KLAUS ENTERED the living room as he told Freya, "Rebekah and Kol just landed. I assured them we're mere moments from returning our brother to life. Don't make me a liar."
"I can't resurrect Elijah until I'm certain his mind is whole." Freya said to her brother.
"Well, you saved Finn with that very trinket. What's the problem?" the hybrid asked.
"When that pendant was shattered, Elijah's mind shattered with it. He's most likely retreated to the innermost core of his consciousness." the witch answered.
"How do we find that?" Hayley questioned.
"I don't know. It could be anywhere in over a thousand years of memories, but if I try fixing the pendant before finding him and healing his mind, he'll be permanently fractured, like casting a broken bone before it's been properly set."
"Spare me the medical analogies and fix him." Klaus spoke.
"I need to go inside and find him. Once I'm sure his mind is stable, then I can fix the pendant." Freya explained.
"Klaus? Take a walk. Get some air, let her work. Please." Hayley turned towards Freya, "Please tell me you can do this."
"He's my brother. I'm not gonna stop until he's safe."
..,..
"I never told you... but over countless years, you have meant so much to me. You have been a redeemer, a confidant, a mentor, a rival... and a friend. And at times, yes, you've been... a royal pain in the ass. Now look at you. I'm so sorry. My brother. This will not be your end. I will not rest until I bring you back. No matter how many I have to kill to insure it." Klaus spoke.
"Sounds like fun. I could do with a bit of murder and mayhem." Rebekah said as she appeared.
"Perhaps you should have stayed where you were." Klaus told the blonde.
"I never should have left. Elijah might still be alive." Rebekah sighed.
"Or you'd be lying beside him."
"All right! Chitchat's over. Can we slaughter someone now?" Kol smiled.
"Well, first things first. We need to destroy the weapons that give our enemy their advantage. Now, one scratch from the rosebush is lethal to us. Freya has tracked down the eight that remain, including the main plant. Here, in the Ninth Ward." Klaus told his two siblings.
"Fine, so we burn them all and then we murder that wretched bitch." Rebekah said.
"Lethal thorns, resurrected witches... what could possibly go wrong?" Kol sarcastically said.
"You actually think you can pull this off?" Hayley asked the witch as the two were in the courtyard.
"I don't know. I've never actually tried this before." Freya replied.
"Freya, there are a thousand years of memories in there. How will you know which is the right one?" the hybrid asked her.
"He'll recognize me. If I can find the core of his being or whatever memory he's clinging to, I'll pull him out."
..,..
"Like stealing candy from a baby." Rebekah smiled.
"Yes, but I'm not finished with this one." Kol muttered as he eyed a witch on the ground.
"Well, hurry up. We still have more ground to cover." Klaus told his younger brother.
"What is the point of interrogation? We know their motives. New Orleans witches despise our family. They always have." Rebekah stated.
"Because you are beasts. Evil atrocities against nature. Your kind has ruined this city." the witch spat.
"Yes. I'm the worst of the worst. So tell me, is your master going to save you from me?" Kol asked with a sly smirk.
"Go ahead, kill me. My life ends for a greater cause than you can ever fathom. The Hollow has risen. Nothing can stop her. Not you, not the Ancestors, and not even your own precious witch." the witch spoke.
The three Mikaelson stood confused, until it hit Rebekah. "Wanda?" she whispered.
Kol and Klaus turned back to the blonde who had a shocked expression.
The witch laughed, Kol grabbed the witch's body slamming it into the wall, "What do you know of her." he growled.
"If that witch comes back we have one of her kind someone just as strong, you can't win."
"Stop running your bloody mouth and answer my brother's question." Klaus snapped.
Kol tightened his hand around the witches neck, "Answer"
"Expect her arrival soon." the witch spoke then took a glass and pierced his heart, killing himself.
Kol dropped the body and staggered back.
"Could she be alive?" Rebekah asked sounding hopeful.
"But how?" Klaus asked.
"It shouldn't be possible." Kol whispered.
"And what the blasted hell did they mean when they said they had one of Wanda's kind?" Klaus asked.
"I don't know." Rebekah sighed.
Suddenly an unexpected headache pierced Kol's mind making him groan, "Kol what's wrong?" Rebekah asked him.
"No" Kol said as his eyes widened, the vampire stormed out of the abandoned house as his two siblings watched in confusion.
"Any witch you find you question them about Wanda." Klaus told the blonde.
"If there's a way to get her back I'll do whatever it takes."
..,..
Kol sat on the ground in the Lafayette cemetery when Rebekah approached him, "Suppose everybody's celebrating Elijah's rescue? One big happy family?" Kol scoffed.
"Something like that. You should be here, too, you know." Rebekah told him.
"Well, everybody got what they wanted." Kol sighed.
"Kol... I'm going to stay in New Orleans. At least until we see this through. Stay, we can find more out about Wanda." Rebekah offered.
Kol simply nodded.
..,..
Kol threw some stones while the wind carried leaves in the air, the vampire sensed someone near him, "I'm not in the mood for games, witch." he snapped.
"What if I told you I can bring your precious Wanda back?" The Hollow smiled.
Kol looked back at the witch with wide eyes as his breathing stopped. The witch sliced her hand and a scream was heard in the tomb, Kol suddenly took off in a run.
"Wanda!" he shouted as he entered the tomb and there the red head was, she was dressed in the exact same outfit he had last seen her in, she looked like she had gotten into a fight, and at the palm of her hand the exact same cut the Hollow made.
Wanda stood confused as to how she was back in Kol's universe, she was just before Tony's dying body.
"Wanda" Kol breathed not believing his eyes, she was really in front of him. The women he loved was really there.
"What's going on Kol?" Wanda asked him as she cradled her palm. She was thrown in a loop after that sudden portal caught her and landed her here.
"Some would go to the ends of the Earth to protect their love." The Hollow said as she appeared.
Wanda tried to summon her powers but was unable too, "I wouldn't try that, I took extra precautions with a little help. As of right now your as vulnerable as a human." the Hollow told the girl.
Kol looked terrified, he turned towards the witch. "Let her go or I will rip you into pieces." he threatened.
"I wouldn't do that. She and I are now linked. So, if you want to keep her safe, then you belong to me."
Wanda's eyes widened.
This couldn't be happening.
