CHAPTER SIX

      It was difficult to act like nothing had happened, when so much has clearly changed. No one was sure what it was, what made the atmosphere tense and awkward. The cast were still positive, goofy, and as outgoing as they ever were. But there was this questionable atmosphere that left some of the crew members confused.

      For example, Rosé spent much of her lunch break with either the girls or spend it with Jon as they go over the script once more. And for those who worked on the Captain America: Civil War film they were surprised to find the two best friends spending time without one another, something that was definitely odd to see.

      But no one spoke about it.

      No one.

      Well, that is until Rosé trip to Downey's small village.

      "Are you guys fighting again?" he asked as he watched Rosé pick at her fettucine alfredo, her fork jabbing at the shrimps on the sides. The actor sighed as he placed his glass of sparkling water down, his sunglasses removed from his face and placed beside his plate. "Roseanne, no attitude please. Do I have to tattle on you to your mother?"

      Rosé sighed and blew a strand of hair away from her face as she settled her fork down. She pouted at her father-like figure who took away her cell phone that sat next to her plate. "Kind of, not really? I don't even know," she exasperated dramatically as she set her elbow on the table and rested her head against her knuckles. "When he saw the article we kind of stopped talking for awhile."

      "But you and Daejung aren't really dating."

      "I know that."

      "Which is a really stupid move. I mean, yay for you for being so selfless and the whole helping people thing, I applaud you on that. But at the same time you're doing that annoying thing where you push aside your happiness for someone else's. It's kind of annoying at this point."

      Rosé rolled her eyes at Robert's teasing tone of voice. She sat up and scooted in as slouching made her back tired and weak. "Should I be the first one to talk to him? I've never done that before. It's usually him apologizing first and then me. Not to mention I don't really have anyone but you, or Sora, or Laura. I mean Noah's ignoring me again."

      "What is it this time? I swear, you guys are always fighting about something. Did he steal your slippers again? Did he steal Tom away from you again?"

      "No, it's actually serious," she shot back sassily. Robert chuckled at the slightly irritated expression on her face and waved for her to continue. Rosé's finger traced the rim of her glass, her eyes focused on the bubbles of the sparkling water. "Noah has his company and everything and from what Mum has been telling me things have been going great. He signed Sora, a few trainees ready to become KPOP idols in a few years, and those new Hollywood twins, Mint and Max."

      "The one from Stranger Things?"

      "Yeah. But anyways, when we were in Seoul we were discussing contracts and that type of bullshit. He told me to drop my contract with CJ E&M and join LACUNA. The thing is is that I can't, I'll have to pay a shit ton of money and dropping the company means dropping a lot of connections. It'll be another five years before I get the choice of resigning with them or not."

      "So your brother's mad that you're not joining his company."

      "Basically, yeah. He's incredibly selfish right now isn't he — "

      Robert held his palm out and stopped her from continuing or talking badly about her brother. No matter what he was fair when it came to the twins, there were no sides that he chose between Rosé and Noah. "Now, now, let's not resort to name calling or badmouthing, Rose. I taught you better than that.

      "Look at this from Noah's point of view. The kid is building this company from the ground up, he probably wants his best friend, his twin to support him on this — "

      "I do support him — "

      " — and wants her with him. He's scared, Rose."

      Was it possible that her big, intimidating brother was scared?

      Could that be it?

      Rosé was so focused on the Quileute pack on her TV screen that she didn't even realize the consistent knocking on her door. But luckily for the person on the other side of the door, Sora, whose room was next to Rosé's, heard the knocking and walked to greet the other person.

      The Cindy Moon actress was spending her time catching up on the Korean dramas she had started beforehand but never got the opportunity to finish. So she greeted the door with her ducky printed shorts, her Pikachu sweater, and her Korean face mask on assuming that it was either her boyfriend or Tom on the other side.

      It was not.

      Meaning Sora looked like an idiot.

      Okay back to what's really important here.

      Because standing in front of Rosé's door was none other than Daejung Choi in his full glory clad in a white tee shirt, ripped jeans, and his infamous black leather jacket on his back.

      "Sora, hi."

      "Oh my fucking god, Oppa."

Oh my fucking god indeed. Anyways, I just finished an update! Yay for me! I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile and I know many of you will scold me and say that it's okay and that I should take care of myself. And thank you guys for that.

So here's what's going on in my life. My Journalism class just sent out our first issue of the school newspaper to the publishers! It's been a few days of staying late at school, not getting enough sleep, and groggy days on my end.

Oh, and guess what: I made the team! Ahhh I'm so happy like you guys don't know how happy I am!
