..,..

RED CHOAS MAGIC was all that could be seen. Wanda would send a beam of her power at herself but the other witch always blocked it after quickly returning the gesture. Neither had hid the other yet.

Kol ripped a wolf's head off as he felt his pent up anger surfacing. He was pissed, and because of it, he wanted blood.

Klaus kicked a vampire towards Marcel who swiftly snapped their neck.

Wiccan shot beams of his power straight at the witch's while Hope used elemental magic to keep them from the original's.

Rebekah caught sight of a wolf that lunged at Adira who was currently aiming to crash into the spell that were controlling so many supernatural's.

The blonde original gripped the female by the ankle and swung her body into what was left of the loft walls.

Freya casted an infliction spell on a vampire that had been aiming for Wiccan who was currently occupied with the witch's as Hope was by his side lending him a hand.

Wanda grunted as her older self's blast began to get stronger. 2045 Wanda smiled at her younger self, "You've gotten stronger since I last saw you which was what? 2 days ago?"

The younger witch grit her teeth as she summoned up a sphere of her chaos energy and launched it at herself. Wanda raised her palm and easily absorbed her own magic, "You can't win."

"We'll see about that."

The elder witch extended her arms and shot a massive amount of her power at the other Wanda. The red head grunted as she hit the back of a pole from the blast.

"Alright, I'm annoyed." the younger Maximoff female grunted as she stood on her feet once more.

2045 Wanda smirked, "I'm just getting started."

Her younger self dusted off her pants and glanced at her family, they had been to struggle under the mass amount of creatures attacking them.

"I tried to warn you."

2026 Wanda turned to look at her other self who had an unreadable expression. "I tried to warn you that there was no way out, but you were stubborn. Now, look where that got you. You have to watch your family die before you and none other than by your own hand."

Wanda watched in fear as a wolf bit into Kol's neck, the original gripped the male's head and ripped it off while wobbly regaining his posture.

Her gaze turned over towards Freya who had been knocked off her feet by her own fiance, Keelin. She was still under the spell. Wiccan glanced at his aunt, turning his attention away from the witch's to help the Mikaelson witch out.

Marcel and Klaus stood back to back as a herd of vampires crowded them.

Blood was splattered everywhere, the clouds had taken the sun hostage as the sky was dull and grey. Thunderclouds plagued the atmosphere above them. There was no getting out of this.

Wanda pursed her lips before extending her hands that were enclosed with her chaos energy, "Like hell I'll let this happen."

The older witch smirked as another beam of power went straight at her, she raised her hand to absorb it but instead was pushed back. With her brows furrowed, 2045 Wanda stumbled slightly.

The younger witch glared at herself, "I'm not going down without a fight."

"So be it."

The older Maximoff rubbed her palms together before extending them outwards, she grinned as she threw the chaos energy towards the Mikaelson's.

Wanda's eyes widened as she moved quickly, the witch landed in front of Klaus and Hope who had been the two targets of the blast. She held her arms wide and created a protective shield from the beam of magic.

Klaus let out a relieved sigh seeing the red head. Wanda grunted as she pushed the blast back and let out an unsteady breath before turning to glance at the father and daughter, "Are you alright?"

Hope gave her a small smile, "Thanks to you."

Wanda nodded firmly before wincing at the headache piercing her mind. The witch grasped her head and stumbled slightly. Klaus reached out for the red head in worry, "Wanda?"

The Maximoff held her hand out before straightening up once again, "I'm fine."

Hope narrowed her eyes at her aunt, "Are you sure?"

Wanda nodded, "Be careful out there." she turned to leave but Klaus called out to her, "Be cautious, Wanda. My daughter's going to need her aunt."

Wanda inhaled sharply as she watched the hybrid who had become the person she could always rely on, a weary smile tugged her lips. "Thank you, Nik."

The witch turned and blinked, she extended her hands and flew up into the air. Ready for another fight with herself.

"Dad-"

"I feel it too."

Hope frowned up at her father, "That can't mean anything good."

Kol let out a yell of frustration as he plunged his hand into a female's heart before ripping it out. "I am so bloody sick of these menaces. They just don't give up!"

Elijah pursed his lips, "Well, it's not as if they're being controlled or anything."

"Funny."

Rebekah grunted as kicked another werewolf to the ground, "Kol's right. They will keep coming if we don't eliminate the source of the threat."

Elijah glanced at his sister, "And how do you suppose we attempt to kill a witch that could end our existence with a mere snap?"

