"WANDA?" Kol said to her.

"I'm right here." the girl replied looking at her lover.

"Oh, for a moment I thought-" Kol started.

"It's okay, I'm still me, still here for now."

"And linked to that monster. I promise, I'm gonna find a way out of this for you." the vampire told her.

Wanda's eyes softened but she shook her head, "Just how strong is that witch? Also how are my powers compressed if that collar isn't on me." Wanda thought out loud.

"I'd like to know that too." Kol said.

"Kol you don't have a clue of what your up against, I can tell." Wanda told her boyfriend.

"Hasn't stopped me before. Stay here. I'll be back as soon as I can."

"Wait, you're leaving? Kol, we don't know how much time we have together." Wanda told the vampire not wanting him to leave.

"Losing you broke me. I will not stand around and let it happen again." Kol told her.

"That thing has to be killed, and if she dies apparently so do I. You obviously can't help her, that would be betraying your family and I won't allow that." Wanda said.

"Well that would be my specialty. Stay here."

"Are you going somewhere Kol?" the Hollow asked.

"I asked for some time alone with her before you use me to do your dirty work. You have been dead , years, surely you can spare an hour." Kol bitterly said.

"Every second counts if you want Wanda to continue breathing." she stated.

"What is it that you need, then? Am I to handle your errands? Or your laundry?" Kol sarcastically asked.

"It's actually quite simple. I have long wanted to be mortal, but now that I am alive, I can die. In fact, your own family is relentless in their quest to kill me." the Hollow spoke.

"Look, if you want me to put in a good word, that ship has sailed." Kol stated.

"I have my own protection spell, cast in the form of a totem. You will safeguard my totem, until I'm done with your family. If you falter, if any harm comes my way, Wanda will suffer with me." The Hollow lied knowing no harm could be done to the girl.

But that was something the vampire didn't know.

Wanda hated feeling useless, she had no powers and worst of all she was being used against Kol. She had to find a way out.

But first what was binding her magic?

Kol walked in, "I might have angered my sister but oh well."

"Kol, tell me you aren't actually helping this witch." Wanda said to her lover.

"I don't have another choice my love. I won't let her hurt or take you away from me, not that I finally have you back."

"But betraying your family Kol? There has to be another way." Wanda told him.

"There may be a way to unlink you two but it requires a powerful witch." Kol said.

"So then find a witch who will do the spell, get me out of here and I'll help kick that witches ass back six feet underground."

Kol smiled at her, "How I've missed you darling."

Wanda smiled at him when she noticed a ring around his neck, "What's that?" she asked, hoping it wasn't from another person.

Kol looked at where she pointed and smiled, he took the necklace off and held the ring in his hand. "It was for you."

Wanda's eyes widened, "What?"

Kol laughed and placed the ring back around his neck.

Wanda looked at the necklace curiously, "I'll tell you once this is all over, my love" he said.

Wanda huffed.

Kol chuckled, "I promise, I just want to do it right."

Wanda tilted her head in confusion.

Kol smiled at her, "Don't worry about it for now darling."

Wanda chuckled, "How long was it for you?" she asked him.

"More than five years."

"It was just five years in my world but it felt like 15 minutes for me." she told him.

"What?" Kol asked confused.

"I was gone for five years Kol and it was only a couple of minutes for me." she sighed.

"Those five years were the most horrifying thing I have had to experience." Kol told Wanda.

"I'm sorry" she whispered.

"Stop. It wasn't your fault." Kol quickly said.

"I broke my promise." Wanda said.

"Not because you chose to, and never would I blame it on you."

"Kol..." Wanda looked at him not knowing how to say it.

"What?" he asked suddenly anxious.

"I wasn't planning on coming back either." she said watching his face.

Kol stood abruptly, "You're lying" he said looking at her.

Wanda stood as her eyes started to slightly water, "I'm sorry" she whispered.

"What- why- why would you not want to come back?" the vampire asked started to shake.

"Kol-" she tried.

"Why Wanda." he said looking hurt.

"Don't you see Kol? Look around you, look at how much problems I've caused Kol. I'll only bring your family down to ruins and I won't let that happen."

"That's not true-" Kol started but Wanda cut him off.

"Kol I wasn't even here and guess what? Here I am, being used to make you betray your family! And you could've gotten killed when you left with me."

"I choose to go with you and I am choosing you, I'll do whatever it takes to keep you by my side. My family needs you too Wanda." Kol told the young girl.

"And that won't be the best for them." Wanda stated.

"You can't leave me Wanda, please."

Wanda felt a tug at her heart, their soulmate bond was pulling the two towards each other.

"Let's get out of this first my love." Wanda told him.

Kol cleared his throat, "Right, I have to go now."

The vampire was gone in a second.

"Hey, buddy." Kol said to his niece as he walked into her room.

"Are my mom and dad back?" the young girl asked her uncle.

"Not quite. Hey, you know what I used to do, when I was bored at your age? Magic." Kol smiled.

"I'm not supposed to do magic with strangers." Hope replied.

"What? I-I'm family." Kol told the little girl.

"So why did you go away?" Hope asked him.

"I went away because I was sad. And I thought I'd never be happy again. And I didn't want to make everybody that I loved around me sad, too." Kol said to her.

"So if I untie this knot, aunt Wanda will be free from the Hollow?" Hope asked only interested in helping because it was her aunt.

"I hope so." Kol replied.

"And you really love aunt Wanda?"

"Yes. Kind of like your mom loves, uh..." Kol trailed off nervously.

"Uncle Elijah" answered Hope.

"You are miraculously well-adjusted."

"All right. Focus on the knot, love. It's very important, and I'll be right back." Kol told Hope as he went downstairs where Klaus stood.

"I imagine right now you're rather cross with me. You should know I have my reasons." Kol defended.

"Rebekah suggested I hear them. I'd rather rip out your vocal chords." Klaus glared.

Klaus sped towards his brother but Kol got out of the way, "Nik! It's Wanda!" Kol shouted.

The hybrid stopped having heard the girls name, "What the bloody hell are you talking about?"

"The Hollow brought her back and linked their two lives if the Hollow dies so does Wanda I just need a bloody second to set her free." Kol explained to his brother.

"Your not lying?"

"When it comes to Wanda's safety I would never lie."

"Bloody hell, fine go, bring her back." Klaus said hoping it wouldn't cost them anyone else from their family.

"Thank you Nik."

"Don't thank me, I'm doing it for her not you."

Wanda felt like a weight was suddenly lifted off of her, she stood and stepped out of the room she was locked it when suddenly her magic rushed through her.

It was back, her magic was back.

Wanda smiled to herself when Kol appeared before her. "Wanda" he laughed breathlessly overjoyed it had worked.

Wanda laughed and launched herself into his arms.

Kol held the girl never wanting to let go.

Wanda pulled back enough to see his face, "I love you" Kol said.

"And I love you" Wanda smiled, Kol felt like his heart was beating again, finally hearing those three words come from her mouth made the vampire complete again.

Kol cupped her face and crashed their lips together, he had never missed her touch, voice, and embrace so much.

Wanda wrapped her arms around his neck, being near him made the girl sane once again.

The two soulmates never wanted to let the other go.

"Everything is set." The Hollow stated.

"Perfect."
