Chapter 1
"Now, let's get started."
***
The sound of the whistle. Tip-off.
The opponent's team sent out their tallest player, standing at 187cm with Mizushima only at their neck 165.
"This isn't the right place for you, kiddo." The opposing team teased but she ignored their sarcastic remarks. They weren't good enough to be viewed as her equal.
Fweeeee
The whistle was blown. The ball was tossed into the air.
The opposing player took off, his hand stretched out for the ball but in midst air, it disappeared, leaving only a blur of its orange color behind as it curved downwards and whizzed past all the other four players in zigzagged lines.
Several smudges of indistinct shapes, a lean black color of a fabric and a vaguely round orange molded together into one next to the rim of the hoop. A player wearing a black hoodie which covered 'his' eyes smashed the orange basketball into the hoop in one swift motion, 'his' hand seemingly to outstretch and curve into the net.
If only those watching knew it was actually a girl... how shocked all of them would be...
To be beaten by a 'her', in this sexist world of sports... *sigh*
Once the ball went past the hoop, the figure casually rested 'his' palm against the rim of the hoop and pushed 'himself' away, 'his' body tilting backwards until 'his' head was towards the ground. Then, Mizushima Ai turned back around after doing a 360 degrees flip and planted her feet on the ground, her hands in her pockets.
And her eyes beneath the hoodie finally opened.
"This is insane!" She muttered with a dangerous self-centred grin etched onto her pale skin. It was perfect, the perfect power she needed to beat them... the generation of miracles. She could see the court in her head, she could see a path of light laid out in front of her, leading her to the hoop in the shortest way possible... all in her head. Her eyes stayed shut the entire time.
What would the bonus of sight bring her? Some even more ridiculous abilities?
Silence.
Except for the bounces of the ball that had just been slammed into the hoop and landed on the floor...
All of the eyes watching widened with shock, how... how is that humanly possible?
Whoosh, in the different parts of Japan, six figures' bodies tensed as a chill was sent down their spine.
They all felt it, the generation of miracles and Kagami Taiga, they felt the door to their prodigious world being opened once again, just like the time Taiga did a lane-up. But only, this time, it wasn't being forced open as if someone was struggling to get into this new world of basketball.
This time, it was opened with delicacy, not brutal force. The figure stood tall at the entrance, the whole world seemed to bow down before her as the gate/door made way with respect for this prodigy.
Curious of this brand new sight, the prodigies moved in sync, gathering at the place the streetball tournament took place in the quickest possible time. With some of them rushing there from Akita and Kyoto.

By the time all six plus one Kuroko Tetsuya, the unique phantom player got together, it was several hours later and the tournament had already ended. In disappointment, they were about to leave together but something, an incredibly intimidating light appeared before them, glowing a dark blackish color. A tainted color of hatred.
Searching through the crowd, the hoodie-d figure caught their eye. She was dressed in all black. But still, after spending two years together, no matter how she tried to disguise herself, how much her aura had changed or just in general, how different she was, her former Teiko teammates knew...
In fact they knew when the door was cracked open...
That...
She was back
