Jungkook is a famous idol at the young age of 25 years. He has been in the entertainment industry from when he was 15. Everyone loved him - for his musical skills, good looks and overall flirty nature.

After 4 months of intense practice for the end of the year award shows, talk shows and performing in the same, Jungkook finally got a break. His manager Namjoon arranged for him to stay at a countryside resort for some alone time and to enjoy nature.

Jimin is a stable boy at the countryside resort. It is a remote area far away from city life. Currently, he was downtown to buy things. After he was done shopping he notices that his bike was blocked in by a big car

Jimin waited around for a bit, looking for the owner of the car.

"Aaaish! I need to go! Where are they?!" Jimin groans, kicking the ground below him but due to his clumsy self, he accidentally hits the car wheels instead

"Yah! What the fck do you think you are doing?!" A voice yells at the boy

The boy looks around terrified. The two stood staring at the other for a moment while the man's acquaintance quickly got into the driver's seat and moved the car, understanding the issue. Seeing that he got enough driving space, Jimin hopped onto his bike and rode off in top speed

"What the..." the man was left dumbfounded at the boy's actions

"Aaaish!!" Jungkook yells into the phone. He was on the phone with his manager to complain about the boy who rudely kicked his car when his phone shut down due to network issues.

Jungkook had by then reached the resort. They didn't have cell service there

Jungkook walked into the resort, taking along with him his luggage that his driver handed him.

The man was indeed intrigued with the view. It looked serene.

"Hello sir, how can I help you?" A sweet voice brings Jungkook back to reality

"Oh... you!" Jungkook frowns seeing the boy again

Jimin frowns too till he sees Jungkook's car behind the man, that was now being driven off his view

"I apologize for earlier..." Jimin bows his head "....it was an accident... I didn't mean to kick your car... I'm clumsy by nature..." Jimin says drawing closer to Jungkook but accidentally trips on his own shoes making the man reach out to hold the boy

"I believe you..." Jungkook playfully says when he notices the boy looking at him with vulnerable eyes

Jimin blushes at their closeness

"Thank you..." Jimin gets out of Jungkook's hold "...how may I help you today?"

After a while,

"You really don't know who I am? Don't you surf the net..." Jungkook is surprised that Jimin didn't know about him

"No... sorry... we don't have any internet connection here..."

Jungkook frowns at the boy, searching Jimin's eyes for the lie but doesn't find any.

"No net?! How do you expect me to relax without the internet?!" Jungkook groans

Jimin giggles at that - Jungkook looked cute as he pouted in childish anger.

"There are a lot of things to do here, sir... let me guide you around... please follow me, sir.." Jimin gestures the man to follow him

Jimin goes on to show the man what the resort had to offer - a huge library, beautiful view of the mountain, a wide river area - perfect for a picnic and a swim. An area perfect for any artist to feel inspired - the serenity, the peace and tranquility provided a perfect ambience to relax. Jimin then showed Jungkook the resort's prized possessions- the horses. Jungkook couldn't help but admire the way Jimin described everything about the horses and the resort in general, the boy was beautiful and kind - Jungkook couldn't deny that.

And what Jungkook liked the most about the boy was that - Jimin treated him as a normal person,unlike everyone else who thought of him as an idol. Jungkook loved this feeling of being one of the others and not being surrounded by fake people. He felt liberated, he could be himself without fear of being judged.

The two everyday rode horses together and went on to enjoy nature together as well as swam together.

"Wow..." Jimin walks into Jungkook's room, the man's door was open anyway "...that was beautiful. You should seriously consider music as a career..." Jimin says impressed with the man's singing

Jungkook chuckles "..sure." he says playfully

"I'm serious..." Jimin pouts

Jungkook hums as he pulls Jimin to sit near him

Jungkook takes his guitar, playing it as he looks into Jimin's eyes

Jimin smiles as he listens to the man sing. Something about Jungkook's voice just drew him to the man

"...Jimin.." Jungkook says as soon as the song is over "....I love you..."

Jimin's eyes widen

"J-Jungkook..."

"Do you love me too?"

"J-Jungkook... What are you saying? I'm a country boy... and you are a city folk... we don't belong"

"That doesn't answer my question, Jimin" Jungkook holds the boy's wrist when Jimin turns to leave

Jungkook turns the boy around

"Do you like me?"

Jungkook cups Jimin's face "...do you?" Jungkook's breath tickles the boy's lips

"I-I d-do..." and the next thing Jimin knows Jungkook has already pulled him into a passionate kiss

Jungkook smiles, both breathless, after he pulls away from the kiss "...I love you..." Jungkook kissing the boy's forehead softly, as a promise

Jungkook and Jimin dated. The man had a one month break at the resort and by then the two became quite close.

