Mr Jeon says to Jungkook, the current CEO of Jeon corporations "...no matter what you say, you are very choosy when it comes to hiring a secretary for yourself and God knows how many you have gotten fired..." Jungkook frowns at that "...please give him a chance... trust me Jimin is more than qualified...."

"If he is so qualified then why doesn't he have a job right now" Jungkook sasses out

"He was working as a secretary for Mr Min at Min corporations..." Jungkook's eyes widened. Min corporation was one of the best in the business world "....but unfortunately his mother wasn't doing so well so he decided to move back to Busan to be closer to her.... Mr Min was the one who recommended him to me... that man terribly misses Jimin's expertise and dedication..." Mr Jeon looks at his son with puppy dog eyes

"Fine!" Jungkook frowns "...but I will fire him if he isn't upto the mark"

"Fine by me"

"Fcking hell! How irresponsible..." Jungkook frowns, rubbing his aching forehead. His manager had made a huge mistake and now he was left to remedy the mess

"May I come in, Sir?" A sweet voice interrupts Jungkook's rant

"Come in!" Jungkook says coldly looking at his laptop

"Sir... I'm Park Jimin... your secretary..." the boy bows

Jungkook lifts his head to look at the boy

"Sir..." Jimin says slightly weirded out by the man's stares

"Aah y-yes.. welcome... I assume my dad already told you what is expected from you?" Jungkook stutters a bit

"Yes sir..."

"Good... you may go..."

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Jimin asks, making Jungkook stare at him again. Jimin was uncomfortable

"...not at present"

Was the cold hearted boss attracted to his secretary? Definitely. Jimin was smart, kind and proactive. Jimin understood the man without even Jungkook having to say a word about what he was thinking.

Fck him! Who does he think he is? Calling my ideas amateur.... I want some banana milk - Jungkook sighs

"Sir... I got you something.." Jimin whispers near Jungkook after entering and closing the office door

"Can't I get some peace around here!?"

"Have this..." Jimin says placing two small bottles of banana milk on the man's desk

"W-What?" Jungkook's eyes widen

"Have some banana milk and relax...."Jimin smiles "...I know Mr Lee pissed you off. He was just jealous of the fact that Mr Kang loved your project better than his... ... the way you shut Mr Lee by countering his ideas.... that was pretty impressive, sir...."

"Hmmm" Jungkook hums sipping on the milk as he stared at the boy

Yup, he was definitely in love with his secretary Park Jimin

Jimin was with Jungkook for two years now. Noone has ever lasted this long as his secretary before.

People could see how Jungkook has changed over the years being a bit more caring to his employees and cutting them slack. Jungkook was now in control of his emotions and temper and his employees started liking him as their boss.

Did Jimin also start liking his boss? Definitely yes. Why? Jungkook had started making the boy eat lunch with him everyday forcefully ever since the man came to know Jimin was not eating well, even going as far as to buying Jimin his favorites. Jungkook would drop the boy off at home after a late evening at work, a bit forcefully reminding the boy who the real boss was.

Jimin definitely liked this caring side, even if it was technically forced on him.

Everything was well between the two till the day Jungkook insults the boy in front of everyone.

Jungkook has always been bad when it came to expressing his feelings, Jimin was no exception when it came to the receiving side of Jungkook's love.

There was a huge meeting with Mr Min on Monday that Jungkook had to attend. Jungkook had given Jimin the weekend to complete an unexpectedly huge paper work for the same. Jimin was capable of doing the work but at the end of the day, he was only human. The boy couldn't complete the work and ended up being scolded by Jungkook on Monday.

Jungkook fumes when he sees Jimin's pictures on his sister Y/N's Instagram. Jimin and Y/N were pretty close now, ever since they had met once when Y/N came to the office to see her elder brother. Apparently, Jimin was partying with Y/N at the club on Sunday night and there were pictures of Jimin hugging and dancing with a one Mr Kim Taehyung and Jungkook absolutely hated the picture. When Jimin came in that day a bit later than usual, Jungkook blew his fuse.

"Finally remembered that the weekend is over Mr Park?" Jungkook asks coldly, standing outside his office room, clearly waiting for the tiny boy to show up

"Sir, I'm sorry but...."

"Hand me the files!" Jungkook interrupts the boy

"Sir..." Jimin says handing the files "...this is..."

Jungkook fumes as he slams the files shut

"Incomplete work and on top of that coming late for work!! Is this how a secretary is supposed to behave?! Did I give you so much freedom that you forgot your place in this company, huh Park Jimin?!"

Jimin's eyes widened, Jungkook never scolded him nor used his full name. Everyone was staring at them in silence by then. Jimin could feel their stares

"Sir...I..."

"Partying away the whole night, weren't you?" Jungkook tsks "...so irresponsible! I regret agreeing to my dad's request to hire you!"

Jimin's eyes suddenly tear up. It hurt to hear the one he loved say such hurtful things to him

"Follow me!" Jungkook says sternly and Jimin does

"Who were you with yesterday night huh?!" Jungkook asks as soon as he closes the door behind them

Jimin is quiet making Jungkook angry

"Kim Taehyung huh!" Jungkook says making Jimin look at him "...who is he? Your boyfriend?!"

Jimin's eyes widened "No! No... he is Mr Min's boyfriend..."

