JIMIN'S POINT OF VIEW

"The Grand Prize for the 2018 Spelling Bee challenge goes to, Kim Jitae!"

Jitae walked up to the stage receiving his award. Bowing to the award presenter, the audience gave him a standing ovation, as the hall was blasting with the crowds' clap. Getting off the stage, he went hopping excitedly towards his parents' direction. Taehyung scooped him up as he was giggling happily as his uncles congratulated him.

"Great job, my baby bear!" Jiyeon exclaimed.

"Thank you, mommy!"

"Congratulations, Jitae!" I greeted.

"Thank you, Grandpa Jimin! Don't forget to get me the latest ironman figurine, you've promised!" Jitae teased.

Great, the figurine! Just why did I promised him that?

The shy three year old Jitae, we used to know were long gone. He is now the one of the brightest and bubbly almost five year old kid I've known. Smart kid like his mother, and talented like his father. It's been almost two years since Taehyung and Jiyeon remarry each other. When both Jiyeon and Haebum were around a bit less than three months into pregnancy, Taehyung and his wife held a wedding ceremony for the two of them.

"You are going to be a great brother for these two girls!" Taehyung said as he squished the cheeks of two little girls-- one who was holding her mother's hand and another in Hoseok's arm.

Haebum gave birth to her little sunshine, Jung Hwayoung two weeks earlier than Taehyung's wife, Jiyeon. Taehyung on the other hand, were blessed with a baby girl too, which he named her as Kim Ji-Ae, maintaining 'J' as her initial. Just exactly as I thought, the two of them are wrapped around their little girl's fingers.

"Dada, buh-nuh!" Ji-Ae screamed placing her palm at her cheek, hating her father for pinching it.

Hwayoung was giggling, and clapping her little hands, unevenly, after Taehyung pinched her cheeks. Hwayoung pinched her cheeks herself using her tiny palm. She gave out a high pitched shrieked, due to excitement. Hoseok scrunched his face making funny faces, making his daughter laughed to her fullest. Haebum, too, giggled at the father- daughter duo. Hwayoung tried to mimic Hoseok face but failed. She kept on wriggling in his arms, laughing.

Taehyung can't help but to pinch his daughter's cheeks again making her screamed loudly.

"Nuh!" She said, covering both of her cheeks. She raised her hands to Jiyeon, asking Jiyeon to pick her up in her arms. "Mama." She whined, stomping lightly giving squeaky cute sound from her shoes.

Jiyeon of course had no choice but to pick her up, as she was on the verge of crying. She nestled her head in her mother's neck before grinning evilly, looking at her father who was panicking seeing his daughter almost crying. Looking at her father who was comforting her, she then reached for Taehyung, wanting to be in her Father's arm, pushing Jitae, lightly, with her small finger. "Dada, me!"

Indeed a daddy's little girl!

"Just put me down, daddy. I will walk with mommy!" Jitae told him, proudly. Letting him down, Jitae walked over to his mother, and held her hands after Ji-Ae was in her father's arm.

"Let's go, shall we?" I told them. They nodded as our legs brought us out from the hall heading towards the call.

"Seokjin called me a few minutes ago informing he is ready with the feasts. Yoongi and Jungkook are at the restaurant already." I told them as we were approaching our cars.

"What about Namjoon?" Hoseok questioned. I shrugged.

"Oh, I called him around an hour ago." Taehyung stated, "But, he will be late. He is an hour away."

"Welcome! Congratulations Jitae!" Seokjin greeted us, once we have arrived at the VIP room.

Jitae ran into Seokjin's arm after letting go of his Father's hand.

"You are getting heavy now, boy!" Seokjin told him making him giggled. Squirming and wiggling his weight in Seokjin's arms, Seokjin whined shaking his head. "Is there a huge bowl of sundae ice cream for me; with brownies?" The little one asked.

