By the least Peter could say he had a much better idea of how to hide ones identity within a crowd then Captain big A....
Peter glances over at a fondle within what he had discovered to be a mall he had never been aware existed before. Not that it was unusual to not know places in New York. It's s big city. The reflective glass shone back the image of what could be mistaken as a older high school girl.
Peter wasn't sure whether he wanted to thank Wade or chuck his make-up bag at him when he wasn't looking. He had surprised himself with his skills being he had only ever only watched Wade put the stuff on when the other was either bored or dressing for Peter.
The arachnid had a display of darker hues of Purple for eye shadow, a corresponding shade of lip shit he had found in the bag, having also copied the application of foundation and blush for the fact he wasn't sure how to apply bronzer or any of the other weird powders or liquids in the bag.
His hair was long enough to pass as a shorter pixie cut and he had obtained a dark colored light jacket to which he pulled the nylon hood over his head sorting by its lonesome. Pontufe no longer hid within his sweatshirt for the fact he had left it in place of his new thin jacket, having her walk next to him like the good little cat she is, trotting next to him in her baby blue harness and matching leash. He found it odd that he hadn't been yelled at for having a cat in the building but he was near the pet store with a iced coffee while leaning against the wall.
He watches as a few agents walk past feeling confident with his new look as he turns the opposite way. Towards the exit before stoping into the pet store to pick up a carrier or something for his cat because he isn't going to web her up again mainly because he didn't have any more of the liquid that degraded the webbing with him.
Peter's comes back out with a stupid red purse with his cat nicely stuffed inside with her head poking out where there was a dip for such sight seeing.
Seeming content with the new situation as he quickly hurries out of the mall before dipping down an alley after walking a good block. He walks through the streets of the Big Apple until his feet hurt, the duffle bag strap is digging into his shoulder, and an apartment building in front of him. Glancing around to make sure no one is looking he quickly readjusts his cat bag before scurrying up the wall.
He isn't sure what apartment was the one he's hoping to find so crosses his finders when he enters through the window of a particular empty one. He notices the smell of clean cut grass as he steps in, finding that idea weird as he shuts the window behind him.
Max never told him where the new apartment was and he never asked Wade if they had one so here he was, hopefully standing in Max's home.
He really hopes he is. He can't stop doubts slither into his mind as he looked around. He had never noticed the smell of grass on her before. He could totally be in the wrong place.
Pontufe squirms in the bag wanting out. He can't do much as she wiggles out of his grip and plops down into the floor.
"No get back here." He acorns when she Scampers away from him just as the door opens. Peter freezes in bus stance as he looks at the person. He's both relieved and more so anxious as he sees the utterly pissed look on the familiar face.
"Who the hell are you?" She instantly demands the moment her grey eyes land on him as her hand edges towards something at her side.
"No it's me!" Peter says quickly while pulling down the hood not that it's very direct way of letting her see who he is.
Max recoils slightly in confusion at the masculine voice coming from the female in front of her before putting two and two together and resisting the urge to smile despite her dark mood.
"Peter?" She asks unsure.
The arachnid glances away, a true blush coming to his face. "Shut up,"
"Peter." She says making the arachnid look back over at her. He realizes to late the phone pointed at him, the dark case disappearing while held in front of her dark clothing. He tries to quickly snatch the device away but she proves her claim of having just as fast reflexes as the arachnid when she pulls it away and puts it out of his reach. "Anyway. Why are you in my apartment?" She asks all seriousness returning as she sets her mind to understanding the situation. Her eyes flash down to the cat- ... purse on his shoulder before cracking a Smile again despite herself. "And what is that?"
Peter flushes further as he sets down the smaller bag, allowing the duffle bag to fall too before looking at the ground in shame. "I screwed up."
Max falls quiet making a quick ground about to observe her new guest. "What happened."
"Someone caught me on cam on one of Wade's jobs. I didn't listen a few times ago and I hunted instead of letting him do it." Peter says.
"Last time you're the one that shot them weren't you?"
"I know, I know." Peter cringes, slightly mortified with that awful move he had done. "This is an earlier one. Maybe the beginning of the month." He says.
Max shook her head, standing strait with her arms crossed behind her back in a solider stance as she looks at an opposite, empty wall.
"Peter...."