Jungkook cuts him off with a scoff "Do you take me for a fool?! Mr Min is already dating Mr Jung!" Jungkook's eyes are red with anger

"Sir it's..."

"Just take these files and complete them quickly! Because of you I have to postpone my meeting with Mr Min!" Jungkook says roughly handing Jimin the files

"Sir let me ex..."

"Shut up and leave!"

Jimin stares at the man for a second before walking out the room

"Woah! What is this silence for?" Y/N asks as soon as she walks into the office building and onto the top floor. She notices Jimin exiting her brother's room "....Jimin..."

Y/N's eyes widen when she sees tears in the boy's eyes "...what happened?!"

"You idiot!" Y/N slams the door shut behind her as soon as she enters Jungkook's office, making him frown

"What?"

"How can you embarrass Jimin in front of everyone like that?!"

Jungkook scoffs as he looks at his sister seated in front of him across the table "...did he come crying to you about how bad I am now?"

"You know Jimin would never do that... I don't know why he is in love with a cold hearted person like you.." Y/N scoffs

Jungkook's eyes widened "...w-what did you say..."

Y/N smirks "Why? Are you suddenly deaf now?"

"Y/N stop lying... he can't love me... he has a boyfriend..." Jungkook frowns

"Who told you that?" Y/N looks at Jungkook with a frown on her face

"Uhm... Kim Taehyung... you tagged them as soulmates in your IG story..."

Y/N's eyes widen "You watch my IG stories!!"

"Shut up!"

Y/N pouts "...I didn't even know you had an Instagram account. You said it was for suckers...." Y/N's eyes widen "...you are jikookmin aren't you? You are the only one who wrote that picture should be burned!"

Jungkook gulps making Y/N laugh

"You are such an idiot!" She chuckles "...Tae is a very close friend of mine from college and he is dating Yoongi oppa and Hobi oppa for years now... Tae just isn't comfortable with revealing their relationship to the public yet, though he told us yesterday that Yoongi oppa will be revealing their relationship soon..." Jungkook looks at her shocked "...Tae and Jimin know each other from the time Jimin was working with Yoongi oppa..."

Jungkook's eyes fill with regret

"....also, I was the one who forced Jimin to go to the club with me as a treat, after I begged him to help me with my college assignments... the whole weekend he had been helping grandma Jeon as well... that's why he was unable to complete the files... besides Yoongi oppa had mentioned that he would be postponing the meeting himself so Jimin didn't need to complete the work yet... I guess oppa just forgot to tell you about it assuming maybe Jimin would tell you...and I think Jimin misunderstood that oppa would call you and accidentally slept off till the afternoon..."

A tear rolls down Jungkook's eye

"Omo! Oppa!" Y/N's eyes widen seeing that and runs to comfort him

"I really am a fool, aren't I?" Jungkook sniffles hugging his baby sister back

"A bit.." she chuckles, making Jungkook pout "...but I get it... jealousy makes you do a lot of weird things..."

"Jealousy? I'm not jealous!" Jungkook says

"Yea sure! And this is not me walking out of this room..." Y/N says walking towards the door and opening it "...see.. I can put a not before words too.." Y/N rolls her eyes

"Y/N..." Jungkook whispers making Y/N sigh as she closes the door

"You love him, oppa..." Y/N says drawing closer to the man "...it's pretty obvious that you both do... you just need to let him know that..."

Jimin sighs the whole time he was working on the files. He had tried his best to not tell the reason why he was upset to Y/N. He didn't want her to fight with her brother because of him. He has been working non stop for 5 hours now when suddenly the electricity got cut.

"...what the..." Jimin mumbles as he walks out of his room and into the open hall "...where is everyone?"

Jimin walks towards the stairwell and notices a board with his name and an arrow pointing to the roof

Jimin cautiously walks up and takes a deep breath before opening the door to the roof

Jimin's eyes widened seeing the beautifully decorated rooftop. There were candles everywhere, balloons attached to the walls and flower petals beautifully scattered across the floor

"What..." Jimin's eyes glisten when he sees Jungkook standing right in front of him, 5 steps away, looking at him with a small smile

"Hey love..." Jungkook says walking closer, Jimin's heart beats fast "..I'm really sorry for yelling at you for no reason.. I was..." Jungkook stands next to the boy "...I was jealous..."

"Jealous?" Jimin looks at the man confused

Jungkook hums as he reaches out to hold Jimin's tiny palms in his own

"Jealous that you were someone else's..." Jungkook says looking at the boy with love "...jealous that there was someone else you would rather call your soulmate..." Jimin's eyes widened "....someone who is not me..."

"Sir..."

"Jungkook..." Jungkook interrupts the boy "..call me Jungkook from now...even at work..."

"W-Why?"

"...I want everyone to know who owns my heart..."

Jimin's eyes widen wider "...w-what?!"

"I love you Park Jimin..." Jungkook cups the boy's face "...have for a very long time... probably from the first time I saw you... I'm sorry for realizing and confessing so late...." Jungkook says wiping the lone tear that escaped Jimin's eyes "....will you be my boyfriend?"

Jimin's eyes disappear in the shy smile he flashes the man "...y-yes I would love to..."

Jungkook smiles his beautiful bunny teeth in full display "...I love you so much ...." he says hugging the boy

"I love you too....Jungkook..." Jimin says shyly hiding his face in Jungkook's chest
