"I'm sorry...." Jungkook says looking at Jimin with regret. Jimin just came to know that Jungkook, his newly wed husband, has a girlfriend "....but I couldn't risk you saying no to the wedding..."

"Why not?!" Jimin is upset and rightly so. Jimin thought he would be starting a new chapter in his life with his new husband but Jungkook just had to destroy his dreams on their wedding night

Jungkook sighs "You know this is a business marriage. Also, your dad is like my mentor and I didn't want to say no to him. I was afraid that you would not agree to marry me, if I told you the truth..."

Jimin is quiet as he watches the man who looked really regretful with his own decisions.

Jimin sighs "I understand the bond you have with my dad. I understand that you didn't want to disappoint him. I also love my dad. Our marriage contract clearly states that this is a marriage of 1 year and if in that time we didn't fall in love, then we can get rhe marriage annulled...." Jimin shakes his head "...I get it.. I get you... but I wish you told me the truth before marriage... before my heart already choose to love you..." Jimin whispers the last part

"I'm sorry..." Jungkook held his head down

"Let's just....." Jimin sighs "..... let's just live like roommates would... for a year..." Jimin smiles slightly before heading out to the guest room.

"I'm sorry..."

Jimin stops, his back facing Jungkook "...I know..."

Jungkook looks at the fading figure - I really hope you don't hate me

A/N is Jungkook's girlfriend. They had been together ever since high school.

Jimin got to see her often, she usually hung out with the both of them at Jungkook's house.

Jimin couldn't deny that A/N was indeed bubbly and friendly, he couldn't fault the man for having her as a girlfriend.

Jungkook had promised her that once the one year contract was over, he would marry her. She was definitely looking forward to that day.

As the days went by though, Jungkook couldn't deny the attraction he felt for his husband

To be honest, he never really liked A/N in that way. A/N was often bullied at his school and feeling sorry for the girl, he had reached out to save her

"You are so sexy... that wound on your lips... I wanna suck it..." a guy draws closer to A/N and noone tried to stop it till Jungkook intervened

"And who are you to her?" The guy frowns seeing Jungkook hide her behind him

"Her b..."

"My boyfriend!" She says and Jungkook's eyes widen and turns to face her. He was about to say that he was her brother or something but seeing her scared with her pleading face, he agrees. And that's how they started hanging out.

A/N was really grateful. She felt like Jungkook was her savior. She needed him to remain sane now.

Jungkook liked her. She was kind and friendly, smart and beautiful. There was no reason to hate her.

As the time went by, he realised that she was not only bullied at school but she was also abused by her strict parents.

He tried to get her dad arrested but A/N pleaded Jungkook not to. Her dad was only abusive to her when he got drunk and him being abusive to her meant her little brother was safe and she owed to never let anyone harm her baby brother.

The thing that amused Jungkook was that A/N never let the abuse get to her - she was always sweet and optimistic no matter what. And that made him promise to be hers forever, sadly a promise that he would break.

Jimin was innocently beautiful, kind and smart. He was clumsy in a way that made Jungkook want to protect the boy. The man's heart would often beat fast when he even thought about the tiny boy. His tiny boy.

Jungkook was confused about his feelings. Actually he was not - because it was clear to him that what he felt for A/N was what he would feel for a close friend or someone he would consider a sister. With Jimin, the man was experiencing feelings he had felt before. He felt happy, he felt safe, he felt excited, he felt loved. Jungkook even experienced feelings of anger and anxiety when Jimin didn't answer his calls or came home late after work, sadness when he had to leave Jimin alone for a week due to work commitments, anxiety and jealousy when he saw Jimin with another man, Jimin's best friend Taehyung. These were all feelings he felt for the boy, feelings that he never felt for A/N, not even once.

Jungkook hated that Jimin cared for him, like a husband would. Hated because he felt like he was cheating on his husband even though A/N was just his girlfriend in name and so he decides to break up with A/N.

Meanwhile, A/N and Jimin were on good terms. Why shouldn't they be? Jimin was fun to be around but A/N noticed how different Jungkook was towards her ever since Jimin came into their lives. A/N could see the love for Jimin in the man's eyes. She, in all her 5 years of knowing the man, has never been able to make him smile or laugh as easily as Jimin did right now. She was jealous, she felt insecure. But she knew Jungkook was a man of his word and he had given her his word that he would be hers in the end.

Yet, she tried to make the couple distant.

"Aah! I'm dying... I can't breathe!" She yells as she eats breakfast with the couple

Her throat was swelling up, her face turned pale and she was sweating.

"W-What... what happened?" Jimin rushes to her concerned

"N-Nuts..."

Jungkook immediately rushes to the living room to grab her purse and inject her with her epi-pen.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook asks, "...how did nuts get into your oatmeal?"

"I... I think Jimin misunderstood...I told him I'm allergic but... maybe he didn't understand..." A/N whispers

"Jungkook.. I didn't..." Jimin tries to defend

But what can Jungkook really do. A/N wasn't faking the symptoms. She could have died. But he trusted Jimin enough to know the boy wouldn't do anything like this purposely.

"J-Jungkook..." Jimin's voice cracks seeing Jungkook silently taking care of her

It hurt. The silence spoke louder than words.

My husband doesn't trust me

The silence destroys the happy relationship between the couple. Things between them became awkward and Jimin now avoided A/N and Jungkook. Jungkook too didn't try to talk either but the two, they missed the other's presence.

This went on for a week and then Jungkook sees Jimin dancing in the kitchen like a chicken and he laughs.

Just by existing, Jimin makes Jungkook happy.

