Jungkook and Jimin are in an arranged marriage. They both had two extremes of personalities - Jungkook was reserved and cold, he couldn't express himself and often his actions and behavior came out as rude, having an attitude and hurtful to his family - they were used to it but was Jimin?

Jimin was bubbly and friendly, never once did he have an uneventful day in his life. The boy always had something he had to share with anyone around him - not to the point of annoying someone but enough to make the other person feel less lonely and even feel special enough to be included in Jimin's life.

With Jungkook's cold personality it really hurt the boy who craved attention and love. Jimin loved to hug and show affection through touch but Jungkook's cold self made the tiny boy hesitant and sad. It made the boy depressed as he couldn't express himself in the way he wanted to. He has always wanted a partner, someone he could show his affections to but Jungkook didn't seem like a person who would entertain such actions. And so Jimin had to suppress his natural self to not appear annoying to his husband

Jungkook surprisingly didn't mind Jimin being interested in his life, in fact he enjoyed the tiny boy's excited talks but the man could never reciprocate nor show that he actually appreciated Jimin's efforts

"Kook ah your breakfast is ready...." Jimin calls out to his husband once he set up the table

"Hm.." Jungkook sits down at the dining table

After few minutes,

"How is the food? Did you like it? Do you want something else?" Jimin is just dying to have any sort of conversation with the man

"Hmm..." Jungkook continues eating the food, making Jimin believe that the man didn't hate it

A bit later,

"Have a nice day Kook ah..." Jimin says when he sees the man towards the door

"Hmm..." Jungkook hums and leaves making Jimin sigh as he gets ready for his work as well - an online consultant

Why so monotonous? Why can't you say anything other than hmmm huh?! Aaaish! How did I even fall for such a cold man? Maybe I am Bella and he is my Edward - Jimin giggles at his own childish thoughts as he carries on his day

Their life was pretty much the same every day - Jungkook being cold and distant while Jimin tried his best to be the ideal husband Jungkook would appreciate. Jungkook never stopped Jimin from talking about his day or stopped him from asking questions about his day at work.

Jungkook pays attention to anything Jimin says and that's how he ends up buying the boy his favorite cupcakes.

Jimin had commented on how much he missed eating from MaMa Bakeries. The bakery had a signature cupcake that Jimin loved but they unfortunately had to move quite far away from where Jimin currently stayed at. And the next thing that Jimin knows, Jungkook had bought him two boxes full of those cupcakes that evening after work. Things like these made Jimin feel special, afterall Jungkook had to drive 2 hours from his office to get it . It gave Jimin hope but that only made things worse for him as the boy expected or assumed things to go a bit more smoother in their relationship, only for them to get back to square one with Jungkook being cold all over again.

Other than that, everything was, in general, okay between them.

Today, Jungkook had a business party and he informed Jimin about it. Jungkook wanted Jimin to join him.

Jimin got ready after work for the event. He dressed up extra elegant for the occasion. It was his first time going out with Jungkook to a business party

"Jimin! Are you ready yet?! We have to....." Jungkook's words were cut off by the view in front of him of his lovely husband. His eyes, he couldn't move it away from Jimin's entire self

Yup, Jimin was indeed gorgeous and mesmerizingly beautiful. Jungkook found himself indeed lucky to have found someone who was both beautiful inside and out

"....do I look bad? Should I change?" Jimin asks worried seeing Jungkook look at him as if in daze

"No!" Jungkook clears his throat "... I mean ...... there is no time for it..."

Jimin pouts following the man - why can't you compliment me? I know you like the way I dressed up today. Your eyes can't lie.

"You look handsome..." Jimin comments as Jungkook drives "...as always..."

"Hmm..." Jungkook hums, trying to control the small smile that crept up on his face. He felt happy to know that Jimin liked his appearance

At the party

Jimin was asked to wait for Jungkook as the man went on to talk to his business partners. Jimin was bored out of his mind as he waited for his husband. Jimin was playing with his fingers when he noticed some kids playing near him had pushed another kid

"...are you okay honey?" Jimin rushes to help the kid

"...yea.. ... my brother doesn't want me to play with his friends..." the kid pouts

"Will you play with me? No one wants to play with me either..." Jimin pouts making the kid's eyes light up

"Yes! Yes!" The kid hugs Jimin

The two played around for a bit as Jungkook's eyes searched for his husband

Jungkook internally smiles at his husband being playful with the small kid.

Jungkook was talking to Yoongi, his business partner when Jimin joined them.

"Jungkook ah... Taeyoon is so cute..can you imagine a little you in the house ..." Jimin says holding onto Jungkook's arms, not realizing that Yoongi was just a hand distance away. According to Jimin, Jungkook's and Yoongi's conversation was over as the other man was talking on the phone.

