~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peter ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The arachnid is nervous as he rides the elevator up to the Lab he worked in for Mr. Stark. The area was no longer a safe place where he could forget about his night time life. Now his work with the avengers and such topics was a common conversation subject.... When Banned wasn't present so was Peter's issue brought up.... Banner had left last Friday after they went their separate ways for a trip to a third world country Peter couldn't think to remember it's name.
"Welcome Mr. Parker." Friday greets in her automated, polite voice.
"Thanks Friday." Peter mumbles as he exits the elevator. He walks over to the laboratory door, using the touch screen to enter the puzzle like code before the door unlocks for him. He opens the door and let's himself in. Walking strait for a small area of counter he had claimed as his own little personal area. He sets down his messenger bag talking out a few folders on some alien bacteria he has been studying the past week. Truly odd organisms.
He's for the moment alone in the room. Having all the instruments and science technology that he adores all to himself for the moment.
He walks over to a wall pressing his thumb to a scanner to unlock the drawer containing the Petri dishes containing the foreign bacteria. He are fully grabs a small plastic tub of multiple dishes filled with the same organism. He carries it over to a micro scope he had left out from Friday. He sets down the small tub and takes out a dish marked 203-3EF.
He just starts on his work of observing the bacterias' reaction to being exposed to other organic mater such as a leaf. Over the weekend the organisms had almost completely encased the leave in a odd almost glass looking casing.
"Peter."
The Spider jumps at the use of his name, quickly looking up at Stark with a highly attentive gaze In between surprise and a look of nervousness.
"Sorry." Tony says suddenly conscious that Peter did indeed have extremely acute hearing.
"It's alright," Peter says setting down his pen. (He's a risk taker like that. Writing with ink)
"You busy?" Tony ask.
Peter glances at his work wishing he could say yes but he couldn't lie. This wasn't something that he had to continue working on because it would disperse in a few minutes not was it a reaction of possible danger at the moment.
"Not really." Peter says.
"Good. I need to talk with you." Tony says gesturing for the spider to follow. Peter swallows once, nervousness and guilt quite apparent as he follows the unofficial adoptive father before walking after the shorter man. They exit the lab to walk down the long hallway glass being the complete side wall to the left of the passage way displaying Tony's shop and work area.
They walk past, opening a door to reveal stairs Peter wasn't aware existed in the building. They walk in silence, the arachnid so well known for not shutting up finally haven't nothing to quip about due to his nerves.
He reaches in his pocket his hand finding the tiny stuffed Deadpool kept there. He holds it gently in his hand, keeping it hidden by moving it to his lab pocket where he can more easily hold it.
Tony noticed the movements but doesn't comment. He had helped Max with contacting people to create personalized characters for Peter. Very few of them had been from an actual store. The shifter had been quite generous to the arachnid. A trait Tony quite frankly had never imagined existed inside the creatures soul while he was around her while she had lived with the rest of the avengers.
"So..." Peter finally says. The silence feeling worse then the actual cover satin that was to come.
Tony takes a breath before looking at the young Man beside him. "You're not getting better at controlling yourself. You've actually been getting worse."
"I know." Peter says looking down. "It's just.... It's a new second nature that I can't shake. When I try it just Strangles me more."
"Why can't you stop it?"
"Because I want to do it. Well I don't want to but it's an instinct to need to. I can't object to it because I know it's good for me. Just like you know you need to get up in the morning but you feel completely content to lay there the rest of the day. Or how guilt I feel when interim food say knowing that somewhere in the world someone would be willing to risk their lives for some of it but you throw it anyway." Peter says still not looking at the Billionaire.
Tony looks at Peter in slight surprise. He personally had never considered looking at things in that way. Throwing something way like a small chunk of meat would be worth dying for and you don't bat an eye when it's gotten rid of for the fact you just don't want it. "You're a great kid Peter. You really are. You're a real hero-"
"No I'm not." Peter snaps. "Don't call me a hero. I pretended to be one for a few years but that's not what I am."
"Sure you are. Spider-Man is a hero," Tony says.
"Spider-Man eats people." Peter harshly points out.
"It's a hiccup that can be fixed Peter. I'll help you."
"I always thought killing was bad. But here I am, doing it with less consideration of what Wade gives a rapist." Peter says, attacking himself. He doesn't mean to say it out loud.
"Spidey, it'll be okay. I can create the iron man suit, I can help you. I'll start today." Tony says opening a door.
Peter only just notices that they are in the medical wing. He follows Tony to a fridge sort of looking thing in the wall, passing a nurse on his way by.
Tony gestures to it. "Take what you want."
Peter looks at Tony in confusion before opening one of the doors. His eyes going wide as he see the many labeled blood packets. He looks to Tony in shock.
"For now you can take some, I'm working on finding away to get a steady supply for you. I'm hoping this will help."
When Peter doesn't respond, just staring at him in shock Tony once again gestures to the presented offer.
Peter doesn't have to be told a third time before taking the bag with the most appealing smell.
It just so happens that package belonged to Wade. Some from a donations be would give often for body organs and blood every two weeks when it worked with his schedule.
Tony lets out a puff of air. It would make this all that much easier now that Peter had chosen that one.
