Jungkook is the son of businessman Jeon. He has been brought up with a golden spoon in his mouth and being the only son of Mr Jeon, Jungkook had been spoiled to the core.

Jungkook only associated himself with people of his status. He lived a carefree life. He was naturally skilled, smart and talented but Jungkook never used those to succeed in life. He just wasted his dad's money

"I will just go check up on Tae and I will be right back, okay?" Yoongi says parking his car near an apartment complex. Taehyung, Yoongi's secretary and current boyfriend was sick that day

Yoongi is Jungkook's best friend

"Your boyfriend hmm..." Jungkook teases "....would he mind if I come in to pee? I hope his bathroom is in working condition...." Jungkook sarcastically comments

Yoongi smirks "....why? Will that make your pee take an u-turn back up?"

Jungkook frowns

"Just come up and pee if you want, you jerk!"

Jungkook follows the man up

"Uncle Min!" A boy exclaims when Yoongi opens the apartment door and runs towards the man. He had a key

Yoongi chuckles as he pats the boy's head "....good to see you chap! Is uncle Tae resting?"

"...yea... well appa is with him... so they are just laughing and having fun the whole day...." the boy pouts "....I don't understand what they are talking about...."

Yoongi laughs as he excuses himself. By then, Jungkook comes back from going to the toilet that Yoongi had earlier pointed him out to

"....this is Uncle Jungkook.... have fun with him while I go to Tae okay?"

The boy excitedly nods his head as Yoongi walks away

"...you love Iron man? My appa likes hulk...." the boy comments seeing Jungkook's iron man phone case

"Hulk?! How stupid is your appa?" Jungkook smiles sarcastically at the boy making the boy upset

"My appa isn't stupid! You are!"

"Did you just call me stupid!? You are stupid!"

Yea, Jungkook was pretty childish for being spoiled all his life

"...I'm not stupid..." the boy starts sobbing

Jungkook panics seeing the boy cry and immediately exits the apartment and goes to Yoongi's car

A month later

Jungkook was just entering Yoongi's company party at a hotel when he bumps into someone harshly

"What the....?!" Jungkook's words were cut off when he sees who he bumped into

"Oh I'm so sorry...are you okay?" the boy's angelic voice makes Jungkook's heart flutter

"...I'm okay..." Jungkook says softly

The boy smiles, his eyes disappearing in that smile and Jungkook could feel his heart going boom boom

"...appa... I'm sorry I ran to get the chocolate cup.." a boy's voice brings the two adults back to reality

"It's okay baby... but please next time be careful... I almost knocked down this gentleman...." the man softly scolds his son

"I'm sorry appa... I'm sorry uncle..." the boy's eyes widen as he sees the man "..You!"

The man looks between his son and Jungkook confused "...you know him?"

"Yea! He is the one who called me stupid!"

The man's eyes widened. Jungkook looks away embarrassed

"It was just a playful joke... I swear..." Jungkook tries to justify himself

The man frowns "....by calling a kid stupid? I don't think so..." the man reaches out to hold his son's hand "....excuse me"

Jungkook had been staring at the man all throughout the party. Finally he got to know that the man was actually Jimin, a single father and Taehyung's best friend. Jimin's boyfriend had passed away in an accident when Jimin was in his 5th month of pregnancy and had been single ever since

Jungkook's heart ached for the boy

Jungkook, ever since their first encounter at the party, had been trying to get Jimin's attention. It irked the man that Jimin remained immune to his advances

Jimin can't deny that Jungkook was indeed charming and attractive but after knowing the way Jungkook behaved with his son, Jimin lost interest and tells the man so

But does Jungkook stop? No. In fact he tries harder to get Jimin to date him. Jungkook sends over flowers, chocolates and toys to Jimin's house. Jimin didn't appreciate it at all

"Please stop this! I can't believe you dared to go to my son's school and give him and his classmates gifts and call yourself his dad.... this is too much!"

