A week has past and Jessica still hasn't heard from Sam.

Her mom and Sarah stayed to help her pack everything up and head back to Minnesota with her.

"You okay Jess?" Sarah asks but Jessica just stares into space and doesn't answer.
"Jessica!" She raises her voice.
"Hm?! Oh! Sorry!"
"Are you okay?"
"I'm okay."
"You don't look okay."
"... I just don't understand. Why hasn't he called me?"
"Oh Jess.. I don't know, he's an idiot!"
"But I don't understand! How could he be with me for so long and not even give me an explanation? Fine he doesn't want to marry me, but doesn't he love me? Why doesn't he want to be with me?"
"Jessica, you are such a great person.. You don't deserve this. Please just try to forget about Sam, because he's not good for you."
"I know that, but I love him and I can't help who I fall in love with."
"Why don't we go out and forget about him?"
"No.. I don't want to."
"Jessica, you've spent long enough crying over this guy. I hate seeing you upset."
"Well I hate being upset, but I just can't seem to let him go."
Sarah rolls her eyes and says, "Well I don't know what to tell you then. You want to call him? Then call him! I just don't want him hurting you again!"

That night Jessica kept thinking on weather or not she should call him, and just as soon as she went to pick up her phone, it rang.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jess.."

"Sam?"

"Yeah.. It's me."

"What do you want?"

"I wanted to call to tell you that I'm sorry."

"You're sorry?"

"Yeah. I know I acted like a total ass and I want to apologize. I still love you, Jess."

"I love you too... But I can't keep dating you knowing that there's no future. I can't be with someone who doesn't want to be with me."

"But I do want to be with you, Jessica!"

"Sam you've done this before. I just don't want to get hurt again."

"I promise you that I won't hurt you every again!"

"Why should I believe you?"

"Jessica please!" Sam says as his voice begins to shake.

"You know.. I've waited for days for you to call me.. But now that you've called and I hear your voice... I don't know."

"What do you mean?"

"I just need some time to myself."

"What are you saying."

"I'm breaking up with you, Sam.."

"What? Jessie, no!"

A tear falls from Jessica's cheek and and she says in almost a whisper, "Goodbye, Sam."

She hears him begging as she lowers the phone slowly.
She hangs up and cries herself to sleep.

The next day she goes down for breakfast and her mother asks if she's okay.

"Yeah, I'm just tired.."
"You look sad."
"Well.. I broke up with Sam last night."
"You did?!" Her moms eyes light up.
"Mom!"
"Sorry!  I mean, you did?" She says faking a sad look.
Jessica rolls her eyes and says, "Yeah, he called me last night and apologized.. Which I wanted so bad to say it was okay and go back to how things were.. But I can't.  At least not right now.  I just need time to think."
"Well you take all the time you need, sweetie." Dorothy tells her as she sets pancakes down in front of her.

Two weeks have past and Jessica was going out with her friends.
King Kong still had not premiered, so she could still go out without getting recognized.

She wore a skin tight black dress with black heels and red lips.
"Do I look like a whore?" She asks her friends.
"Oh course not!"
"Why would you say that?" Sarah asks.
"I was just asking... Maybe I'll stay home.  It's still too soon."
"Oh please!  It is not!  Besides, you're not gonna fuck anyone, we're just going out to have fun."

While they were out Sarah points out that a guy kept staring at her.
"Jessica, look at that guy!  He won't stop looking at you!"
"Oh stop!"
"No, I'm serious!"
Jessica looks over her shoulder and quickly turns around when she makes eye contact with the mysterious guy.
"Oh he's cute!"
"I know!  Go talk to him!"
"What?  No way!  I can't do that!"
"Why not?!  Just go!"
"No!"
"Shh!  Stop!  He's coming over here." Sarah's eyes widen.
"Shut up!  He is not!"
"Relax!  Push your boobs up!" She quickly adjusts Jessica in her dress then sits back nonchalantly.
"Sarah!" She laughs as the man says, "Hello."
Jessica looks up to the tall dark and handsome man.
"..Hi." She smiles.
"I'm Alejandro."
"I'm Jessica."
"Jessica.. That's a beautiful name."
"Well thank you." She giggles.
"So, Jessica.. Could I but you a drink?"
"I'm good, thanks." She says as Sarah hits her back.
Jessica turns sharply towards her and Sarah whispered, "Just have fun!" Before she walks off.

