~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peter ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I'm sorry, but I haven't seen Peter for some time now. I-I'm not even sure where he is." May said softly, giving the young stranger a convincing sad look. Vaughn would believe her if... well he was you know, a mind reader.
"Ma'am I know he's here. I tracked him back to this location along with his husband Wade Wilson. I need to speak with them if you'd allow me to." The shifter responded, giving a small, cute smile. He looked close to Grey's age but  May believed he must be a few years older to know Peter. (Oh but of course she wasn't aware he was about as old as her own father. Age obviously isn't a reliable source within this fic. With one main immortal character and three ageless mortals and a snappy hybrid that was equipped with a healing factor that surely would show signs of slowed aging in Peter's future. Age is irrelevant as is time.)
"I'm sorry, but you just be mistaken." May said firmly, ready to close the door.
"May. Peter Parker is standing just on the other side of this wall. He's listening and has just realized my identity as Vaughn. I an a telepath and also one of the last surviving Palewing nationality of my race. Besides myself there is a second purebred by the name of Max, a Nightstar, and as you've seen Grey is a hybrid between our two breeds. It's the reason he's subject to silver scales. Your favorite color is also green and you thought your husband had no sense of design when it came to decorating." The shifter continued. His small rant was his way of being exasperated without being direct about his annoyance. Most weren't as Rostand against his powers. She simply wouldn't believe him and it was a tad bit annoying. He was already agitated with Max's behavior earlier and on top of that he was just generally moody this week anyway.
"It's find Aunt May. It's Vaughn. He's not a threat. He can actually help us."
Finally. Someone agreeable. Vaughn was a very helpful person. He smiled appreciatively at Peter as he was allowed to enter. His smile faltered as his mind immediately reached out to touch the minds of the two males up stairs.
How on earth Peter hadn't heard the conversation Vaughn just missed he'd not understand. With the arachnids hearing he- oh right. Plot... gotchya
"Peter, May. Can I speak with Grey quickly. There's an important matter that needs to be addressed and I'm afraid neither of you are wanted for the time being. I mean that in the best of ways, but this is a personal mater and I believe Grey would prefer to understand before I explain anything to you." Vaughn said quickly, voice rushed as he glanced between them with wide violet eyes.
They eyes struck May as startling and beautiful and she found herself unable to  say no to them after Peter agreed. If her nephew trusted him then she would also. That by no means didn't mean she wasn't suspicious or wary of the stranger rushing up to her second son put into her custody by family.
"It's related to our health Mrs. Parker. I assure you. Along the lines of er... private stuff." The shifter faltered awkwardly, voice obviously uncomfortable.
Peter raised and eyebrow at him, wondering what exactly he was talking about and if it involved wade.  "Maybe I should come up. Just in case." Peter suggested, taking a step forward.
"No, no that's fine. I assure you, I can send Wade down if you'd like but Grey might want him there instead? I honestly can't tell yet. Please Peter it's-"
Vaughn paused again. Girl stuff? Boy stuff? Omega stuff? Who knows. It's private stuff. He'd go with the simplest and nom confusing answer.
"-Omega stuff. You probably won't want to be around for that conversation honestly. I'll be as quick as I can I promise." Vaughn said, not giving them time to agree before finding the stairs and going towards the sounds of Grey and Wade speaking quietly.
When he knocked on the door both were silenced before Wade came and cautiously opened the door. His gaze was lower, obviously expecting May or Peter though his eyes only met with a green sweatshirt.
"Hi." Vaughn greeted before ducking under Wade's arm to er into the room. He couldn't help but stop to stare at Grey a moment. It was a shock to see someone change so quickly in such a Short time. He was expecting it obviously but it was still mind boggling.
"You." Grey said, according Vaughn of being that fellow whine couldn't quite remember. "Where's Max? I need to talk to her."
"I know, I know. Don't more Grey, I'm here. It's all going to be okay. Max won't be of much help here Anyways. I've never really explained it to her beyond the simple 'we can get pregnant but we're boys.' " Vaughn said as he approached Grey who had sat up. He didn't keep his distance, sitting down next to the much younger omega.
"Are you sure?" Grey asked. He wanted Max, but he trusted Vaughn. That's what mattered here.
"Yes Grey. I'm the only one who can answer your questions." He'd tell Wade tie. He wanted Grey to have someone else too.
He tired to ignore Peter's lonely jealously from downstairs at being rejected from Grey. His mind still was swirling around the idea that he was unwanted.
Maybe he'd tell Peter so Grey would include him?
