..,..

HAYLEY WALKED up to the second floor to where all the coffins of the Mikeaslsons lay. The hybrid opened Elijah's coffin to see the vampire slumbering.

Hayley leaves the room and goes to where Hope was coloring in a notebook, the two heard a vehicle suddenly approach.

"Is that her?" Young Hope asked her mother.

"Let me check. Stay inside." the hybrid told her daughter.

Hayley walked outside where a truck was parked. "Well, now, aren't you a sight?" Mary said to her.

"You're sure no one followed you?" Hayley asked.

"I've been avoiding trouble since well before you were born. Now, where's that little girl?" Mary replied to her.

"Did you find it? Mary, please. After all this time, I am this close to getting them back. I found a cure for Freya's poison, I got a witch to siphon Rebekah's hex. I couldn't do anything about losing one person in my life, I'm sure as hell not letting that happen again." Hayley told her.

"So you're really gonna do it? Cure 'em and then wake 'em up? Did you ever stop to think, Hope might be better off without 'em?" Mary asked the hybrid.

"I made a promise." Hayley responded.

"To who? To Elijah?" Mary asked.

"To my daughter. I promised her a home where she would feel safe and protected by the people that love her. Mary, she's a Mikaelson, too. She's inherited all of their enemies and a power that I don't understand. She needs someone to teach her to control it. I can't do this on my own." Hayley told the women.

"You told me to wake the Mikaelsons you needed to find all seven werewolf packs. You found six. The last one, the Malraux, I thought they'd been killed off. According to this, there might be one left. Hayley. You looked for five years. You found nothing. Suddenly, I get word of a lead. What if someone else found it, too? What if it's a trap?"

..,..

Hope came outside to where her mother and the woman were. "Do you have to go?" the young girl asked her mother.

"I do. But I'll be back very, very soon. And I won't be alone. I'll call you every night before bed, okay? In the meantime, you listen to Mary. Deal?" Hayley told her only daughter.

"Deal." the young tribrid responded.

"Keep your guard up. Stay moving. You smell trouble, you run. Those folks back there, they had plenty of life. What you need to do is stay alive for your little girl." Mary told Hayley.

"Everything I do is for her."

..,..

Hayley arrived at a bar in Austin Texas. "You look like you're having fun. What's the occasion? I just finished my residency, which makes me an official ER doctor. Congratulations." the hybrid told the female werewolf.

"Thanks," Keelin replied.

"Does it help with the guilt, given what you are?" Hayley asked her.

"What did you say?" the werewolf asked.

"Keelin, you need to listen to me." Hayley said to her.

"How do you know my name?" Keelin asked suspiciously.

"You better back off. Right now." Keelin scoffed as her eyes flashed yellow.

Hayley flashed her eyes as well, "I wish I could. I need a favor. Five minutes. Outside. I can explain."

Keelin and Hayley leave the bar and, taking advantage, Keelin elbows Hayley in the face and takes off. As she is coming over a fence, Hayley is already there.

"Don't do that again." the hybrid said.

"I'm not going without a fight." Keelin told her.

"Would you relax? I'm not here to fight you. I need you. You're the last of your pack. That makes you special for reasons that are too complicated to explain." Hayley said to the werewolf.

"I don't care about your problems." Keelin said.

"You should. Because there are others who know how important you are. And they will come for you." Hayley responded.

"Look, I have a life, a career, and relationships. Someone tries to take that, they're gonna have to kill me." Keelin said.

Inside the bar, glass shatters and Hayley can hear a man threatening staff.

"Where is she?" the man asked.

"I'm sorry. We don't have time for this." Hayley said as she knocked Keelin unconscious.

..,..

Hayley arrives at an old warehouse with Keelin. "Relax. I'm not your enemy. If I left you where you were, you'd be dead already."

"Let me guess, we're on the run from vampires? You have the same stink they do."

"I'm special. I'm a hybrid. Half-vampire, half-werewolf. And considering that I saved your ass, you should show me some respect."

"How do I know you weren't the one that led them to me?"

"Does it matter? They know who you are and they want you dead. The only way to survive is to do exactly what I tell you." Hayley said as she grabbed something like a mask.

"It's not like I have a choice. Hey, look, I don't know what kind of pervy stuff you're into, but I am not that kind of girl." Keelin said.

"This is a device to extract your venom. And before you ask, yes, it will hurt."

"Why are you doing this to me?" Keelin asked the hybrid.

"I'm trying to save my family. Keelin, the people in there are dying. The only thing keeping them alive is a sleep spell, and the only one that can cure them is her. She's a witch, and she left me instructions on how to wake her up early. The only thing I'm missing is your venom. Once she gets on her feet, I can give her the ingredients I got. And, with any luck, no one has to die."

"So if I give you what you want will you let me go?" the werewolf asked.

"You have my word."

..,..

Hayley took the mask off after receiving a vile of venom. "You got my venom. When do I get to go?" Keelin questioned.

"As soon as I know it works." Hayley responded.

"And when will that be?" Keelin asked.

"Believe me, you'll know when you see it." the hybrid replied.

"You have to wake up Sleeping Beauty, right? How do you do that?"

