"Wade I'm sorry." Peter says backing away as his soulmate approaches him. Peter doesn't make eye contract with the mercenary. Too ashamed of himself and his burden on Wade. "I-I dint mean- well I did, I just-.... Wade I'm sorry." Peter stutters as he visibly shrink down when his mate stands before him.
Max etched silently with a stoic expression as she watches what's going on. Finding the arachnid's new behavior odd. Periodically considering Abuse from the mercenary to draw such a reaction from Peter but is shortly corrected by her resource.
"Peter." Wade sighs. He sounds tired. More then the for thy he had just shortly been woken being let of the factor.
Oh how the tables have changed. Peter himself used to be so used to the idea of being the one in charge. Or maybe not on much the one in charge as he was the one who was the support. He helped Wade through what ever happened to be bothering his Mercenary. The boxes used to be the most common. They would whisper lies into Wade's ear. Giving him self doubt and sorrow.
And then Peter snapped.
He may not he voices. But he dangerous. He's considered more dangerous then Wade by S.H.I.E.L.D.s' standards. More unstable. They had never to Peter's know large had to lock up Deadpool. Didn't distrust him enough to have to lock him up in a room for a year because the man proved himself too unstable to be around and humans. Wade wasn't given a baby sitter. He wasn't tracked all day and watched.
They trust a well known Mercenary more then Spider-Man. The youngest avenger being too much for the world to be exposed to for the sake he couldn't control himself. He couldn't control himself from literally being blood thirsty. Having the urge to kill.
"Peter. Look at me." Wade says calmly. Reaching or to grasp Peter's thin shoulders.
Peter had stopped eating as much again. Sure he was 'feeding' and getting the needed extra nutrients to make it possible from him create his own silk once again and in general improved all of his abilities. But with such an advanced metabolism the periodic feelings can't keep him full. He needs the extra food to survive, only he wouldn't eat. He's eat in front of Wade when his mercenary offered but he didn't feel hungry. He doesn't want to eat. He just wants to stop. Stop all of this. He wants to stop this killing. It doesn't make him a hero. It's what makes him just as bad as any of the many criminals he'd caught, only to be too late to save the victim.
He looks up at Wade. Ashamed that the mercenary was better then him. Peter killed anyone he wanted because he had the excuse of an instinct he couldn't control. Wade decided who he took out based on their crimes and his own judgment. Peter hadn't bothered Wade on the subject after he had first brought it up during their first patrol. He knew better then to be objective to wades profession because of his own Hero morals. After what had happened with Ben's attacker, MJ, and a few unlucky passerby's before he had completely fell over the edge he knew he want incident either and didn't have an excuse to say he did the acts with a moral reason right in anyone's mind. He killed for revenge, and simple self centered wants.
He's not a hero.
"Let's go home." Wade says exhausted.
Peter doesn't say anything. He just ducks his head and pulls down his mask to cover his lower face again. He sends one more guilty glance with the other two before being led back towards Couples shared apartment.
Nothing more needs to be said between the two Assassins as the pass each other. The shifter staying to draw information from the scene for what he needed to turn in to S.H.I.E.L.D.. She would bring it to Tony first. Tiny was Peter's safest bet. Stark may be able to protect Peter in some way from being locked up again. He could help Peter somehow perhaps?
Despite the disagreement between the billionaire and the arachnid a year before Stark still kept Peter under his wing. Even more so after he was informed of who Spidey was after Peter was contained. Only Tony, Steve and Bruce knew of course. The only ones who needed to know. The others knew Peter's face but not who he is.
They walk home. In the shadows of course. Far or of sight. They are silent most of the way until Peter finally speaks, too shameful and distressed to remain silent anymore.
"I want this to stop. I wish it would end." He says quietly.
Wade grabs his hand. Peter doesn't miss the small flinch Wade has with doing the action. Peter remembers his worsening sores.
"I'll figure something out Peter."
"No. Wade this is my fault. It should be me. I'm so sorry for brining you into this. I wish it didn't both you. I used Y be able to hide it. I used to ignore it all together. I had trained myself. And then that man had to- I had to just...." Peter looks back down at the ground.
Wade steps in front of Peter, stoping him in his tracks. "Peter."
Peter looks up at Wade. Looking into the eyes of his mask.
Wade takes Peter's arm, sliding off the glove of his left hand before taking it and holding it up where they can easily look at it. His hold on Peter's hand his gently and sincere as he looks at his spider. "I put this ring on your finger because I knew I loved you. I knew I needed you as much as you needed me. I did it knowing fully well what I would be dedicating myself to and I have no regrets. Peter I was there for you by the end, and I'm going to being there for you until the end. When I got down on my knee in front of you I was asking to make your problems my problems too. Peter, we are one. There is nothing I want you to think you need to do alone and there's no way I will willingly allow you to do alone because you are mine to take care of." Deadpool says looking down at his Spider. "Please don't tell me your sorry for bringing me into this. I wanted to be a part of this because this is a part of you. You are my soulmate, I will do anything for you Peter."