Kol frowned as he continued killing any creature in his way, Rebekah furrowed her brows, "I don't know."

Adira had her eyes tightly shut as she attempted to reach into Keelin's mind to free her from the spell. The mutant smacked herself in frustration, "God! This isn't the first you try to mind control someone, stop being a baby and just use your powers. You know you can do this."

"Careful there, Adira. People will begin to think you've lost your mind." Klaus teased the young girl making her glare at her uncle, "Shut up."

"Is that anyway to speak to your elders?"

"Considering you're supposed to be dead, yes."

Klaus lip's parted as faked a hurt expression, "You wound me."

"If you don't keep an eye on what's coming at you, then you'll know what a wound is."

The hybrid turned to see a car door being lunged at him, the original quickly caught it and let out a breath seeing it mere centimeters from his face.

Adira grinned before closing her eyes once again, "You're welcome."

Klaus scowled at the young girl before plunging the sharp end of the door into a wolf's whimpering body.

Marcel gripped a vampire's neck and yanked harshly as it's head fell to the ground. Wiccan noticed a witch begin to cast an infliction spell on the young vampire and focused his attention over to them as he raised his hands, creating an energy forcefield around the witch and launching her into the sky.

Marcel panted as he gazed up at Wiccan, "Thanks."

"Now what kind of nephew would I be if I let my uncle get killed?" Wiccan raised a brow. Marcel couldn't help the chuckle that escaped him, "I'm guessing we're close in the future?"

Wiccan gave the vampire an amused smile, "Well, considering you used to change my diapers and spit up-"

Marcel's feature's scrunched up, "Too much information" he said before speeding after a wolf that had begun to stand up again.

Freya tiredly slacked onto a little corner as she caught her breath, she couldn't remember the last she had to use so much magic at once. It draining her, and quickly.

Kol glanced over at his Wanda to see her kneeled before the elder witch, the young Maximoff was enclosed in her own energy webs and whimpering in pain.

The vampire sped quickly and kicked the red head with all his strength. The older witch grunted as she tumbled onto the floor. She turned towards Kol and narrowed her eyes at him before raising her palm.

The original vampire began to choke up blood as he felt something grasp his heart and squeeze it. Wanda smirked sinisterly as she walked up to him, "It's amusing to see you fight for someone who isn't even worth it."

Kol wasn't able to mutter a reply as he gasped for breath, the pain in his chest grew as the witch tightened her magic around his heart. He coughed up a violent amount of blood and the younger witch rose up from the ground.

Wanda summoned up her powers and sent a powerful beam towards the other witch that caused her to tumble through all the debris surrounding them.

Kol fell to the ground and he desperately grasped his chest as the pain lighten up. Wanda rushed over to her soulmate and threw herself before him as she cupped his face in her hands, "Are you okay?"

"Well, that was a nasty sensation." the original croaked out. Wanda sighed in relief before wrapping her arms around his neck.

Kol felt a small smile grace his lips as he returned the gesture. He gripped her waist tightly, not wanting to lose the feel of her warmth.

"I'm going to fucking kill myself." Wanda harshly muttered near the younger Mikaelson's ear. Kol let out a humorless laugh, "If it wasn't for the fact that you had your literal self before you, I'd be very concerned."

Wanda rolled her eyes as she pulled back and smiled brightly while gazing into his eyes. Kol searched her sea green eyes and seized the opportunity. The vampire leaned down placing his lips softly on her own.

Wanda held back a guilty sob as she desperately clung to him. The witch poured everything she felt into the soft and sweet moment as she tugged their soulmate bond from her mind. She loved that should could feel every part of him, from his body to his mind.

Kol felt sadness surge through him, he didn't like the way Wanda was caressing him. As if it would be the last time she ever did.

The witch pulled back and smiled softly, "I love you, now and forever more."

"Why are you saying it like it's a goodbye?" Kol furrowed his eyes. He saw the red head's eyes flash with sadness before voiding her face of any emotion, "Just a reminder." she muttered before sweeping his hair to the side. She knew how he adored whenever the young witch played with his hair.

Kol gripped his lovers forearm, "Wanda-"

"I don't mean to interrupt, but this is a battle field. Not lover's square."

The two soulmates turned to see the elder witch gazing at them, Wanda's glare hardened as she rose from the ground, "I never thought I would get so annoying."

"Oh please, I find you to be dreadful. So young and naive. Pitiful, really."

