Chapter 12

Nixon Hopkins. That's the name of my new target from my new client, Nailah. Medyo nahirapan lang akong kumuha ng information dito kay Nixon dahil hindi siya gano'n ka-active sa mga social media accounts niya. But I still manage to get some details lalo na sa mga ibinigay sa akin ni Nailah. I've asked for his class schedule so I would be able to see him and follow what he's up to lately.

Minsan binibigyan ko ng deadline ang sarili ko just to accomplish the task in a given time at para mas mapabilis pa ang pagkuha ko ng new clients ko. Mine-make sure ko rin naman na magiging patas ako sa lahat at gagawin ko ang best ko at hindi lang maging puchu-puchu ang trabahong ito. I'm exerting too much effort here. Imbis na magbabasa ako ng notes ko for the quiz, stock knowledge na lamang ang labanan. Mabuti na lang, I can do both worlds and I'm still thriving it. As of now, wala pa naman akong bagsak na subject and I hope I won't be dealing with one in the future.

I'm waiting outside of Nixon's room, trying to look for him. Katatapos lang din ng klase ko ngayon at isinakto ko lang ang ang pagtama ng schedule namin that's why I'm standing here on this hallway waiting for him. Nang makarinig na rin naman ako ng mga yabag ng paa at boses na papalabas mula sa kwarto, umakto na akong maglalakad and good thing, Nixon came out first and I had to bump him so my books would fell out of my hand dropped it on the ground.

"Oh, sorry!" he immediately apologized and helped me taking my books and handing it over to me. "I wasn't looking I'm afraid... I apologize," he said. May paghaplos pa ang kamay nito nang iabot sa akin ang libro ko. I know that kind of tactics and hindi siya makapupuntos sa akin.

I know that I shouldn't be interacting with my targets, but my strategy changed when I had to deal it with Blake. There are just time that I had to get close with them and just know some things from it. Kakaiba pa rin kasi 'yong close encounter so it would be the best thing to do it some time.

And yes, Nixon smells like a sweet strawberry perfume and I wonder who would be wearing that kind of perfume. I haven't had smelled that perfume a long time ago, but sure, she might just be around the campus and I need to figure this girl out and who is he meeting behind Nailah.

"That's alright... no problem. I wasn't looking either." Tipid na ngiti naman ang ibinato ko sa kanya.

"Oh... okay... cool! What's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Olyvia..."

"Freshman?" he guessed and I nodded. "Yeah, I thought so... I haven't seen you around before. Do you wanna grab some lunch some other time? Or just coffee if you'd like?"

Agad naman akong tumango sa kanya. "I would love that."

"Okay, do you have a phone number?"

"I have..."

"Can I get it so I can give you a call."

I gave him my spare phone number and I know at this point, it would work, but just like what I'm doing before, I'm not gonna go out with my targets so I'll just let wait for me and bust him out I guess. Nailah wants the girl and Nixon to be on the same place and I wouldn't like to be that girl to be put on that position

And to my surprise, I saw Blake and he turned on this hallway and so I had to walk away. I didn't even say a word to Nixon before I turned around and left 'cause I'm trying to avoid Blake and I hope hindi niya ako namukhaa and Nixon wouldn't feel weird about it dahil baka magtaka pa 'yon.

But then just when I was about to leave the building, he grabbed me by my arm and made me face him.

I glared at him while he showed smuggy expression. Doesn't even hold a reaction.

"Please let go of me," I ordered, muttering and trying not get anyone's attention. I'm not even sure if there are people around seeing us at this moment 'cause my eyes only shot at this monster.

"Do you have anything to do with this?" he asked, gritting his teeth.

Nagsalubong ang kilay ko sa tanong niya. "Ano namang kinalaman ko sa inyo? You're the one who puts me in this situation. Ako na nga itong lumalayo sa 'yo, ikaw pa itong lapit nang lapit sa akin. You're a cheater, Blake. Don't make yourself look good."

I jerked his hands off of me at dali-dali ko siyang tinalikuran at tumakbo palayo ng building na 'yon sa kung saan man ako dalhin ng paa ko. Hinihingal naman akong tumigil sa pagtakbo ko sa isang tabi at napaisip na lamang ako sa paghaharap naming dalawa ni Blake ngayon. Hindi ko alam kung anong klaseng trip ang gagawin niya sa akin. If he believes that I got to do with it, hindi siya nagkakamali ro'n, but if he's gonna come at me like he can get me, doon siya nagkakamali.

I can play with him and everything he can do, I can do it as well. Hindi ako magpapatalo. Hindi ko naman alam kung ano itong pumasok sa isip ko. But I feel like taking a risk out of it would be a big achievement for me. I just gotta finish my task with Nailah and I'm going back to break Blake all over again.

Humanda siya ro'n dahil hindi ako titigil. Maybe I can help Izzy more about this. I can do some revenge for her and he's not gonna expect it.
