~Nine~(Look At Our Boys, Making Up and Shit)
~Third Person P.O.V~
It was a long and exhausting day for everyone. Levi and Shoto were both on edge, the two seemed like they could snap at each other, or anyone for that matter, in seconds. It's not their fault... but at all the buzz of Overhaul being back- it scared them, all of them.
Izuku vigilantly approached his usually calm and collected boyfriend, sitting down next to him on the bed.
"Are you okay?" He asked quietly, throwing caution to the wind and placing his hand on top of Shoto's. He knew how irritable the duel haired teen has been lately, hell, he and Katsuki both got into an argument the previous night... everything was going to shit.
"No." Shoto mumbled, sanctioning his head to fall into his hands. "No Izu, I'm not okay."
"What-" Izuku sighs, angling his body so he was completely facing Shoto's side. "-What makes this Overhaul guy so bad? Look I know he's this crazy drug lord but... why are you all so afraid of him?"
The duel haired teen let out a low pitched scoff. "He and Dabi were... partners, to say the least. When I overthrew my brother that also meant cutting ties with Overhaul- which wasn't easy. Long story short Levi helped and we managed to get him in jail for a few years... now he's back." Shoto stopped in his tracks, not wanting to finish the rest.
Luckily for him Izuku was smart enough to piece two and two together.
"And he has a personal vendetta against you all." Izuku finished with a long huff. "Damn- just when things are starting to look better." He chuckled humorlessly.
Shoto chuckled with him, nodding his head. "Yeah, talk about bad luck huh?"
It was silent for a little while, both of them just sitting and staring off around the room. It was neither comfortable nor uncomfortable silence, just silent.
"You know you have to make up with Kacchan, right? Underneath his tough shell, I'm sure your guys' fight hurt him a bit." Izuku murmured against Shoto's shoulder, glancing up at him from long thick lashes.
"Yeah... yeah I know."

Shoto leaned against the door frame of the indoor gym, watching silently as Katsuki did numerous amounts of pull ups. He wasn't listening to music, which was something he usually did while working out, Shoto could only guess he had a lot on his mind- and music might not have helped.
"Hey." Shoto breathed out, catching the attention of the ash blond haired boy.
He gave his taller boyfriend a low grunt in response, walking over to take a sip from his water bottle. "What do you want?" Katsuki asked gruffly, fighting off the urge to run over to Shoto and apologize- for a fight he, surprisingly, didn't even start.
"To talk?" Shoto said, although it sounds more like a question. He groans, his eyes rolling to the back of his head momentarily. "You know... before Izuku whenever we got into a fight we'd always just let a few days pass before talking to each other. But now- now we have to talk about it."
Katsuki chuckled, catching the inside of his lip in between his teeth- slightly rubbing it. "Yeah I figured the nerd put you up to this." The blond uttered, looking slightly hesitant at first. "He's right though... we really should start talking about these things more often."
"Ouch. How'd that taste coming out of your mouth? Never thought the great Katsuki Bakugo would be able to admit that someone either than himself is right." Shoto said, wearing a shit eating smirk as he spoke.
"Oh, fuck off." Katsuki scoffed, albeit he had a small smile on his lips.
"I'm sorry." The duel eyed boy said after a few minutes of silence. "I'm just- I'm just scared Kat, you and I both know I don't handle fear well. But that's no excuse... I shouldn't have snapped at you like that."
Katsuki grumbled, folding his arms across his bare chest and averting Shoto's gaze- a light hue of pink grazing over his cheeks and nose. "Can we please just hug now?" He whispered, never missing the crinkle in Shoto's eyes when he spoke.
"Awe, you want a hug babe?" Shoto taunted, his smirk from before reappearing.
"Keep on teasing me and I'll put my foot up your ass Shoto!" Katsuki growled, taking a few steps forward.
The taller of the two let out a small laugh, pulling Katsuki in for a tight hug. Shoto buried his nose in Katsuki's blond locks, closing his eyes at the feeling. They both stood there, wordlessly hugging- Katsuki's face placed deep in the crook of Shoto's neck.
"I love you Sho..." Katsuki mumbled, creating small vibrations against Shoto's skin.
"I love you too baby."

Mitsuki and Rei walked to their hotel room in a huff. The two, along with Inko, were now in California- searching desperately for their sons. The search was... well it wasn't anything good so far. Sure, they had been scouring the streets- talking to random strangers, as well as just flat out calling their names out loud.
Yet still no luck whatsoever.
"Suki... how are we going to find them? We have no resources, nothing!" Rei exclaimed, their footfalls thudding against the carpeted stairs of the hotel.
The blonde chewed at her lower lip, as she lets out a defeated sigh. "I- I honestly don't know Rei! God I'm... what if this is our fault- we didn't know that they were apart of this- this criminal activity! How could we have not know?! We're their mothers! We-"
"We did the best we could to raise our children in our own ways Suki." Rei cut in, trying to calm down her anxiety filled best friend.
Mitsuki kicked the wall, angrily glaring at the floor. "Yeah... but obviously our parenting skills aren't worth jack shit! Your oldest son is a murderer who's dead, you youngest son and my son are leaders of a gang! And Inko's son is a little unscrewed in the head!" She growled.
Her scarlet eyes went wide as she realized what she just said, covering her mouth she leans against the wall- sliding down as tears spilt over her cheeks. "I'm sorry... I- I don't know where that came from." She wheezed, her breath catching in the throat.
"It's okay... you're bottling everything up- it was only a matter of time before it all came out." Rei said calmly. She, unlike the other two, has made... peace with her children's decisions. It's hard... but she's just at peace with it.
They hadn't even realized that they were right outside their hotel door, that is until Inko swung it open in a rush.
"Look I know you two are having a best friend moment or something, but I think I just found something... or someone." Inko said in a rush, choosing to ignore their conversation- which she heard entirely from behind the door.
Rei and Mitsuki exchange looks of confusion, following their shorter best friend into their now disarrayed room.
"Inko what the fuck happened in here?" Mitsuki asked, it looked like something out of a detective movie in there. A large board wooden board positioned in the corner, papers and red string covering it entirely. More papers and notebooks were scattered around the large room.
"I did some digging, and by that I mean I read Izuku's more recent journal. It had a lot of incriminating stuff on it, and I was looking at it in a coffee shop. That's when I bumped into the guy there- he was reading over my shoulder and said he could help me for what I looking for. He said his younger brother is in the gang with our boy's." Inko said, her words were rushed as she spoke.
Rei's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she stared at the duel haired boy. "I'm sorry... what? He could be a cop dumbass!" Rei groaned, crossing her arms.
"But he's not." Inko shot back, taking a quick sip of her coffee. "He told me his name and I looked him up- he lived in our city before he moved here."
"What's this guys name?" Mitsuki asked skeptically, raising her eyebrow.
"Kai. Kai Chisaki."
Hello Cricket Cultists!!
Ahhhhhhh. Fuuuuck. Wow- just wow. I hate what I do to myself sometimes guys. You know, you'd think I wouldn't be surprised when I write these things- but I am guys.
I'll just be writing, then I write a cliffhanger or something and I'll just go, "Oh shit... I did not see that coming."
Even though I did, in fact, see that coming.
Until we meet again!!!