Wanda opened up her hand as her energy webs decorated her palm, "All I hear is muffled voices sorry, I didn't quite get that."

2045 Wanda clicked her tongue in annoyance, "You know, if it weren't for the fact that if I kill you, I will also cease to exist, I would have ended your miserable life hours ago."

Wanda's lips parted in realization, bingo.

The younger Maximoff felt her headache rise to an unbearable amount, the witch was willingly letting the voices in. She had given up on fighting back, and for that reason she was getting stronger. Her magic was unleashing itself, she was done holding back.

Adira felt herself finally getting somewhere when she was suddenly yanked up by the neck, the girl tried to pry the hands of a seething werewolf off of her but it was useless. The mutant desperately thrashed in his hold as she could no longer breath, she gasped horridly while clawing at his hand.

Klaus heard his niece's whimpers and dropped the vampire he was holding to speed after her, the hybrid felt anger bubble up in himself as he caught sight of the wolf.

He gripped the male's forearm and began to squeeze until it's bones were in pieces. The werewolf stumbled back in pain as Adira fell to her knees while coughing harshly.

"No one touches my niece and lives." Klaus angrily muttered before stomping his foot in the man's chest. Blood splattered everywhere and he grinned, satisfied with the scene.

Adira stared at the ground as she began to breath normally once more. Klaus turned towards her and inspected her condition.

The hybrid clenched his fists as he noticed a bruise begin to form on the girl's neck. "Are you alright, love?"

"Thanks uncle Nik."

The hybrid softly smiled at the young mutant, "Of course, Adira. Try and stay safe, please."

The brunette nodded in agreement and watched her uncle speed away to help her aunt in a bloody fight with vampires.

Rebekah uppercut a wolf in the jaw and grinned happily at the cracking sound it made, "Music to my ears."

"I think," Elijah muttered as he ripped an arm off a body leaving it in his grasp, "You're going to have to rethink your definition of music, Rebekah."

Wanda grunted as she was hit with another gush of power, she needed to give herself some time to perform the spell.

She grunted in annoyance before sending a powerful ray of her magic towards the elder witch. The older Maximoff groaned as she didn't deflect the hit quick enough and was sent flying through a few walls.

Wanda took the opportunity and shut her eyes as she recited the spell in her mind, once it was done she could finish it all. She could finally end this.

The younger witch shouted in fear as a body suddenly crashed into her, she peered open her eyes to see herself looming over herself with a sphere of chaos energy ready to hit her.

The witch moved quickly as she attached her fingertips to the temples of her older self and reached into her mind.

2026 Wanda glanced around as she realized she was now in the older Maximoff's mind. Her eyes widened as she saw the same scenery, it was herself, chasing after Rebekah and Adira.

Wanda cringed as she saw the same thing happen as she remembered, she had staked Rebekah. The red head sucked in a breath as her older self used her magic to rip out Adira's heart and fling it into her grasp.

Wanda blinked and suddenly she was seeing everything from a first person point of view, but she furrowed her brows mentally as she watched the dead body before her.

Just a second ago it was Adira that had been killed but now seeing it in her own eyes she saw Agatha Harkness, sprawled onto the floor.

2044 Wanda stared blankly at the dead body before hearing footsteps arrive. The witch turned to see her son watching her in horror.

Wanda tilted her head in confusion, shouldn't he be happy she had finally rid them of the witch that had kill Kol?

The red head frowned at his terrified expression and glanced back down at the bodies and gasped, she could now see it. It hadn't been Agatha she had killed.

It was Adira and Rebekah.

The witch dropped the heart in her grasp and began to breath heavily, she was sure it had been the dark witch she had killed. The voices in her head told her it was Agatha.

No.

Had she truly killed her own daughter? Her last friend?

Wanda watched as tears welled up in her eyes, her son rushed over to the body of his twin and let out a stifled sob.

Wanda's lips parted, she had done it. She had finally proved herself to be a monstrous creation.

The Scarlet Witch.

A damned witch.

Wanda gasped as she was thrown out of the memory. The older witch glared down at herself but the younger Maximoff moved quicker as she surged up her powers and sent it at the elder red head.

Wanda watched herself tumble onto the ground, "Why? Why would you make it look like you purposely killed your own daughter?"

Wanda stared emptily at the ground as she remembered that horrific night, "What difference would it make?"

The younger witch gaped at herself, "Are you seriously asking me that?"

"I still killed her."

"It was an accident. Your mind made you hallucinate that it was Agatha Harkness. It wasn't your fault."