"Of course I have! It's to celebrate your winning for the year's brightest bee!" Seokjin replied. Jitae raised both of his hands up, excitedly, before encircling Seokjin's neck in his arms.

"Please, take a seat." Looking at us, he gestured us to seat, welcoming us.

"I guess Namjoon will be paying us a hundred dollars again today!" Jungkook smirked clapping his hands.

"Where's Namjoon? Not here yet? Isn't he supposed to be with you guys, since he is the one sponsoring the prize for the Spelling Bee competion?" Yoongi questioned.

"About that—" Taehyung paused, rubbing the back of his head, "—he is not in town. He left his vice to handle it. He is one hour away from town, signing contract." Taehyung answered.

"Again? It's been five times!" Yoongi shrieked.

"We can't blame him. He's been that way since she's missing."

Lynnia was missing a year ago, nobody knows where she is. Namjoon turned into a completely a different person after the disappearance of Lynnia. It's like his flower was taken away from him. Namjoon turned into a gloomy, workaholic person. Enjoying our night out together were never his cup of tea anymore. It was always only the six of us, or sometimes it's only the four of us; since Hoseok and Taehyung are a family man now.

No doubt, Namjoon is a successful man now, gaining contracts everywhere, not to mention collaboration with different education institutions— be it universities, schools, public libraries. We sometimes help him whenever we can, by donating new books, reference books, any sort of reading materials. Recently, Namjoon set up a few libraries outside city, mainly the outskirts, helping those having difficulties in reaching the main city library. He even set up a place, for easy internet access for those living in the rural areas, the place where internet hardly ever existed. Namjoon is always out of town.

We were enjoying our appetizers when the main door was opened, gracing the presence of the long awaited man. Kim Namjoon.

"I am sorry that I am late again; and yes, check your bank accounts." He raised his brows, giving out a long sighed after.

"Thank you for coming, Namjoon." Taehyung told him. Pulling out the chair beside me, he sat down comfortably.

"How was your contract signing, Namjoon?" I started, as he was unfolding the napkin in front of him and placing it on his lap. The others were busy chatting with each other.

"It was great, I got it again!" He gave me a reassuring smile, though he was faking his smile and his eyes showed sadness and sorrow. Patting his back, I smiled at him. He turned his face looking at me, thanking me.

"Thank you for the food!" I thanked Seokjin for the wonderful food he served.

"Not a problem at all!" He replied. We then, say our goodbyes with each other before heading out from the room.

I was about to exit the door, when I heard a familliar voice yelling my name from afar. Turning myself towards the direction of the voice, Namjoon was walking up to me. Rubbing the back of his neck, he was hesitant.

"Yes, brother?"

"I was thinking, could you give me a lift back home; since yours is along the way too?" He grinned before continuing, "— I sort of, telling my chauffeur to take the night off, because of the long day we had."

"Oh, no need to explain, just tell me, I am glad I can help you." I said, shooting him a full teeth smile. Placing my hand on his shoulder, I gestured him to go.

"We shall go now! I am sending Namjoon home and head home myself!" I announced loudly, before they waved their hands towards us.

As we were heading out from the restaurant, Namjoon stopped on his track, eyeing a familliar but oddly different, female figure. The female was wearing a bodycon knee length red dress, acompanied with black strap stilettos, with a short hair halfway reaching her shoulders. She looked sophisticated, with a silver clutch in her hand.

My hands were on the door handle, as my foot was on its way out from the restaurant, when Namjoon turned his heels, sautering towards the female he was eyeing, knocking a few waitresses who was carrying a platter, and also making a few utensils dropped on the floor. I immediately followed Namjoon, trying to stopped him, afraid that he would make a scene in the restaurant.

My hand was about reached Namjoon's elbow, to pull him, but he was faster. He grabbed the female's elbow, making her turned her body, facing Namjoon. She squinted her eyes, confused at Namjoon.

Namjoon smirked at her before uttering the first sentence.

"Nice to see you again, wife."
