jungkook became an introvert and he changed schools, wherein he hid his hybrid status hoping that the kids at his new school wouldn't bully him but he was wrong. Even though those kids didn't know he was a hybrid, they bullied him because he was an introvert and thus an easy target for their amusement. 

His mom had left his dad by then because of how abusive the man was towards him

Jimin was the high school sweetheart. He was kind and smart. The boy was  beautiful both inside and out. Everyone loved the boy. 

Jimin protected Jungkook. Jimin always protected people he saw being bullied. Jungkook was in Jimin's class so of course Jungkook got Jimin's attention. 

They soon became close friends. The only friend Jungkook had in years. And it wasn't surprising that Jungkook fell for Jimin. He assumed by how friendly the boy was, that Jimin liked him back as well. Jungkook trusted Jimin so much that he confessed about him being a hybrid. He was afraid of rejection but Jimin was more than happy about this revelation and became even more protective of Jungkook 

Jungkook allowed Jimin to pet his sensitive ears. He doesn't know if Jimin knows that a hybrid allowing a human to pet them means they trusted them. Jimin even used to bring carrots for Jungkook to eat at school. 

Jimin really liked the person Jungkook was when they would hang out outside school. Jungkook was shy but fun and cute.

Jungkook finally gathers up courage to confess his feelings. Jimin accepted him as who he was so Jimin must like him back right?

Wrong. He couldn't have been more wrong in his life.

"I'm sorry Jungkook…" Jimin was really apologetic as they spoke on the rooftop "...I never saw you that way..  I'm sorry…" 

"Then can you think about it?" Jungkook was being desperate

"Jungkook… you are a hybrid… I can't be with someone like that…" Jimin says and then he gasps when he realises what he just said "...Jungkook, i'm so sorry… please forget what I said… you know what I'm trying to say…" 

Jungkook was hurt "...you are just like the others"

Jimin was left crying on the roof. He felt really bad for hurting Jungkook. He didn't know what to say. He didn't know if he felt the same for Jungkook. He didn't want to give Jungkook hope. 

A/N : I hope you understand that a hybrid in this story is like a person who has a syndrome in real life. Finding love for them is very hard. Jimin didn't purposely hurt Jungkook. Jimin at this point is a teenager and hasn't realised that he might also like Jungkook back. People have a stigma against hybrids in their story.

Taemin is obsessed with Jimin. He hated Jungkook and Jimin together. That day he followed them to the rooftop because he saw how nervous Jungkook looked when the boy asked Jimin to join him on the rooftop. Taemin smirks when he hears that Jungkook is a hybrid. Now he knows how to bully Jungkook. Jimin was the only one in this school who knew about this.

A group of boys and Taemin corner Jungkook in the bathroom the next day. Jimin was so upset with himself that he fell sick and stayed home

The boys mocked Jungkook as they forcefully stripped him,calling names like he wasn't a man and he could never have kids and the like

"Look at that boys…" Taemin mocks before grabbing Jungkook harshly up against the wall "...you think you can be with Jimin? You think wearing iron man boxers will make you a man?… you are a fcking girl!"

He was almost down to his underwear as he managed to run away to his home

Jimin comes to know this from Taemin who called him to boast about it and the boy immediately rushes over to Jungkook's house. Jimin was worried for the boy

Jungkook was alone at home when Jimin walked into the house. He has often been there so he knows Jungkook doesn't lock the doors. 

Jungkook was angry. All the words Taemin threw at him, got to him. Jimin was the only one who knew he was a hybrid. Did Jimin really betray his trust just because he didn't want to be with him? That hurt. His animal instincts kicked in when he heard the love of his life in his house, the one who betrayed him, the one who broke his heart. 

Jungkook saw red

Jimin was scared. Right now he couldn't recognize the Jungkook in front of him. It was no longer the sweet shy boy. This man was filled with rage and anger and hurt. 

"Please.. let me go…" Jimin sobbed as Jungkook held him forcefully against the bed 

"I'm not a man huh!? Should I show you how much of a man I can be?!" Jungkook says ripping off Jimin's shirt. 

