Life may have been so unkind,
but that shouldn't keep us from being kind.

This world may be unfair,
but be fair anyway...

People may cheat and lie,
but be honest still!
Don't let this world change who you are,
Remain strong-willed!

The world may try it's best to pollute our minds;
But always wash yourself with the blood of the lamb,
Know your verses to be cleansed by the word.

These words I tell myself-don't be deaf,
Listen!
