Morning soon came around and Daryk was up early, waking up before Theo to make her breakfast and make sure he was okay before going with Aaron for a few days in search of new people.

He made her some toast and coffee and carried it up the stairs.

She was buried under the blankets, still in last night's outfit, her hair tangled and slight snoring coming from the bed, only every snoring after the intake of a lot of alcohol.

He placed the food and drink on the side before lightly shaking her.

"Ughh" She groaned under the weight of her head. The hangover being the first in a long time.

"Morning" He smiled, handing her some coffee.

She sat up, smiling and happily took it before she was handed some toast.

"Are you going to be okay?" Daryl asked

She nodded eating some toast.

Daryl watched her carefully making sure she was okay.

But before he knew it, tears brimmed her eyes as she ate her toast.

He reached out and held her leg. She sighed before he took away the toast, letting her lean on him as she cried.

It wasn't like any other time she cried, where she screamed at shouted, she was usually crying with anger, but this time, she was hurt, she felt broken.

"It's okay" Daryl tried to sooth her as she let out everything into him.

"Do you want me to stay?" He asked, looking at her worried.

"No, it's okay. I'll be fine" She tried to smile, quickly removing the tears that had fallen from her face.

"Theo..." He tried to start

"I'll be okay" She whipped her eyes, i'm going to go out with Glenn i think, they don't need 2 running teams, just a bigger one" She sniffed

"Okay, i'll be back in a few days, be careful, and if you can't sleep don't stay awake, go to your dad" Daryl begged.

He really didn't want to go, but he knew if he fussed over her, she would get frustrated with him.

"Okay" She whispered as Daryl kissed her head before walking away.

He walked out the house and as he hoped Glenn and Aaron where waiting.

"Glenn do me a favour and don't let Spencer anywhere near her." Daryl asked Glenn.

"Believe me I won't" Glenn agreed as Aaron sorted through his bag.

"You seen him this mornin?" Daryl wondered looking around as they walked towards the gate.

"You might be in luck" Aaron pointed at the gate, there he was waiting.

"Don't bring in any attention" Glenn panicked as Daryl picked up the pace, but it was too late for that.

"Hey!" Daryl yelled, Spencer turning, knowing exactly what was about to happen, but stood his ground.

"Hey, Daryl right?" Spencer smiled, but instead Darryl sent a punch flying towards Spencer, connecting his first with Spencer's jaw, knowing him to the ground.

"You touch my girl again, I'll cut of each of your fingers and shove them where the sun down shine, you understand?" Daryl yelled down to the man as he grabbed his face in pain.

"I didn't do anything man" Spencer tried to deny it but Daryl hadn't just heard it from Theo, Glenn witnessed it.

Knowing he was lying, Daryl kicked him in the stomach as he laid on the ground.

"Okay! I'm sorry!" Spencer yelled

"Stay the hell away from her!" Daryl yelled before leaving what Daryl would describe as a pathetic piece of shit before getting on his bike and leaving with Aaron.

Theo soon got up and got ready, making sure she wore the leather jacket.

She started off by walking to Deanna's, where she knew the rest of them were packing up a van to go out.

"Hey" Theo smiled as she saw Maggie and Glenn.

"How are you feeling?" he asked her cautiously

"I'm okay" she smiled "You need an extra set of hands?"

"Of course" Tara smiled from behind Glenn as she and Eugine got into the van

She turned and picked up her own gun before another she was borrowing.

"No bat?" Glenn smiled teasing her slightly.

"Not today" She smiled, picking up her bag.

"Theo!" Deanna smiled as she and her husband walked around the corner to see them leave.

"Hi" Theo smiled a little.

"You're heading out with the others?" She asked

"Yeah, more hands better chances i guess" Theo nodded, she really didn't want to speak to her right now.

"Well look after them" Deanna laughed as Theo got in the car.

"One more thing" Theo looked at Deana.

She smiled at her, waiting for her to talk.

"Keep your dirty excuse of a son as far away as possible from me. Or I won't hesitate to end his life in the shittiest way possible"

And with that she closed the door.

Glenn smirked at her, the reaction on Aidan's and the rest of his families face was priceless.

She grabbed the picture Glenn took of them back at the prison, something she always kept on her now.

"He'll be okay" Glenn rubbed her shoulder

"Just the first time we have been away from each other since we found each other after the prison" She tried to smile, but she was emotional, she worried about him, not because he couldn't protect himself, but in case something went wrong.

Her moment with Glenn was over when drum and bass music began to play through the speakers of the van.

"Oh god" Theo scrunched her nose up at the music, not her type at all.

The car began to move and they were all off to a nearby warehouse after the power went out a couple hours ago.

"Hey Glenn" Theo smiled

"Yeah?" He turned to look at her.

"You know what you said back at the church?" She reminded him. He closed his eyes in guilt and frustration.

"I forgive you" She smiled moving over to him.

"You do?" He asked surprised

"Your my best friend, and i love you, your like my brother and family fights right, so yes i forgive you, i had already but never actually said it" Theo explained

"I love you too and thank you" Glenn smiled as he hugged her.

The journey wasn't long so they soon reached their destination.

Theo got out lighting a cigarette as she stepped out.

"That's our way in" Aiden explained

"Alright split into twos, make sure we have an exit in case things go wrong" Glenn explained

"I know my exit, through the front" Nicholas laughed

"No, we do a perimeter check" Aiden agreed with Glenn

Nicholas' smile soon faded, as he made eye contact with Theo who continued to smoke.

"You got a spare?" He asked

"Not for you i don't" She shut him down, before walking off.