Jimin is startled by the sound and turns around surprised, only to trip but Jungkook is quick enough to catch him. The two couldn't stop staring at each other but Jimin breaks the eye contact first

"Uhm..thanks..." Jimin struggles to get off Jungkook's arms but Jungkook tightens his hold

"You are pretty..." Jungkook says tugging Jimin's hair behind his ears "...so very pretty..."

Jimin's face reddened before he managed to escape Jungkook's hold

"Thank you!" Jimin runs away making Jungkook laugh again

Things between them became normal again, much to A/N's dismay.

A/N's heart broke when Jungkook told her he wanted to stay married to Jimin as he loved him and wanted to break up their non-existent relationship.

They had one physical intimacy beyond which Jungkook never touched her and that too it was a comforting friendly hug when she cried hysterically once. Unfortunately, she took it as a sign of love between the two. It wasn't like she loved him that way either but it just gave her the sense of security that someone liked her. That she wasn't alone in this cruel world.

"I'm sorry..."

A/N sighs "It's okay but you owe me a last date before the break up..."

Jungkook had no issues with it.

They go to a club and she acts like she is drunk. Jungkook takes her home and when they reach there, she offers him a drink

After a while, Jungkook felt dizzy

"Feeling dizzy huh?" A/N smiled a sinister smile as she watched the man lose strength slowly

A/N screamed "You fcking beach! You promised me! You promised to be mine forever!" A/N had angry tears streaming down her face. She finally lost it. The one person she trusted, betrayed her. All the years of abuse finally caught up to her as she dragged the man to bed and undressed him, all the while Jungkook could do nothing but scream internally. He felt paralyzed "...were you lying all this time? Was a just a pity case to you?!"

Tears streamed down Jungkook's face, the only person he thought of was Jimin and how he was betraying his love

"Now... I will be the first to have you in me... the first for you as well..." she smirks as she starts bouncing on him, riding him good. All Jungkook could do was cry silently, he couldn't even beg her to stop.

A/N cries after she rides the man. She couldn't believe she did something so terrible to the man who was always there for her and to Jimin, who she came to like a lot. Her mind went blank, she went crazy as she quickly threw back her clothes and ran away.

Jungkook's drug wore off by then and he struggled to get himself cleaned. He was ashamed of what had happened and blamed himself.

Jimin is surprised when he sees Jungkook walk into their house with a disheveled look. The man had unkempt hair and his clothes a mess. Faint hickeys and scratches could be seen on the man

"Jungkook! What happened? Did someone attack you?!" Jimin asks, worried.

It was clear to anyone that the man was involved in some kind of sexual intimacy but Jimin knew Jungkook wasn't the type to do that to him

Jungkook had confessed his love for him as well as told him the truth behind why A/N was his girlfriend. They have both started sleeping together in the same room.

Jungkook is silent as he quietly goes into the guest room and locks himself up. Jimin is left to imagine the worst

Jimin had the key to the guestroom but decided to let Jungkook have one night to himself.

That night though, Jimin hears the man violent screams so he rushes into the room

"Please stop! Please! I don't want this! Aaah! Please..." Jungkook is sobbing so badly and Jimin tries to calm Jungkook but the man is inconsolable

"Please don't leave me Jiminah... I'm sorry I'm sorry I couldn't do anything... trust me ... please... don't leave me..."

"Jungkook ah..." Jimin cries. He couldn't stand his husband crying " ....please wake up... I will never leave you... I... even if you did cheat on me... I will give you a chance if you explain... I trust you enough to know this is a misunderstanding.... I know you won't hurt me... I love you... please stop crying..."

Jungkook jolts up awake when Jimin keeps trying to wake him up and he bursts out crying seeing Jimin in tears

"Baby... please... tell me what happened.... please let me help you.."

Jimin hugs the man tightly and tries his best to calm the man down

"A-A/N..." Jungkook whispers "....she ... she touched me..." and he again lost his control and wept

Jimin's hold on Jungkook's waist loosens at that

Jungkook looks at the boy in fear

"I'm sorry... I didn't want to.." Jimin cuts a man off with a sweet kiss

"I know... I'm sorry you went through that...I'm not leaving you but...." Jimin pulls away from the hug "...we have to get you into therapy to forget your nightmares as well as confront her... she has to be jailed!"

Jungkook just nods his head as he hugs the boy back "...thank you for being here..."

Jimin smiles slightly, tears continuing to flow as his throat closes "...I'm glad to be here for you....my love"

A/N gets admitted into mental institution after she tries to attempt suicide and is found by her brother, the day after the incident

Jungkook gets the call from her brother about the same. Jungkook and Jimin couldn't help but cry at the news. A/N was a dear friend to the both of them and it hurt to be betrayed by someone they trusted. They both understand that A/N finally snapped after all these years but she snapped at the wrong person. Jungkook didn't deserve to be at the receiving end of her insanity.

**

"It's my fault... I should have never agreed to be her boyfriend... I should have never promised her..."

Jungkook blames himself for giving her the false illusion which led her to get delusional about their relationship but through it all Jimin supports him

"No... it is not your fault...you guys were nothing more than good friends and the truth is both of you knew it... she just... she must have felt noone wanted her when you broke up with her and she reacted that way.... whatever it maybe... you are not to be blamed..."

2 years later

Jungkook got out of his depression with the help of his therapists and above all the loving supportive care from his husband

A/n gets out a changed girl as well in that time but cuts all contacts with them after she sincerely apologies

A/N met a girl at the hospital, a nurse who took care of her and they hit it off. A/N likes her but for now they are just friends.

"I'm happy that she found someone... she deserves love too..." Jimin smiles hugging his husband

"Yea... everyone deserves a second chance..." Jungkook says hugging his husband back "....I love you so much and thank you for being with me through one of the worst moments of my life..."

"I love you too....in sickness and in health...remember..." Jimin giggles already feeling Jungkook's lips against his
