Lou was going to his wife (Lupa's) grave when he arrived he saw Cole lying bleeding in front of it

He must have been hit by the trap
Lou had attempted to put traps wherever Cole was likely to go

He didn't want to have a ghost for a son
But he knew that he couldn't leave him so he took him to a nearby cave where a creepy healer lived and left him there

At home

It was Nyas turn to shout at Cole she had alredy done it but she had more to say. as she opened the door she realised Cole was gone. She called the others in.

They had a look round and on a desk they found a note

I am fed up whith you shouting at me!
I am going to leave for a while
If i am not back in two days something is wrong
Knowing my luck a water trap will have hit me.

"That was random"said Jay" usualy he would leave a code"
"Hate, Cole!!!!" said Kai " that doesn't sound like him"

"Yes" said Zane "he always ends his letters whith from Cole.
And the handwriting is to neat"

"Something is wrong" said Lloyd

The cave

The healer came from the back of the cave and looked at Cole
They stiffened when they saw his ghostyness and chuckled

Cole woke up later and looked round. or he tried to at any rate
He could see nothing. He remembered the water hitting him in the face and sighed. he felt his face and noticed bandages

Then someone came in "whos there" Cole said
The healer was surprised he was awake. he must be tough.
"A healer" he replied "who found you outside his cave"
"Is that why I can't see" said Cole "we're in a cave?"

" I'm afraid not" said the healer " it would seem you are permanently blind".

Cole flopped back and asked " who are you? "
" I am snowlis " she said " and I will tell you my story "

I was born 34 years ago in a place called st bede isle
I lived whith my parents until I was 11. Then Chen came.
He burnt the houses and enslaved the children.
I later found that my parents were systematically murdered
I was Clouses apprentice and he taught me magic.
But when I became 14 I saw flaws in their teachings
And I escaped from the Island and came here to heal people
Using magic I have been here ever since.

"I never knew there were people there before Chen" said Cole
"We are now few" said snowlis "but we hate chen with all our blood"

"Could you mend my eyes whith your magic"? Asked Cole
" no " said snowlis and she left.

At home

"It's been a day" said Nya "still no sign of Cole".

" he will be back" said Jay " and when he is back I'm going to smash him to dust!!!

There was a knock on the door.
Nya opened the door and Cole was there.
"Cole"!! Shouted Nya "I've been so worried" !!
And she hugged him "stop" said Cole "Lloyd will be jealous"

" yes" said Cole "I meant Jay" "I'm going to bed" he walked into Kais room "Cole" said Jay "thats Hotheads room"
Cole went into the correct room

"Is there something wrong whith him" said Zane at dinner
"Its his turn to cook" I'll go tell him" said Kai he went to Cole's room "your ment to cook this evening" said Kai Cole came out and made dinner.

"This tastes OK!!!" Said Jay " something is wrong with Cole!! "