Jungkook stopped answering Namjoon's calls to the resort. His manager demanded the man to return back to work but Jungkook didn't want to leave Jimin. Jimin had no idea that Jungkook is a busy idol. Jungkook had just told the boy that he was writing and producing music.

"Jungkook, what the fck?! You are seriously thinking of living here forever?!" Namjoon fumed. The man drove miles to get to the resort to bring Jungkook back to Seoul and now Jungkook refused

"...but I love him, hyung...."

Namjoon sighs "...love doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your career... there are millions of fans waiting for you... do you think it's right to hurt them? Jimin will understand..."

And just like that Jungkook decides to return back to Seoul, completely breaking Jimin's naive heart. Everytime someone came to the resort, they would try to get with Jimin and promise to stay in touch, only for Jimin to be disappointed as those people never contacted him again. But this time, Jimin had formed a bond deeper than friendship with Jungkook and he doesn't know if his poor innocent heart could handle another last farewell.

"I promise I will be back... I will call you...okay?" Jungkook promises before he gets into the car "...I love you.." he kisses the boy's forehead

A tear rolls down Jimin's cheek watching his first love ride away into the distance

Jungkook missed the boy but due to him taking a few extra days at the resort, his work schedule was all haywire. The moment he reached Seoul, he was sent on a lot of talk shows and competitions as a judge. He was expected to write new songs for his upcoming album scheduled in two months. The man had no time. Jungkook missed the boy terribly but with Jimin having no internet and cell service, he couldn't contact the boy. When Jungkook did find some time to call, it would be too late and Jimin wouldn't be near the phone to answer it

Finally, Jungkook reaches Jimin

"Baby! Oh thank God! I missed you so much!"

"H-Hi I missed you too..." Jimin says softly

"Baby don't cry! I'm sorry I couldn't call you...I will take the next flight over to .."

"No!"

"Why?!"

"Think of your fans... they paid for the concerts already..."

Jimin had heard about Jungkook's news on TV when he had gone to the city to buy some things. They were commenting on how Jungkook was being unprofessional by showing up weeks after his scheduled plans and being distracted nowadays and not caring about other people's time. Jimin didn't want anyone to say anything negative about the man.

"J-Jimin..." Jungkook's voice softens

"We won't work, Jungkook..." Jimin says defeated "... we are two worlds apart..."

It had been a week since their last phone call. Jimin was upset. He had thought Jungkook would at least call him back again. Jungkook did call one more time but Jimin had told him not to call again and after that the idol never called again.

Jimin was riding on his horse when he heard something click behind him

"Beautiful!" The voice brings tears to Jimin's eyes as he turns around

"J-Jungkook..." Jimin gets off his horse "....what are you doing here? You were on your world tour right? You shouldn't be here...."

Jungkook smiles as he draws near to Jimin. Holding the tiny boy in his arms, he smiles lovingly

"Millions love me but I found the one in a million that is meant for me. I'm not stupid to let it go just for fame. Fame will come and go, but true love,....." Jungkook tugs Jimin's hair behind his ear "....it's only once in a lifetime. If my fans truly love me then they will be supportive of who I love and if I lose a couple of them because of it, I don't care. At the end of the day I want love too,I am human too. I don't wanna regret it one day - I wish I held on to my love. You are worth everything in the world to me.. you are my euphoria. Please be with me...."

"But .." Jimin is hesitant about their future

"... I will continue singing. Life of an idol is only till they are 40 or so ....not more. I have about 15 years left for that. Please stay. I need you...." Jungkook tries to convince the boy who stood shocked "....we can come back here after my retirement and run this resort together, by then I would have saved up enough money to live peacefully with our kids... let your uncle take care of the place till then..." Jungkook's excitement about their future makes Jimin cry. Jungkook really wanted a future with him - Jimin could see that and that made him feel overwhelmed. Jimin has never been more sure of his feelings than now

"For years people have been telling me what to do... for once let me do what my heart tells me to..." Jungkook smiles softly at the boy as he wipes the boy's tears "....Park Jimin, will you be my boyfriend and move in with me?

"Yes..." Jimin nods his head, tears streaming down his face

Jungkook cups the boy's face "I love you so much Jimin"

Jimin reaches out to hold the hands on his face, closing his eyes, already feeling Jungkook's lips on his forehead "....I love you too, Jungkook"