Jungkook was irritated at Jimin's childish nature. He didn't hate it per say, but Jungkook did find it a bit unprofessional to discuss such personal matters at a business party, especially when they weren't intimate in that way yet. Yoongi was thinking of backing away from Jungkook's earlier business proposal and that was also weighing on his mind. Jungkook noticed how Yoongi was now staring at Jimin and that irked the man further.

"Really Jimin?! You wanna talk about having kids at a business party?! How immature!" Jungkook says through gritted teeth but Yoongi hears it "...sometimes you don't know when to say what. It would be better if you could just be quiet for a moment...." Jungkook sighs out loud

"O-oh... I'm sorry...."

Jimin's eyes tear up in embarrassment and walks away from the man

"Ji..." Jungkook curses himself at Jimin's defected face

"You shouldn't have said that. Jimin doesn't deserve that .." Yoongi interrupts him

Jungkook pauses to look at the man. He felt jealous

"...you know my Jimin?"

Flashback

Yoongi was Jimin's senior at school. And Jimin had the biggest crush on the man.

Jimin admired the man's talents and understood that Yoongi's cold personality was just a defense mechanism. Yoongi didn't appreciate the fact that Jimin understood him.

Yoongi one day calls Jimin to the rooftop

"I don't love you" Yoongi says making Jimin's heart hurt

"Sunbae..."

"I know you didn't confess to me. But I also know you love me. And I can't reciprocate it. Your constant love for me is just making me feel suffocated and burdened. So please... please stop loving me and being close to me...and I advise you not to be so clingy with anyone else in the future... they might feel burdened"

That was Jimin's first heartbreak

"I wish I never said that to him. He didn't deserve it at all. I was just too ashamed to admit that I liked him back then,because I know he was just a kid who was infatuated by his senior. It's not uncommon to feel so but I made him feel like he did a crime. I did apologize when I graduated and he was fine with it...." Yoongi sighs "...I get you... you are just like me, not knowing when to show our feelings out in the open and letting out our insecurities on the ones we truly love... I also insulted him just like you did..." Yoongi looks up at the man who had tears glistening in his eyes "...But do you know what the difference between you and I is .... I was just a senior who insulted him privately.... But you... you are his husband, the one who is his for life... and you insulted him in front of someone else...."

Jungkook gulps. He didn't mean it at all

"I..."

"Just go and talk to him.. not me..."

The whole ride home was silent. Jungkook apologized and tried to get Jimin to talk to him but it seemed like Jimin's brain just shut down, like the boy forgot how to talk.

This went on for two more days. No matter what Jungkook did, Jimin wouldn't speak a word. Jungkook even got his mom to talk to the boy but Jimin just wouldn't talk

When Jungkook shouted at him, Jimin had flashbacks to when Yoongi had said no one will like his clingy behavior and now he believes that Jungkook doesn't like him. He is afraid. Yoongi's words never bothered him but Jungkook's did

It hurt.

If me talking is what you hate about me then I will not talk again

"He is depressed... his eyes ... they are lifeless... what did you do?!" Jungkook's mom asks Jungkook once she visits Jimin

"I..."

"Whatever you did doesn't matter... I want to see my cute son back to his normal self" she says angrily before she left

Jungkook enters the house

"Jimin..." Jungkook goes over to the boy and pulls the boy into a back hug, making Jimin flinch a little "....I can't go a day without hearing you... please talk to me, sweetheart... I really miss you...." Jungkook's tears wet Jimin's shirt making the boy turn around to face the man "....I'm really sorry for always being to myself... please... please tell me what I should do to get my old Jimin back..."

"M-My.." Jimin's voice squeaks out making Jungkook look at him in shock

"D-did you just talk... I missed you...oh God...." Jungkook hugs the boy making Jimin smile a bit

"Hmmm..." Jimin hums

"I...I love you Jimin..." Jungkook confesses and Jimin's eyes widen "....I know you probably won't believe me after everything I did and said but... I really like you a lot... I want to be the man of your dreams... literally... I will try my hardest to express myself more.. I know I am lacking in that area... I love you... everything about you... there is nothing I want to change about you... you are perfect... please forgive me not only for embarrassing you in front of him but also for ignoring you ever since our marriage.."

"I forgive you..." Jimin says cupping Jungkook's cheek, a tear rolls down both their eyes "....because I love you..."

Jungkook sobbed as he pulled Jimin into a tight hug "....and I love you..."

Jimin pulls away from the hug and cups Jungkook's face again, pulling the man's head towards him to peck his forehead softly

"Forever yours Jungkook" Jimin says and Jungkook rests his forehead against Jimin's, holding Jimin's hands in his own and bringing them to his chest

"Forever mine"

A/N: Okay, I can't express how bad I feel for not being able to write a good story. You guys are so talented and give me good plots but unfortunately I can't develop those ideas.
