~One~ (I Just Attacked Myself With Angst Now I'm sad)
~Third Person P.O.V~
Izuku sat on his bed, his trembling hands combing through his hair as he kept his eyes tightly shut. It had been a week since they had discharged him from the hospital. Two weeks since he was kidnapped and tortured. One week and six days since he's last talked to Shoto and Katsuki.
Not a text.
No phone call.
Absolutely nothing.
It's not like he could to talk to them at school, seeing as though his mother insisted he take a week off before going back. Now that he thought about it, he hasn't even heard from Himiko, Mina, or even Hitoshi. Izuku at least expected something from his purple-haired friend.
Still, not a damn thing.
There had to be a reasonable explanation to all of this, right? He tired calling them, texting, emailing. Basically every single form of communication there was, yet he received no reply from any of them.
He made up every excuse in the book for all of them, yet nothing seemed to fit.
He collapsed backwards onto the bed, scrolling through his phone to try and fill the boredom he had. Nothing of interest caught his though, he was mostly scrolling absentmindedly- liking a post here and there, but never bothering to see what it was about. The bed felt so cold without the two boys there, so quiet- and damn it he didn't like the silence. He'd give anything to hear their bickering, or Shoto and Katsuki teasing him about his height. The cuddles- God he missed the cuddling like hell.
It pissed him off. Pissed him off that he had no concrete answer as to why their were ghosting him. No concrete answer as to where they were at the moment- what they're doing. Honestly? It scared him a bit.
He knew the basics of what their lifestyle consisted of, the dangers to the life they lived. They could be hurt, or worse...dead.
Izuku knew he was over dramatizing it, just a smidgen, but how was he supposed to know if they were alright?
Inko was no help at all, every time he asked about the boys she would dodge his questions- giving him lame excuses or deliberately switching the topic. It was...shady to him- no doubt there, things weren't adding up and he knew his mother had something to do with it.
Out of frustration, he tossed his phone onto the floor- hearing it bounce around with a muffled thud.
Tick, tick, tick.
That damn clock, it was the only noise that filled his barren room. Its ticking quilting his eardrums, bringing back bittersweet memories of his boyfriends.
It's like every little thing reminded him of them.
Tick, tick, tick.
He shut his eyes, feeling as warm liquid licked the base of his eyes. Izuku tried his best- damn it, he tried so hard not to cry. But it was futile.
Tick, tick, tick.
Clenching his teeth together, a muffled sob managed to breakthrough- betraying him in every way. Honestly, he just couldn't understand why he got no reply from them- maybe they realized he wasn't good enough for them. Maybe they really don't want him.
Tick, tick, tick.
Izuku didn't bother trying to keep it in at this point. Unlike last time these thoughts infiltrated his mind, he gave in. Turning to bury his face into the soft fabric of his pillow he lets the sobs fully come out, gripping at his hair tightly. He was capable of forming only one coherent thought at the moment.
Maybe they really don't want him.
----------------------------------
Katsuki was a mess. He didn't feel like eating, barely got any sleep- hell, it's almost been two weeks and so far he's only spoke a total of five words.
Shoto...he had hope at first, thinking of all the ways they could all be able to see each other again. Talking to him over the phone was risky, too risky- he knew that. Sure, they could both just say 'Fuck it' and answer Izuku's calls, but what good would it do their boyfriend if his mother found out and they both went to prison.
It would break the freckled teen, and they knew it.
After the first week went by, Shoto was out of ideas- nothing seemed to fit well. He was barely holding it together, the only reason why he didn't allow himself to breakdown was for Katsuki- and for the gang.
He was holding everyone together.
Inko had paid them a visit a few days ago, forbidding Himiko, Mina, and Hitoshi from communicating with her son as well.
So that was just great.
The two hadn't been to their own homes since then, Mitsuki and Rei were worried- as to be expected. But...at the same time they weren't, they didn't approve of some of the violent things their sons did- but they knew it was for noble reasons.
They are keeping the drug ring in check in their town after all.
Shoto called to check in on both of them, he had explained what happened with Inko and everything. They were pissed, Mitsuki especially- Rei had so constantly go over to her house to keep the blonde woman from storming Inko's in a blind rage.
Katsuki was currently in one of the makeshift rooms in their warehouse, plucking at the loose strings of his ripped jeans. He missed Izuku.
He missed the way Izuku smiled and his dimples would show, or watching the boy struggle to reach something off the top shelf.
His laugh.
His everything.
The blond knew it seemed like a bit much, at least he still had Shoto- which he couldn't be more grateful for but...it wasn't the same. He had gotten so used to there being three of them, he got attached because in all honesty...he loves Izuku.
And god damn it, he wished he had told him when he had the chance.
There was a soft knock at the door before it whoever it was walked in.
"Hey Kat...I brought you some food- it's take out." Shoto whispered softly, setting the bag down and climbing onto the bed with his blond boyfriend.
He held out his arms, Katsuki immediately crawling into them and curling up. Shoto rubbed his back soothingly, planting soft kisses on his head and cheeks.
"How're you holding up?" Katsuki's voice startled the duel-haired teen for a moment, he had gotten used to the boys newly found quietness.
"As best as I can right now...I just-"
"Miss him? Yeah...me too." Katsuki interrupted, his grip around Shoto's torso strengthening.
It was silent for a few moments, Shoto continued to stroke Katsuki's back- combing through his hair every once in a while.
"Look," Shoto sighed, Katsuki pulling back to hold eye contact with him. "I know it's hard baby- believe me I do, but you gotta eat something. He wouldn't want you to dot this and you know it." He finished sternly, still trying to keep a soft tone with it.
Katsuki groaned rolling his eyes as he falls back onto the bed. "Fine!" He grumbles, reaching for the bag and pulling out the Styrofoam container. "Happy now?" He asked in a sassy voice, however, it was muffled seeing as though his mouth was stuffed to the brim with noodles.
"Well that's just attractive." Shoto sarcastically replied, letting his regular monotone slip through.
For a moment- just one shining moment, everything felt like it was going to be okay.
