"Fcking beach! I don't ever want to see you! You killed her! You killed my daughter!" Jungkook let out angry tears "....how could you! Is it because she isn't your blood?!"

Jimin's heart sank "...she is my daughter as much as she is yours... just because I didn't give birth doesn't mean I don't love her..." his voice is above a whisper, his heart clenching

Jungkook scoffs "Really?! Then why did you let your daughter go so late at night! If she was your daughter you wouldn't have!"

"Jungkook.. please listen... it's just a misunderstanding..."

"Shut up! I don't ever want to see you! I want a divorce!" Jungkook storms off into his room and slams the door

Jimin fell to his knees sobbing

Jungkook and Jimin are in an arranged marriage. Jungkook has a daughter named A/N from his first marriage, which was arranged too. He didn't like his wife, even though she was always sweet with him. He wasn't ready to marry her then nor was he ready to marry Jimin now. Jungkook didn't find her attractive nor his type, but he tried to be decent with her, doing his responsibilities as a husband even though he was in general a quiet soul. They soon consummate their marriage after both sets of parents ask for a grandchild and then during childbirth she passes away. Jungkook starts being attentive to his baby girl and starts working hard to provide for her needs. He loved her, though he still found it hard to express himself. His parents later found Jimin for him, they knew the man needed a partner to take care of him and his daughter.

It was different with Jimin though. Unlike his first wife, he found Jimin very attractive and Jungkook really liked the boy's personality but Jungkook's mindset and priority was his daughter - he just wanted to provide for her and having to provide for another person burdened him a bit. Jimin was a stay at home dad and Jungkook's full time was spent at work. Jungkook was also afraid that Jimin might leave him if they got intimate, just like A/N's mother

"I want to be with her and take care of her..." Jimin argues

"... she has her dad for that... there is no need for you to be here..." Jungkook doesn't let Jimin near her room

Later

"You are really divorcing him?" Mrs Jeon asks teary eyed

"I have to... he doesn't trust me... even if A/N was to be here and tell the truth, he won't believe me... he already set his mind to hate me... we will never be happy mom... I have to let him go..." Jimin sobs

Jungkook's chest aches when he overhears the conversation - he didn't want a divorce

My heart says I should trust him. I know Jimin would never lie. Then why am I not giving him a chance to explain? Is it because I'm trying to justify not being able to protect my A/N?

Jungkook walks into A/N's room to find some peace. Currently A/N, 15 year old, is lying unconscious in a coma in the hospital. Noone was allowed to stay there beyond visiting hours.

Jungkook walks towards her bed and sits on it

I miss you A/N... my baby... I miss your appa too... I'm sorry....

Jungkook sighs as he reaches out to grab one of her pillows, that's when he sees her diary under it

I hate dadda - Jungkook's heart clenched

Appa always tries to justify for him but I know the truth. Dadda is just a workaholic. He doesn't care about me. I'm so glad my appa is here for me.

Jungkook flips the page over with a heavy heart

He promised. He promised yet again and yet again he broke it. I'm not surprised. I'm not disappointed either. I'm only disappointed for appa that he trusted dadda to take me out. It hurts me that each time appa has to give an excuse for daddy's absence. How can appa be so pure? He has never let me hate my dadda.

Flashback

"A/N wants to go on a play date with you.... you promised her..." Jimin says softly

"Shut the fck up Jimin .. I am so stressed from work... do you have any idea how much paper works I had to do today" Jungkook sighs "..... She will understand okay? She always does"

Few days later

"Of course she is not mad at you. She loves you Jungkook, she knows how much you are sacrificing for her..." Jimin said when Jungkook couldn't make it to her singing competition "...I have recorded it... see ..."

Jimin has never once let Jungkook know how much A/N had hated him at some point with so many disappointments he had thrown at her. Jimin kept both father and daughter happy.

Jungkook's heart ached reading her diary.

Appa got mad at me. He scolded me today. For the first time ever. And why? Because I talked bad about dadda today.

He told me not to hate dadda... that he was working hard, for us, especially me... appa says never to think like this... .. appa always takes the blame for me.... appa really loves me and dadda... I'm so happy to have my family.. I'm glad grandma forced dadda to marry appa.. I hope dadda loves appa back and I get a sibling one day

Jungkook's tears fall - I also want that. I'm sorry to both of you. I'm sorry for hurting you both. I'm sorry for realizing this too late.

Meanwhile

Jimin sent Taehyung to take care of his two loves. Taehyung is Yoongi's boyfriend who is Jungkook's best friend.

Jungkook takes a bite of the food Taehyung gives him

Jungkook stops, his eyes tearing up a bit

"J-Jimin..." he whispers

Fck I miss him... I really need to work on myself.....

Later

Jungkook starts dedicating less time than usual at work. His daughter needs him. And he needs Jimin.

I want to see him. But will he ever want to see me after I hurt him so much.

Jungkook's heart beats fast when he sees Jimin with Taehyung outside Yoongi's building. The man had gone to return a file he had borrowed earlier.

"When you massage her.. you have to gently hold her head like this...okay?" Jimin instructs Taehyung how to care for A/N ".Jungkook...he is doing well right? Eating?"

Tears fell from Jungkook's eyes. He still cares about him

"J-Jimin ah..." Jungkook's voice broke as he walked towards the two

"What are you doing here?" Jimin asks surprised

Jungkook immediately hugs the boy, the file dropping from his hands which Taehyung soon takes. Jimin stood shocked. Taehyung realizes the file was for Yoongi and leaves wanting to give the two privacy

"I missed you! I fcking missed you! I need you please... please come back... I'm sorry for everything...." Jungkook sobbed and Jimin slowly reaches out to pat the man's back

"Shhh... I'm here... it's okay... everything will be okay..."

Jungkook's breath soon evens out

Jungkook pulls back and Jimin slightly smiles as he gently wipes away the man's tears

Jungkook leans in slowly "...I love you..." and softly kisses the boy

Jimin could feel tingles running down his spine.

"...please forgive me... I promise I will try to be a better version of myself and not hide my feelings anymore..."

"I forgive you... because I love you...."

Jimin is back at home and taking care of Jungkook and A/N at the hospital. Jungkook is also doing his part by taking counseling and spending less time at work and more with his family.

Jungkook smiles seeing Jimin preparing clothes for A/N.

Yes, A/N has woken up but she is still hospitalized as she needs physiotherapy.

"I love you..." Jungkook back hugs the boy

Jimin smiles "...I love you too... Now go and grab her diary... she is now able to hold a pen and can't wait to write her progress in it..."

Jungkook chuckles as he rushes into her room and grabs the diary but it slips from his hand. The page opens to the last entry which Jungkook didn't read the last time

I'm going to a party tonight. Appa is sick and already asleep after taking the medicine...so I can sneak out. I'm sorry appa for not telling you but hot seniors from college will be there. It's the party of the year! I will let you know tomorrow about how awesome it was! Bye!

Jungkook broke down

Jimin enters the room after a while, wondering what was taking Jungkook so long

"Jungkook! Why... why are you crying? Are you okay!" Jimin rushes towards the man

Jungkook immediately hugs the boy "...I'm sorry for everything...I blamed you for no fault of yours... I'm sorry.... please don't leave me.... please forgive me...."

"Shh... we already cleared this... we both... me and A/N... we have forgiven you a long time ago... so please leave the past and let's venture on the journey to our bright future..." Jimin smiles, wiping the man's tears "...I love you..." Jimin pecks the man's forehead

Jungkook sighs content "...I love you too..."