"She not going to wait for a partner?" Aiden asked

"She will be okay" Glenn nodded before walking away with Noah.

"Is Theo okay?" Noah asked

"I think so" Glenn looked at his feet. "You know what i think it is?" Glenn looked at Noah

"What?"

"We finally have a place where we don't have to be on our toes 24/7, we dont have to sleep with one eye open, we have beds and hot water. Everything begins to catch up with you, she probably doesn't realise, but all the death that has come with this world is still on her mind, it's on all of ours, but she's just taking it differently" Glenn tried to make sense of Theos actions

"You wanna know what i think it is?" Noah asked "I don't know everything that she has gone through, but i can just tell, just by looking at her she's been through a lot" Noah began

"Yeah, she has, more than a lot of us" Glenn agreed

"And it has permanently done something to her, the smoking, drinking, harming might not ever stop" Noah tried to explain

"Yeah, so much has happened, some things you just can't go back on" Glenn nodded as they both came to a stop.

The sound of walkers grew louder before they realised that the whole of the front entrance was swarmed with walkers.

"So much for going out the front" Glenn remarked to Nicholas' previous comment.

They all regrouped and got ready to go in.

Glenn smacked his gun against the door before waiting.

"Hang on, this place is big" Glenn stopped Aiden from heading in.

They gave it a few more seconds before moving in.

Using a torch as their source of light they slowly moved throughout the isle.

A distance noise of a large group of walkers could be heard

"They are trapped" Theo whispered to Glenn

"Yeah" Glenn agreed

They continued to walk around for a little while before they came across the walkers, trapped in a metal cage.

"How did you know?" Aiden asked

"We were out there a long time" Tara reminded them

"You pick up on things" Theo sarcastically smiled before walking away

"Your up Eugene" Glenn smiled as he and Tara went to go and find what they came here for.

Noah and Glenn as well as Theo kept close by, making sure nothing was to sneak up on Eugene and Tara.

Nicholas and Aiden took a look a little away from the others but the group all together stayed close.

"We found it!" Tara yelled before a rustling of a box was thrown onto the floor.

"Hey we got a walker!" Aiden yelled as Theo and Glenn walked over.

The walker was in armor meaning a bullet wouldn't do anything.

"Hey it's got armor, let it closer" Glenn tried to explain

But that's when Theo noticed the grande attached to the walkers armor suit

"Aiden stop!" Theo yelled but it was too late, she was thrown across the room due to the explosion and the force of the blast, a bunch of boxes landing on her.

She was knocked out for a few minutes until the voice of her best friend began calling her name

"Here!" She weakly answered trying to wave her arm.

"Here!" Noah yelled as he and Glenn began to lift all the boxes off her.

"You okay?" Glenn helped her up.

"Yeah, just hit my elbow i think" She winced

"Yeah, your bleeding" Noah checked

"Where is everyone else?" Theo asked as she only saw Glenn, Noah and Nicholas in front of her.

"Tara hit her head badly, she's out cold, Eugene is watching her, but Aiden is stuck and somehow alive so we need to help before the walkers get to him" Glenn explained quickly as she followed them to wear Aiden's.

Theo prepared herself to shoot on coming walkers with Noah as Glenn and Nicholas tried to help Aiden, who was impaled with more than one metal pole, lifted off the floor vertically.

"Guys!" Theo yelled as walkers were incoming.

Using their little ammo, Noah and Theo took out most walkers coming towards them.

"Glenn!" Theo turned to see Nicholas run, quickly turning back to see they weren't going to be able to fight off all the walkers.

Glenn was talking to Aiden, lost in whatever the words were that he was saying.

Noah ran and grabbed Glenn and pulled him away.

"I'm sorry" Theo called out as she ran past, hearing the screams of the man being eaten alive.

The three soon caught up to Nicholas, who was running away still.

"Hey!" Theo ran after him, taking out a few of the walkers, running with the two others into a revolving door, trapping themselves in between walkers.

Nicholas was alone, whereas Theo, Glenn and Noah were stuck in one together, opposite Nicholas.

"What do we do!" Nicholas yelled.

"Don't move a minute!" Glenn yelled

Suddenly the music from the van was heard from outside.

They all looked over to see Eugene in the van, music at 100, attracting the walkers on one side and leaving them.

"Smash the glass right?" Theo thought

"Yeah, okay, hold the door we need to smash the glass, we will jump out and then you can get out" Glenn told Nicholas. He nodded as he prepared himself at the door.

Theo and Noah leaned against the door, making sure it didn't move.

"Okay" Glenn nodded as he took the other end of his gun and began to hit the glass.

"Wow wow!" Nicholas yelled as he began to slip under the movement of trying to smash the glass.

"Just hang on, it will smash!" Glenn panicked as he watched Nichlas try and move.

"No it wont" Nicholas panicked before he began to push against the door to try and get out, pushing the other three towards the walkers.

"Stop!" Theo yelled as she and Noah were getting close and close to the small group of walkers.

"Nicholas!" Glenn yelled but he kept pushing his way out the door.

Glenn grabbed Theo pulling her closer to him as they reached out to get Noah, but he had been grabbed by the leg, falling to the floor.

"Don't let go!" Noah begged, but as Nichlas left the revolving doors, it sent Theo and Glenn backwards, letting go of Noah.

"No!" Glenn and Theo yelled against the glass as Noah was taken.

They both fell to the floor as they watched yet another member of their group get taken from them.

Theo watched, wanting to look away but she couldn't, she was mortified and froze, she had never seen someone get eaten alive.
