~Two~(I Just Love Putting Them Through Hell, Huh?)

~Third Person P.O.V~

Izuku could feel it. The weird vibe the clouded his normally carefree home, tainting it with its mysterious aura. Something was definitely wrong.

It all started when he woke up that morning, his body was still sore, the gashes that ran along his flesh were beginning to heal quite nicely. He felt numb, which seemed to be how he usually felt all day everyday at this point.

The house was fairly quiet, yet he could still hear faint whispering coming from downstairs. His mother was angrily shouting in a hushed tone, every now and then she would stomp he foot- causing a loud thump to echo throughout the house.

He stopped at the last step, swaying on the edge of said step as he watched his mother with exhausted curiosity.

She was by one of the recliner chairs, her phone held tightly flush against her ear. "I don't care! Run the tests again there has to be some mistake-" There was a pause. "Well- well yes but-" Another pause as she growled. "I don't know can you just, please run them again?" Her voice went softer at this point, she nervously chewed on a lock of emerald hair. "I understand." She sighed, tossing the small device onto the couch in anger.

"Mom?" Izuku spoke up, startling Inko by the sound of his hoarse voice.

"Hi honey, how're you feeling?" She asked, already pulling him into one of the recliners.

"Fine," Izuku whispered, "Who was that on the phone?"

Inko froze, gnawing on the inside of her cheek in hesitation. "That- that was the doctors who took care of you in the hospital. Your lab results are back..." Inko worded nervously.

"And?"

She sat down on the coffee table, facing him as she leaned her forearms on her knees- taking his hands into hers. "Well, everything looks fine now. But...they uhm- they found some troubling things in the results." She breathed out.

"What is it, you're kind of scaring me mom." Izuku chuckled, cocking an eyebrow.

"They found the MAOA gene in your blood stream. It's a rare type of gene- your father had it as well, it's often linked to violent crimes." She muttered loud enough for him to hear.

"I- I'm sorry...what?" Izuku scoffed, not knowing how to comprehend what she said. "Your joking right?"

Inko wetted her lips, never breaking eye contact with her son. "I really wish I was honey, you can look it up- you do show most of the symptoms. I'll drive you up to the hospital to get you a copy of the paperwork if you'd like." She fretted, soothingly rubbing his legs.

Izuku fished his phone from his pocket, already going through the symptoms. "Behavioral abnormality...aggression...anxiety, social anxiety...depression." Izuku sighed, chucking his phone right next to his mothers on the couch.

"Wha- what does this mean? Is there a cure for it a- a treatment?" Izuku asked, after skimming through some articles he knew this wasn't good.

Inko cringed back, sucking in a breath through gritted teeth. "The program has a-"

"No." Izuku interrupted, his expression hardening as his eyebrow twitched. "I'm not going back there."

"Izuku I know you just got back but-"

"I- I don't want to go back!" Izuku exclaimed, his breathing quickening.

Inko sighed, shaking her head as tears welled up in her eyes. "I'm sorry baby, I've already booked you a flight for tomorrow when the results came back in the first time." Izuku got up, pacing back and forth in the living room.

He was pissed- livid. He didn't want to go back there, he liked it here where he was- this is his home. Who does she think she is? Ripping him away like this, and when he just got it back too.

"Mom- mom please." Izuku pleaded, gripping onto her shoulders.

"It's just for a few months- I swear, if it were for more than that I wouldn't have done this. They started a new treatment over there for patients with the gene, so far its been working. I swear...just give it three months- that's it!" Inko gasped, her vison blurring with salty liquid.

Izuku let out a soft whimper, shaking his head 'No' repeatedly as tears flooded his freckled cheeks.

She reached out to him, but he harshly pushed her hand away- swiftly grabbing his phone and backing up slowly as he reached for the stairs behind him. Once his foot felt the surface of the first step he bolted up, charging through his room and slamming the door behind him- throwing caution to the wind and locking it.

(If I did some shit like that my mom would beat my ass XD)

He quickly pulled open his contacts, scrolling until he found Himiko's.

"C'mon please pick up, please pick up." He muttered, bouncing his leg up and down as he chewed on his thumb.

"Hello?" He heard her bubbly voice whisper quietly on the other end.

"KoKo- oh God it's so good to hear your voice, look I don't have much time. My mom- she's uh, she's sending me away...back the program." He sniffed, angrily wiping the tears that betrayed him with the sleeve of his hoodie.

Himiko was currently in the bathroom at the warehouse, when she seen Izuku's collar ID she gave in- not liking the whole 'Not talking to him until further notice' rule. So she was trying to be as sneaky as possible.

"What?!" She said, a little too loudly, "She can't do that why is she-"

"I don't have time, I leave tomorrow- look, I don't know what I did wrong...but will you tell Shoto and Katsuki I love them?" Izuku whispered, his bottom lip trembling as he tried to hold everything in.

"That's...you didn't do anything wro-" She was cut off when the door to the bathroom swung open prompting her to freeze.

Izuku's breath hitched as he heard Shoto's voice on the other end. "Togo, who the hell are you talking to? We need you downstairs." He sighed tiredly.

A soft sob broke through, not being able to handle much more of anything Izuku hung up. He leaned his back against the dresser, allowing himself to slowly slide down onto the carpet below. Another sob coming out, followed by an irritated scream- hot tears flooded down his cheeks as he shut his eyes tightly.

He just wanted to wake up- to wake up and let this all be a nightmare.

But he knew it wasn't.

It was reality.

--------------------------

"You fucking idiot!" Himiko screamed, punching Shoto in the side of his head.

"Ow- what the hell is wrong with you?!"He growled, his heterochromatic eyes gleaming with anger.

"That was Izuku dumbass! You left him there- you left him with his mom and now he's- not he's..." Her breathing was starting to become erratic as her eyes swelled with tears.

Shoto has known her long enough to know what was happening- she was having a panic attack.

Swiftly, he scooped the smaller girl up in his arms, trying to calm her down as he ran into one of the rooms where Mina was.

"Hey Todo- Baby? Babe- what's wrong?!" Mina panicked, taking the blonde into her arms and pulling her into her lap.

"It- Izuku...he's- he's...program! His mom is...sending- sending him back!" Himiko sobbed, she was hyperventilating by now.

Shoto's eyes widened at her words, his knuckles instinctively balling up into tight fists. "What?!" He growled, already pivoting on his heel to go find his scarlet-eyed boyfriend.

Charging his way down one of the many hallways of the warehouse he finally finds their room, flinging the door open he sees Katsuki sulking on the bed.

"Get your ass up!" Shoto demanded, prompting Katsuki to stare at him with an offended expression.

"Shoto what the fuck-"

"It's about Izuku Kat! He's in trouble, and we have to go get him!" Shoto yelled, zooming around the room looking for a few items.

Katsuki's attention was sparked, he instantly scrambled up- already pulling on his shoes. "Why the fuck didn't you start with that? Let's go!"
