..,..

SILENCE. UTTER SILENCE plagued the heavy atmosphere in the hidden loft. Klaus sat with his hands holding his head as Freya held a sniffling Hope.

Elijah was tucked away in a corner, attempting to contain his composure, he had lost his wife. The one person he had finally been able to give his last name to.

Rebekah's lips were tugged down in a frown as Marcel held the vampire close to himself. Wiccan sat on the couch with his head resting against Adira's.

Wanda stood tall towards the center of the room with her arms crossed and expression unreadable. The witch felt guilty, it was her fault the hybrid had died.

"What are we going to do?" Adira soft voice echoed through the room finally putting an end to the eerie silence that had once resided.

Freya glanced at her niece, "That's the question isn't it?"

Wanda pursed her lips, "We need to put an end to this, this madness cannot go on." Klaus' voice spoke up but the hybrid didn't bother lifting his head, "And how do you suppose we do that? Go out there and risk our lives once again?"

The red head frowned at her friend, "Nik-"

The hybrid abruptly stood and finally met the witch's eyes, tear stains scattered his cheeks. "Hayley is dead!"

Silence fell over the Mikaelson family before Klaus continued.

"Your other self made it very clear there was no way out of this for us. They won't stop until we are all dead."

Elijah finally stepped into view, "My brother is right. I see no solution to this."

Hope let out a hiccup as Freya tightened her grip on the tribrid. Kol walked over to his soulmate and slipped an arm around her waist for comfort.

"We have to do something. Like we said before, we can't just hide away for the rest of eternity." Rebekah spoke up as she glanced around the room.

Hope's lower lip trembled, "If we go out there, one of us is bound to fall too. This cycle won't end until it finishes us all." the tribrid croaked out as a single tear rolled down her cheek.

Wanda stared blankly at the ground, she hadn't want it to come to this, but she was left with no choice. "Neither of you have to die. I have a way to fix all of this."

The Mikaelson family all turned to glance at the Scarlet Witch. "And just how do you plan on doing that?" Freya raised a curious brow.

Wanda pressed her lips into a firm line, "Leave that to me."

Adira watched her mother when she saw a familiar glint in her eyes, the same glint Kol had before he had killed himself for Wiccan and herself.

"You're planning to die... aren't you?"

Wanda glanced back at Adira with wide eyes, "How-?"

Kol furiously turned towards his soulmate, "What?" Wanda took a deep breath, "Kol, I need you to-"

"No, don't you fucking dare tell me to listen. I won't hear a word about you planning to kill yourself. Absolutely not, I won't allow it."

Wanda's gaze hardened at her fiance, "Well it must be a shame that I wasn't asking for your approval."

Kol gaped at the witch, "You've actually lost your bloody mind. I will not let you do this."

"I'm not asking you."

"I am telling you that I will do everything in my power to make certain you don't go through with this."

"It's the only way, Kol-"

"There is always another way!"

"No! No, there isn't. You fucking know this. You just don't want to accept it."

Kol's lips parted as a torn expression flushed through his face, "Why?"

Wanda pursed her lips, "Hayley is dead and that is my fault."

Rebekah shook her head as she jumped into the conversation, "No, you can't blame yourself-"

Wanda turned to gaze at the blonde with an incredulous expression, "Can't I? It was my fault this all happened. I was the one who casted that spell on all the supernatural in this city-"

Freya cut in, "That wasn't you you."

"It was still me! I was still responsible for her death and now I've left Hope without a mother. I did this."

The tribrid sucked in a sharp breath, she lifted her gaze to meet her aunts, "My mom wouldn't have wanted you to blame yourself. Please don't."

Wanda frowned as she watched the young girl, "I have to make this right. For her."

"Killing yourself isn't making anything right." Kol scoffed, inside he was trembling in fear. He was horrified at the thought that he wouldn't be able to convince her, he couldn't lose her. Not again, not again.

"Do you think I want to die? I want to live, to see our kids grow up." the witch glanced at their twins who were watching their parents in fear as the mother continued, "I want to see them fall in love, make mistakes leading me to lecture them, I want to be there for all of that. But there's no other way." Wanda clenched her fists, "I will do everything in my power to end this vicious cycle."

The family watched the witch take a deep breath.