Freya's coffin laid before the two, "You know you ask a lot of questions." Hayley said.

Hayley stabs Freya in the chest with a syringe to cure her poison and to wake her up early. As she comes to sit up, she gasps for air.

"Freya! Are you okay?"

"Did you get the ingredients?" Hayley nods "Good, I need to begin. If I can't turn all that into a cure, Elijah and Kol are going to die." the witch announced.

"How much longer do we have?" Hayley asked her.

"Maybe an hour. Assuming they live that long." Freya answered.

"Do you have everything we need?" Hayley questioned.

"Venom from the seven packs, along with Klaus' blood. Infused by my magic and magnified by the Dark Objects. It's going to take all of my strength and more than a little luck, but it should be enough to fashion a cure to save my brothers." Freya explained.

"Should? What do you mean should?" Hayley asked.

Hayley's super senses alert her to vehicles approaching. "We got company." the hybrid said.

"Hayley, let me go, please? If it's vampires, they're gonna kill me." Keelin said.

"They must have been tracking her. Hayley, I need more time."

..,..

Freya is kneeling on the ground within a seven-pointed star. The seven vials of venom are outside at each point while five dark objects are within five points of the star. In the center a mixture of the venom and Klaus' blood. Freya chants the spell.

"La candidat au somme la toxique cantus, La candidat au somme la toxique cantus, La candidat au somme la toxique cantus..."

A vampire comes for Keelin as she struggles to get free from her bonds.

"Close your eyes, you blood-sucking punk-ass."

Freya waves her hand, causing the vampire to flinch in pain and collapse to the ground as her pain infliction spell is magnified by the dark objects.

"You just-? You waved your hand and his brain melted?" Keelin asked, impressed.

"Well, that's what happens when people annoy me." Freya shrugged.

"Ooh. Your bite is nasty. But you're outnumbered. Give up now and we'll end this quickly." the man said.

Hayley suddenly appeared, "I have a better idea" Hayley turns into her wolf form. She attacks growling and snarling as she kills the man.

Freya takes the anti-venom and rubs it on Elijah's forearm. Hayley transforms back into her human form. "You want more? Come on!"

Injured vampires are getting back up as an unknown force continues to kill them as Hayley watches on. Elijah walks up behind her and gives her his jacket.

Hayley looks at Elijah with disbelief in her eyes yet a smile on her face, Elijah gently grabs the side of her neck and pulls her in for a long awaited kiss.

The hybrid pulls back and embraces the older Mikealson in a hug.

..,..

"Let me go. I gave you people what you wanted." Keelin told Freya.

"I barely had enough to make the anti-venom. If any of my family are ever bitten again, we'll need more. Which means we'll need you alive. Count yourself fortunate." Freya said to the werewolf.

"We had a deal."

"You had a deal with Hayley, not me. My family already lost one person, I'm not losing another. When it comes to my family's safety, I don't negotiate."

..,..

Elijah is burning all the dead bodies.

"And they say romance is dead." the vampire said.

"I'll take it. Your infection is gone." Hayley replied.

"You saved us. All of us. I guess Kol and Rebekah couldn't contain their hunger." Elijah said, shaking his head.

"Elijah, after all this time, I..."

"Me, too. Now, please tell me how my niece is?" Elijah asked her.

"She's amazing. She's healthy. Happy. She's the perfect little girl. And she made me promise that one day she'd get her family back." Hayley said.

"Not all of us." Elijah said as he thought about Wanda.

"I told her about Wanda, how she always took care of her when she was just a baby and saved all of our lives." Hayley said, looking up at the sky.

"There's not a day that goes by that I don't miss her. I saw her as a younger sister, and she made Kol happy. As an older brother that meant plenty to me." the Mikealson said.

"How's Kol doing?"

"As always acting like he's okay, the only person he's even talked to about it is Rebekah." he told the hybrid.

"She saved us multiple times, Elijah, and the one time she needed saving we weren't there." Hayley said.

"And that will forever haunt me." Elijah replied.

"We're missing one more person." Hayley said changing the subject.

"Then let's go get him."

..,..

Kol sat by a tree as he had heard every word spoken by his brother and Hayley.

"It's hard isn't it." Rebekah said as she appeared beside her brother.

"What is?"

"Having someone by your side for so long then one day that person is taken from you and all that's left is their absence." Rebekah said.

"Hit me right where it hurts huh beks." Kol chuckled lightly.

Rebekah laughed, "I miss her too."

"It won't leave my mind." Kol said.

"What won't?"

"Her body was basically decaying... Every time I close my eyes I see her crying and saying she loved me. How does one cope with that?"

"Eventually you learn to live with it."

"I don't want to live without her. Ever since that day it's like a part of me is missing." Kol told her.

"Live for her then, she saved you Kol, her dying moments were all to save you." The blonde said.

Kol twirled with a chain he had around his neck that held a ring.

"Never got to propose to her either huh?" Rebekah asked as she recognized the ring as the engagement ring Kol bought years ago.

"No"

Kol clutched the ring in his palm, he sighed and stood back up, "Well, Nik ain't gonna rescue himself."

Rebekah chuckled, "No he will not, especially not with that ego and Marcel in the same room."