"But I love you and Jihyun!" Jungkook replies upset

"W-What?!" Jimin's eyes widen at that

Jungkook had been following Jimin and Jihyun around for a long time - trying to learn more about them. The more he learned, the more he fell for the two. Jungkook genuinely wanted to have the two in his life.

"I love you okay!" Jungkook sighs "....I have been searching more about you and Jihyun and I fell for you both... I have been trying to get you to date me to get to know the real me....but..."

"...I'm sorry I don't believe you... please stop whatever you are doing" Jimin says before walking away

Jungkook was yet again at Jihyun's school. He had been checking in on the little boy for a while now. Jihyun knew about the man's presence but never acknowledged him.

Today as usual Jungkook was watching the boy play in the playground during lunch break when a group of 2nd graders started bullying Jihyun. Jungkook immediately goes into parent mode and protects the boy.

"T-thank y-you.." Jihyun sniffles hugging the man, making Jungkook chuckle

"Anytime..."

From that day Jihyun gets closer to Jungkook, despite Jimin having told him otherwise.

"I thank you for protecting my son..." Jimin visits Jungkook yet again when the teachers inform him about Jungkook's constant presence at school. Jihyun also confessing the truth

"...but please stop... I will never be interested in you..."

"Why?" Jungkook is upset

"You are childish and privileged. You are 28 years old but yet you have no goals in your life. You need to start taking responsibility for yourself. If you don't, then how do you expect to take care of a family? You can't always rely on your dad's money.... you need to live for yourself.. by yourself...and face the harsh realities in life...."

That's how Jungkook finally becomes more serious in his life - he starts working in a normal company as a normal employee. He didn't want to work at his dad's and for Jimin to call him privileged again. He wanted to prove that he could take care of Jimin and Jihyun by himself

It was hard, very hard initially but Jungkook made it work. Jungkook was naturally skilled and talented after all

Jimin started missing the man's presence. Jungkook had stopped coming over frequently - his new work consumed his time

In whatever time Jungkook did have now, he never failed to make Jimin and Jihyun feel special with the little money he had now. Jimin had come to know about the man as well - the man's skills, talents, kindness and childishness - Jimin loved it all. Jungkook never failed to make Jimin and Jihyun feel loved. Jihyun already accepted Jungkook as his dad, all that Jungkook now needed was Jimin's approval

"Yes!.." Jimin says when he sees Jungkook out his apartment door when the boy opened the door

Jungkook looks at the man confused

"What?"

"Appa means he will be your boyfriend!" Jihyun says hugging the man

"....really?" Jungkook's eyes are comically enlarged

Jihyun hums "....appa has been sulking the whole week because he missed you badly.... he kept looking at the wallpaper of us together on his phone...."

Jimin's ears reddened

Jungkook looks at the tiny man and smiles seeing that. Jihyun was up in his arms by now "....is what Jihyun saying the truth?"

"Yes! Look!" Jihyun reaches out to snatch the phone off Jimin's hands

Jungkook's eyes brighten up when he sees their picture together that he had taken and sent to Jimin, as the man's wallpaper.

"I thought you said you hated that picture because I was in it..." Jungkook teases

"Yes but Jihyun looks cute in it.... that's why I kept it..." Jimin defends

"Then why didn't you crop me out of it..."

"Because that's the only picture I have of you!"

A silence ensues and Jimin turns to leave embarrassed

"Jimin..." Jungkook says making Jimin stop "....do you really want to be my boyfriend?" Jungkook asks hope evident in his voice

Jimin turns around "...why? Did you change your mind now?"

"What?! Of course not! You know I want..." Jungkook's words are cut off by Jimin hugging him tightly

"I missed you!" Jimin sniffles against Jungkook's chest making the man and Jihyun smile

"I missed you both too...." Jungkook hugs the two tightly

"I love you Jimin...." Jungkook says when he feels Jimin peek at him

Jimin smiles as Jungkook kisses his forehead "....I love you too Jungkook"

"And I love you both appa and dadda!!"

The adults chuckle "....we love you too"