Jessica was mid sentence when she noticed him smiling at her.
"What?  Do I have something on my face?!"
"No!" He laughed.
"It's just... Well, you're very beautiful, Jessica."
"Aw!  Well, thank you!"

"Jessica, I've had an amazing night talking with you.. How would you like to go out sometime?"
"I'd like that." She smiles.

Jessica still could not get Sam out of her mind.  There was this nice and handsome man talking to her, but he was always in the back of her mind.
"You know what Alejandro?  How about we finish this at your place?"
Alejandro was taken back by her offer, but he quickly accepted and they snuck out.

Jessica felt she could get Sam out of her mind if she just made herself move on.

When they got back to his place there was no talking.  Jessica took her dress off and helped him get undressed.

Even though she and Sam were broken up, she felt as though she had cheated on him.

Jessica slipped her underwear on and threw on the dress shirt that Alejandro wore the night before. 

She walked down stairs and smelled the delicious breakfast he had prepared.

Jessica smiles then walks over to him.
"How did you sleep, mi amor?" He grabs the sides of her cheeks and looks deep into her eyes.

The way he looked at her made her feel special.
A way that Sam never made her feel.

"I slept great, thank you."
"Good!" He smiled then kissed her sweet, soft lips passionately.

They ate breakfast on his big beautiful balcony that overlooked a gorgeous view.
"Jessica, mi amor.. I know we have just met, but I have to say that I have fallen hard for you."
Jessica smiled and said, "Alejandro, I need to talk to you."
"What is it, beautiful?" Hand held her hand and looked into her eyes.
"I just broke up with my boyfriend two weeks ago.. I'm still trying to get over him.. And I like you, I really really do.. I just don't want to use you."
"It's okay, I will be here for you."
"You know.. I've been with Sam since I was eighteen, and you have made me feel more special in one night than he did in a whole year and a half.
"Why wouldn't I make you feel special?  You are an extremely beautiful woman and deserve nothing but the best.

Jessica loved the way he made her feel, she loved that he didn't even know that she was going to star in a movie, but yet he still treated her like she was a star.

Two months have past and Jessica has gotten a place of her own and is still seeing Alejandro.
By now he knows about the movie and is extremely proud of her.

"Mi amor." He called her as she cooked dinner for the two of them.
"Yes baby?"
"I want you to meet my parents."
"Oh, Ale are you serious?"
"Of course!  I want them to meet my gorgeous girl."
"You're so sweet." She looks over her shoulder and smiles at him.

Alejandro stood up and walked over to the stove where Jessica was cooking and put his hands on her waist.
"Que linda!"
"What does that mean?" She smiles.
"It means, how beautiful!"
He kissed her neck and she giggled.
"You're so beautiful, mi corazón."
"Aye, papi!" She turns to him and giggles.
"There we go, my girl!  If you're gonna meet my parents, I'm gonna need to teach you some Spanish!  Repeat after every me.  Su niño es increíble"
"Su n-ni-" She stops and starts laughing.
Alejandro laughs and says it again, "Su niño es increíble!"
"Su.. niño..."
"Es increíble."
"Es increíble." She smiles.
"Very good!" He kisses her.
"What did I just say?" She laughs.
"Your son is incredible." He smiles.
Jessica laughs and says, "Well that's very true!"
She turns off the stove and says, "Dinners ready!"
"I'll take desert first." He lifts her up.
"Ah!" She giggles and wraps her legs around his body.

A few weeks later Jessica, Alejandro, Sarah and her mother head to the movie premiere.

"Jessica, I just have to tell you how happy I am that you're with Alejandro.  He's so sweet and he treats you so well."
"He really does." She smiles.
"I told you that you deserved someone better than Sam."
"Yeah." She smiles.

Things in Jessica's life were finally starting to fall into place.
She was with this amazing guy and was on her way to a movie premiere that she was staring in.  It couldn't get any better.
Could this be it?  Could Alejandro be the one?