The man was too strong in his rage. Jimin was no match against him. Jimin was scared. 

"I will show you Jimin! I will show you how I can fck you good like a man!" Jungkook was already sucking purple marks over Jimin's neck but just as he was about to kiss Jimin, the boy's sobs brought him back to reality

Jungkook realised he fked up. He was going to hurt the one person he came to love in all these years. The only person he has loved.  The only one that gave him a reason to live other than his mom. Jimin was sobbing as he sat up. Jungkook immediately threw the shirt he had been wearing towards Jimin and told him to leave 

"Now!"

Jungkook's mom was surprised to see Jimin rush out of the house in tears, wearing Jungkook's shirt. Jimin doesn't stop when she calls for him. 

She rushes upstairs to check on Jungkook. Her eyes widen when she sees the mess in Jungkook's room, she could clearly see Jimin's ripped shirt on the floor

"J-Jungkook…"

Jungkook has tears streaming down his face as he allows his mom to hug him. He soon tells her what happened

His mom was disappointed in him. But she understood that his animal instincts kicked in. The only person he loved and trusted, broke his trust. 

She let him wallow in his self pity. She thought to call Jimin the next day once everyone cooled off. 

But the next day she woke up to find Jungkook in his bunny state. 

Jungkook was hurt. Jungkook hated that he hurt Jimin. He hated that he let rage control him. All this stressed him out too much. He couldn't forgive himself and unconsciously he turned into his hybrid state. He wouldn't be able to change back till he forgave himself or felt that Jimin forgave him

Jungkook's mom apologizes to Jimin for all that had happened. She then begs the boy to help her turn Jungkook back to human form. She only had her son. She needed him back 

Jimin though hurt and traumatized by Jungkook's actions took the bunny in. Jimin understood what happened. He and Jungkook's mom had a talk and they concluded that Jimin was innocent in the unfortunate event that happened at school 

Jimin felt bad for the bunny. Jungkook didn't deserve the hate he received.

Jimin takes care of the bunny. He apologizes for everything that had happened 

Bunny Jungkook always kept his head down and whenever Jimin would lift it's face, there were always tears in its eyes. Jungkook regretted everything

Jimin is upset  and shouts at the bunny for not eating and ignoring him and when Jimin ends up crying, the bunny comes to him and eats the food. 

Jimin  cries hugging the bunny "...how can I be angry at a cute bunny huh? Please come back… I know you are this way because you feel guilty… I forgive you Jungkook… please come back…"

Jungkook would just pout in his bunny form as he watched the boy cry. The bunny wasn't convinced he deserved Jimin's forgiveness for hurting him

By this time Jimin and his mom had told him the truth about what actually happened in school

It's been 3 months since Jungkook stayed with Jimin in his bunny form.

Jimin takes the sleeping bunny into his arms and places the bunny on his chest 

"Do you hear that? That's my heart beating for you Jungkook… I love you… I'm so sorry for realizing it too late…" Jimin says crying as he kisses the bunny's ear softly "...I love you… I miss you… please come back…." Jimin drifts off to sleep cuddling the sleeping bunny on his chest

The next day Jungkook wakes up to find himself on  Jimin's chest

He smiles as he looks at the sleeping boy. Jimin feels movement near him and so he opens his eyes to come face to face with Jungkook in human form, naked on his bed 

Jimin let's out a scream at that 

Jungkook chuckles when Jimin starts  crying 

"Why are you crying?" Jungkook tilts his head 

"Because you are here.. you are finally here…" Jimin cries "...I love you"

"I know… your love… it healed my heart…" Jungkook says cupping the boy's face "...I love you too…"

"Forgive me?" Jungkook asks 

"I already did… a long time ago…"

A/N: Please ask me if you didn't understand the story. It can be confusing I guess. I'm sorry. In short, in this story I'm going for hybrids being like a mutation. So people don't want to associate with such people or are afraid their offspring will be mutated hybrids as well. Hybrids are often bullied for being out of norm. And hybrids can be unpredictable like you see a cute baby lion and think they are innocent but if they get a taste of blood then it's your funeral. Do you understand? I hope so. I suck at this.
