~Ten~(Me forgetting shit from the first book)

~Third Person P.O.V~

Drip. Drip. Drip.

Eyes continued to flutter open only to shut back together.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

Cold, metal, chains clasped around their ankles and wrists- holding them a few meters in the air. Their bodies limp, and their breathing shallowed.

Drip. Drip. Drip.

The only noise surrounding them was the faint splatter of water droplets coming into contact with the grimy concrete floor. Shallowed breathing soon turned into sputtering and gasping, one of them was slowly waking up now- confused to their surroundings.

Muted whimpering clung to their eardrums, coming from the far corner of the room they were being held in.

When their eyes finally opened... they wished they hadn't, God they really wished they hadn't.

But it was too late.

----------------------------

*Two days earlier*

Everyone was gathered in the living area, bodies huddled together as hushed whispering filled the room. Shoto and Levi stood up front, both of them conversing quietly with each other as the other's waited in anticipation.

"Do you know why Sho and Levi called everyone in here?" Izuku asked Katsuki in a whisper, resting his chin on the blond's shoulder.

The carmine eyed boy nodded his head wordlessly, threading his digits through Izuku's jade ringlets.

"Alright everyone, listen up!" Levi announced, causing everyone to become attentive and listen. "After me and Shoto did some digging... it has come to our attention that we have a mole. I don't tolerate moles." He growled, eyeing each person one by one.

"Now there are some of you who are in the clearing, other's... not so much." Shoto chimed in, his heterochromatic eyed swiftly landing on Hitoshi, Mina, and Himiko. "Sorry guys..."

Izuku followed his boyfriends gaze, only to glare when he realized who it landed on. "Bullshit!" He exclaimed, crossing his arms across his chest and straightening his posture. (I'm just waiting for someone to say 'Gayening his posture')

"It's okay ZuZu." Mina smiled, a bittersweet kind.

The three already had a feeling they would be the first to be under close inspection by everyone. They all did used to work for Dabi and Overhaul a few years ago, it only made sense that they would be high profile.

"It's not 'Okay' MiMi... it's bullshit." Izuku sneered, averting gaze with everyone with a low pitched huff.

"Moving along-" Levi sighed, shoving his hands deep in his pockets. "- from now on, we all have a curfew. You may all leave the premises at ten thirty in the morning, but have to be back by nine o'clock. Got it?" He said, cocking up one inky brow.

There were scattered hums and grumbling in responses, after a few moments everyone began dispersing in their own respective places.

Izuku remained where he sat on the couch, arms crossed, eyebrows furrowed, and jaw tightened. He didn't like the fact that his best friends were most likely going to have a target on their backs until the mole was found.

It pissed him off.

"You okay?"

Shoto's calming voice snapped, reluctantly, from his thought- forcing his to look up at his duel haired boyfriend. His facial features relaxed for a fraction of a second, before they hardened once more... going stoic.

"No." Izuku replied curtly, instantly regretting it. "You know them Shoto, they're your right hand men! How could you even think that they'd be the mole?" Izuku huffed, his voice going into a whining kind of tone towards the end.

He almost sounded like a child.

"Of course I don't," Shoto said, taking a seat next to his vexed boyfriend. "But that doesn't mean Levi does."

Izuku rested the side of his face on his hand, his eyes trailing anywhere but Shoto's face. "It's still a load of bullshit if you ask me." He mumbled weakly, his eyes finally flickering up towards Shoto's.

The taller of the two sighed, linking his arm around Izuku's neck and pulling his in. The green haired boy went limp against Shoto's chest, his own arms instinctively wounding around Shoto- breathing in the sweet scent he emitted.

"This is just all so... so much Peppermint!" Izuku whined into his chest. (I lowkey forgot he called Shoto 'Peppermint' until now.)

"I know." Shoto groaned, throwing his head back with an annoyed groan. "God, we all just have the worst luck in the fucking world, huh?"

"Ain't that the truth." Izuku chuckled, shaking his head. "Who do you think it is? The mole, I mean." Izuku asked after a few beats of silence.

"Honestly?"

The curly haired teen nodded, peeking up at Shoto from his eyelashes. "I myself have a few theories... but none of them really add up. You've always been good at these kinds of things."

"I think it's Eren." Shoto mumbled, burying his nose into Izuku's hair.

Izuku nearly choked on his own saliva, staring at the heterochromatic boys as if he were insane. "I beg your pardon?" He sputtered out, letting out a hybrid between a snort and a scoff. "There's no way in hell it's Ren, I can attest to that!"

"'Ren?'" Shoto mused, lifting a frosty eyebrow.

"He's a good friend of mine now!" Izuku argued, already sensing Shoto's rising jealousy.

"Mhm."

Izuku giggled, lifting his hands up to Shoto's face to straighten out his eyebrows. "Please don't turn this into a thing Sho." He whined, only for Shoto to abruptly get up- making his way out of the living area with a devilish smirk.

"I have no clue what you're talking about." Shoto said over his shoulder, Izuku already in toe with him.

The emerald haired boy puffed, trying to keep up with Shoto's long strides. "Where are we going-" Izuku's question died in his throat as they appeared right outside their room.

Shoto burst through the door, finding Katsuki sprawled out on the bed reading a book. "We have a problem Kat." The taller teen announced, successfully catching the blond' attention.

"What kind of problem?" Katsuki questioned, rolling so he was sitting up straight now. ("Sitting up gay now")

Izuku rolled his eyes exhaustedly, placing his hands on his hips. "There is no problem! It's just Shoto being jealous for no absolute reason!"

Katsuki's ruby eyes sparked with blooming interest now, his eyes flicked in Shoto's direction- with questioning eyes.

"I guess he and Eren have gotten close since we've been absent." Shoto said nonchalantly, inspecting his nails as if to remain casual.

"Oh?" Katsuki's mouth twitches, his eyes darkening for a few moments before returning to normal. "Define 'close'." He said through gritted teeth, using air quotations.

Izuku face palmed, staring at the two teens tiredly. "Guys... we're just friends- that's it!"

"He has a nickname for him, he calls him 'Ren'." Shoto informed their blond boyfriend, completely ignoring Izuku.

Katsuki scoffs, ruby red eyes twitching towards the smaller male now. In the blink of an eye, Izuku was cornered against the wall- both Katsuki and Shoto standing on either side of him. Their breaths fanning over him, devilish looks gleaming in their eyes.

"I know that look guys..." Izuku muttered, already knowing where this was going. "Was this just an excuse to make out with me?" He chuckled quietly, only to be pressed on the wall more firmly.

"Maybe. Maybe not." Shoto smirked, his nose instantly trailing down Izuku's jaw.

"Either way you have no proof, but we'll discuss the whole 'Eren' thing later." Katsuki mumbled against Izuku's cheek. Planting a kiss on the corner of his mouth.

Izuku sighed, fighting off the urge to smile as he felt the first of many kisses Shoto placed on his neck. "You two will be the death of me."
