Max

Mercenary is on the roof of their apartment building, I'm looking for the Spider.

"They do have names." Max says as she swerve around a random water tower on top of an old building. He glanced back at it with a bit of a frown as she continues forward. She tuck her wings in, as she sucks through an alley, the width far to small for her wing span before snapping them open to make a sharp corner the moment she's far enough out of the narrow Passage.

Your lucky you're able to remain in a human form with your wings.

"Yes. You pointed that out about yourself enough times when you were here next to me. I haven't forgotten." She shifter says. "Do you have anything on Peter?"

No we're still looking for him.

"We?" Max questions in a rather monotone voice.

Her friend doesn't respond resulting in an annoyed sigh from the shifter. Her wings angle forward as she back-peddles carefully to slow down. Her landing well calculated as she golds in her wings, trying to avoid hitting the mercenary with the long, webbed limbs.

'Information on Peter would be great right now'

"Where'd you last see him?" Max asks her wind twitching in agitation.

Well he hasn't killed anyone yet.

"Vaughn for Christ's sake, of all people on the world I would know that." Max snaps, clearly not in the mood for funny business.

Wade only blinks once before getting on to the point he had been almost to before the shifter had interrupted him.

Not that you were listening to him.

'Shut up.'

"Last I saw of him was in the apartment. He was gone before I could see where he'd went."

Four blocks north, seven west and continuing that direction by webs. He's tracking but hasn't decided on a set victim get.

'Thank you.'

"Follow me, we're going north west. I'll be ahead, trying to track him down."

"Gotchya." Wade says before taking off in the direction. Using the roof tops of the many buildings.

Doesn't wait to turn around and take a step of off the building. Falling in a short dive. It's always easier to start flying this way. Her wings are easily strong enough to start from a standstill but with her large twenty six foot wings span it simply was hard due to lack of space In a city. Even rooftops having too many obstacles often enough she didn't do much for running starts.

Her wings snap open and they easily catch the air, stoping her five quickly. She picks up speed, a gaining a large distance between herself and Wade as she cuts through the air in the direction of Peter.

He's chosen someone.

An ocean of dark blue emotion washes through the dragons mind. The meanings of alarm and disappointment. She would be far too late. The person would be dead before she got there.

....you're going to have to turn this in.

"He's going to be taken again."

You can't keep lying to them.

"But I'm doing it for Peter and Wade."

Why?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peter ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Peter eagerly sucks the warm blood from the person under him. The metallic taste like heaven on his tongue.
He had found this man trying to lure a child to follow him home. Peter had chosen wisely. This was someone would could be spared from the world. Of course that Haden't been on the arachnid's mind when he'd first chosen. He had decided on a random, healthy looking male walking along the street but once he saw this one his instinctual response as a hero was to save the child while is other instinctual half wanted something, anything to hunt. This was Peter's combined answer to the problem.
Peter growls when he hears the sound of wings.
"Peter."
The spider only responds with s glare as he continues to suck on his preys wound. He hopes she doesn't take his kill... But if she does, she knows the rules. He has every right to defend what's his if its threatened to be taken by another predator. An instinct they both have.
Max much to Peter's disappointment doesn't bother his kill, remaining a safe distance away. She takes out a cell phone, making sure to stand within each other's sight.
"Yeah found him. Tall Red building."
Peter pulls away from his prey, having had his fill. He listens to the shifter speak, relaxation dawning on him as the alter personality starts to fade away and allow his whole mind to function under the singular Peter Parker and Spider-Man ego.
He looks back down at the person under him. Immediate guilt washes over the arachnid as he realizes she's calling. He also takes a moment to mentally smack himself for being such a dick to the shifter who had done so much for him. Peter liked her as a person, but he couldn't understand exactly why he hated her so much at the same time. Maybe it has something to do with them nothing fully being or partially of a whole different mindset. Having instincts humans don't have. Maybe that's why he doesn't understand why he doesn't like her particular, it's because he can't comprehend it.
"--street. No? Take a left. Where are you?"
The arachnid looks up. Wade's going to be disappointed. Going to give him that look. The look of frustration and disappointment.
Peter moves away from the body, wiping away and blood that could be on his face.... He wishes he wasn't such a burden