"We can find another way. I won't lose someone else dear to me." Klaus pursed his lips as he gazed at Wanda with determination. Elijah nodded in agreement, "We are here to help."

The Maximoff shook her head, "I won't have you all risk your lives."

Kol gaped at the witch, "But it's alright for you to risk yours?"

"I created this mess. I am simply trying to fix it, but I won't take anymore of you down with me."

Kol took a step towards the witch, "Wanda, I plead you to think this through."

"I have." Wanda glanced at her children and frowned seeing the twins look so torn, she glanced back at her lover and frowned, "We are out of time, Kol."

Adira stood up from her seat and held a pleading expression, "You can't do this, please mom. Don't leave us."

Wanda gazed over at the mutant and frowned, "I have to pay for my actions. I don't wish for this to be the way but I don't have a choice."

Wiccan stepped into his sisters side, "You taught us there was always a choice."

Kol gripped his lovers hand and stared into her enchanting emerald eyes, "You have a choice, and all of us," the original gestured over the Mikaelson's who all smiled at Wanda, "Will be right here to help you."

Elijah held a kind expression, "That's what families for."

Rebekah nodded in agreement with her older brother, "We stick together."

"No mater how much of a pain we are for one another." Klaus added as he stood by his daughter.

Wanda felt her chest tighten, she adored this family with every fiber of her being. "You all took me in as one of your own, for that I will always be in your debt."

Freya frowned, "Don't say it as if your saying goodbye."

"I made a promise to always stay by you and I will honor that." Kol firmly stated as he gazed at his soulmate. Wanda softly smiled at the original, "I will be eternally grateful that you've been at my side all this time, Kol, but I need to take these last few steps on my own."

"No-"

But the vampire couldn't continue as an unexpected blast hit the loft, the windows burst broken and Wanda gripped her twins as she threw herself over them instinctively.

The walls crumbled down and the witch winced feeling shards of glass pierce her arms. Freya yelled out as a piece of plaster fell onto her lower half, the witch muttered a spell to reduce the pain and tried to keep her breathing steady.

Klaus had his arms wrapped around the tribrid as Elijah stood from the ground before coughing at the debris that plagued the atmosphere.

Kol squinted his eyes as he glanced around for his kids and lover.

Wanda grunted as she rolled over, the witch felt a throbbing pain in her shoulder. Rebekah glanced at her friend and scurried over to her. Adira's eyes widened as she saw a large piece of glass plunged into her mother's shoulder.

Wiccan rubbed his eyes and blinked away the blurriness before joining his sister and aunt.

"Auntie Bexs-"

"I've got it." the blonde muttered before ripping out the sharp object making the witch gasp in pain. Rebekah sank her fangs into her wrist as blood began to flood out, she presented it to Wanda but she shook her head.

Wanda ripped a piece of her T-shirt off before bundling it up and pressing it against the wound. She winced and sucked in a sharp breath.

Elijah and Klaus were on the other side of the room pulling up the wall that had fallen on Freya. Marcel placed a hand on Hope's shoulder silently asking the girl if she was alright with which she responded to with a simple nod.

Kol rushed over to the twins and Wanda, the vampire saw her bandaged shoulder and worriedly glanced in her eyes. He grabbed the witch's hand and pulled her up to her feet, "Are you alright?"

Wanda nodded, the glass hadn't been able to pierce her too deeply so she would be fine without vampire blood, she didn't want it. Kol instinctively pulled the girl to his chest holding her. Wanda couldn't help but relish in the warmth her fiance was providing her.

"Did I pick a bad time?"

Wanda quickly turned as she met the gaze of her own eyes. The Mikaelson family stood defensively as Kol pushed the twins behind Wanda and himself.

Klaus stood tall with Elijah and Marcel at his side as Freya held Hope at her side.

"You're really starting to piss me off." 2026 Wanda grit through her teeth making her older self smile smugly, "That was the plan."

"Your business is with me. Leave them out of this."

The older witch sent her a fake frown, "I'm afraid I can't do that since they are the whole reason we are even here."

"You want a fight? I'll happily give you one." the younger Maximoff growled out making the other red head grin widely, "Oh?"

"Let's finally finish this."

"I was hoping you'd say that."