The darker red head scoffed harshly as she rose up from the ground, "If you're trying to console me, don't. I don't care for meaningless words or emotions."

"Please, if you could think clearly then you would see there's another way to fix all of this. You just have to see that." Wanda was pleading herself to see another way. She didn't want to resort to her own idea.

"No. I'm happy with how I currently am."

"You're not a good liar."

Wanda grit her teeth, "Enough. I'm not listening to this nonsense." the witch extended her palms and sent a gush of her power at the red head.

The younger Maximoff witch gulped nervously as she realized there was only one way to end this. "Please." she tried for the last time.

Her older self narrowed her eyes and stood tall, ready for another fight.

Wanda's gaze flooded with sadness as she turned towards her family, she frowned seeing Wiccan fight side by side with Marcel and Hope. Klaus and Elijah were taking out a pack of wolves while Rebekah and Kol were in a fist fight with what was left of the vampires.

Wanda had completed the spell, everything was set. She just needed to muster up the courage to go through with it.

She glanced at her older self, "There was once a time where I wanted to stop waking up in the mornings, and now I'm scared." she let out a breathless chuckle, "I'm scared of dying."

The older witch's eyes went wide with realization, "You wouldn't."

"Oh, but I would. Especially if it means my family lives."

The darker red head scoffed, "You're bluffing. If you kill yourself, Wiccan and Adira will cease to exist. You wouldn't do that to your own children."

The younger witch grinned, "Don't tell me you've forgotten what your own powers can do? I can rewrite reality, and with a handy dandy spell..."

Her future self pursed her lips, "You rewrote them into this timeline, didn't you?"

"Correct. Meaning, they will stay here healthy and alive."

The older Maximoff grit her teeth, "Never thought you were one to make the sacrificing move."

"I will when it means my family is safe. I already lost Hayley, I'm not losing anymore people."

"You really are a pain." the witch grit through her teeth.

Wanda smirked cunningly before quickly summoning up her power to beam it at the older witch. The darker red head quickly held up her hands as she shot her own blast, the two's magic met and it was like a game of tug of war.

Kol ripped apart the last vampire in his line of sight and finally turned to look for Wanda, he had heard what she told the other witch. There was no way he would allow her to go through with it.

The vampire sped making Wanda mutter a curse, she released one hand from the current beam she was shooting at herself and created a barrier that pushed Kol back.

"Wanda, do not do this." The vampire shouted as he tried to push against the magic.

"I have to." the woman he had to come to love with every fiber of his being whispered out. Kol felt his heart drop at hearing such words leave her mouth, no. Please, no.

"We can find another way. Just, please. Please think this through. Think about who you would be leaving behind."

Wanda smiled sadly, "You all would be alive."

"At the cost of what?"

"One life."

Kol gaped at his lover, "One life? You would be giving up your children, your niece, my siblings who think of you as one of their own, and me your fiance. We were supposed to get married, live our lives as a happy family. Give our children the childhood we never had."

Wanda felt a lump form in her throat as she remembered she still wasn't officially a Mikaelson, and now she never would be.

"I'm sorry."

"No, don't say that. Please, I can't handle the mere thought of losing you. Don't make me grieve you all over again."

Wanda watched with torn eyes as her soulmate began to cry before her. She was the only one he would allow to see in such a weary state.

The red head sighed softly as she felt her heart crumble up at the words that were about to leave her lips, "We were always meant for a goodbye. Deep down, we both knew it. We just wanted to believe otherwise."

Kol's lower lip began to tremble as he felt completely hopeless. He would never openly admit it, but he knew she was right. All those dreams of losing her, watching her die, watching himself live on without her, they were warning him.

This was the end of the line.

"Please." Kol begged one last time. Wanda smiled, she gave him the brightest smile he had ever seen grace her lips. Just so that it would his last image of her.

"I love you."

Wanda turned her attention back to her older self, she grit her teeth. The red head pushed her magic with all the power she had left in her, the darker red head was pushed back and Wanda seized the opportunity as she picked up a large shard of glass.

Kol's eyes widened in horror.

No.

No.

It happened.

The world slowed down for Kol Mikaelson as his whole universe came crashing down. Eye's wide and lips parted, he watched the great Scarlet Witch take her last breath.

Kol cried out towards their bond, he gripped his end of the line. He held on for dear life.

The line became loose, and he watched bond that once connected them, disappear.

Wanda Maximoff fell to the floor, dead.
