Chapter 10

What happened with Blake yesterday just adds up to all the troubles I got into. I'm never expecting to put me on that situation again. Ano bang pumasok sa isip no'ng lalaking 'yon? Is he already done with Izzy kaya ngayon ako na ang target niya? Pagkaalis na pagkaalis ko sa secret hideout niya kahapon, dumaan talaga ako ng rest room para sabunin at hugasan ang labi ko.

Iba 'yong kaba sa dibdib ko. Iba 'yong dalang panganib ni Blake sa akin, but here and now, I'm going to end this drama. If Blake has an intention of cheating with me on his girlfriend, Izzy, kailangan kong ilayo ang sarili ko sa gulong 'to sa in the end, hindi ako ang masasangkot.

Today I've planned something new. Kung noon halos social media lamang ang ginagamit kong panghuli—minsan catfishing o kaya naman mahuhuli ko personally na nagchi-cheat ang target, though isang beses pa lang din naman nangyari 'yon and I think Blake would be the second time.

This may not be the best idea I had in mind but I know this would work. Nananalig lang ako na magiging pasado nga itong gagawin ko or else I have to think another way para lamang maresolbahan ko 'to without getting closer to Blake. No close encounter or whatever. Delikado kapag lumalapit sa kanya. Everything could go wrong because of that.

I have no classes today and good thing Blake have no any classes today. Itinama ko talaga 'yong araw na walang tatamang klase sa amin. Mabuti na lang din ay iyong taong sinabihan kong kikitain ko rin ngayong araw ay pumayag na makipagkita sa akin. Thanks to Zolene... but I don't know how she will react if she finds out that I'm setting her up with Blake today. Though I know that they don't know each other personally so I think Izzy will buy it at the end of the day. Cross fingers lang talaga ako ngayon.

Using Vanessa Bieche, good thing, I made Blake meet me where I told Zolene where we would be meeting today. Sa isang bagong bukas na coffee shop ilang metro lamang ang layo mula sa campus. Pinasabik ko pa si Zolene dahil gustong-gusto ko na makapunta ro'n coffee shop on the first day kaya naman ginawa ko na lang iyong way to bait Blake and catch him from cheating to his girlfriend.

Izzy already knew that a girl has been hovering around her boyfriend so if she just find out who that girl is, our agreement will at that point and we'll just end our communication at hindi na ako tatanggap pa ng request niya. Kahit pa mangulit siya sa akin, I would never do such thing again for her. Napaka-komplikado niya, gustong maging perfect.

Actually... I must say that at the first days that I'm spying her boyfriend, hindi naman gano'n kaloko. Mataas lang ang tingin sa sarili at sa tingin ko'y hindi naman talaga magloloko. Kaya nga sabik na sabik na rin akong mahuli because this is far by the most intrusive thing I've done. Hindi ko pa nga nabubuksan ang ibang message requests dahil priority ko 'to saka ako mag-oopen muli ng new slot and then I'll take it from. Kapag hindi ako sumabit sa gagawin kong 'to, probably Izzy will end it now and then I'll be paid like what she promised—double payment.

I made it to the area by quarter to four and I'm inside a pizza place just across the newly opened coffee shop. Nakaantabay lang din naman ako at hinihintay na dumating ang dalawa. I'm not sure kung sino ang mauuna sa kanilang dalawa pero si Zolene ang madalas kong makausap so bawat minuto sa nakalipas na dalawang oras ay magkausap kaming dalawa.

But just a minute before four, Blake came first and he just stood outside of the coffee shop, cooping his phone out of his jeans and send me a message. Hindi ko naman binuksan ang message niya sa akin.

I keep ignoring his message until Zolene arrived at the scene. Pinanood ko naman ito nang una pero hindi niya napansin si Blake sa tabi niya hangga't sa mapalingon muli siya sa direksyon nito at manlaki na lamang ang mata niya. She immediately sends me a message

Zolene: Via! Where are you? I just arrived at the coffee shop. And you won't believe it, nandito si Blake!!!

And I just had to reply with a lie.

Via: Zolene! I'm sorry! Huhu! May emergency! May LBM ako today. Kanina pang umaga 'to at feeling ko hindi ako makasisipot diyan ngayon! Huhu! Nakaaasar naman! Ako pa 'tong nagyaya, ako pa itong hindi nakapunta! Sorry, Zo! Maybe next time!

Nagreply pa ito sa akin na kung gusto ko ba raw na siya na lang ang pumunta sa dorm ko at dalhan ng kung anong pagkain na mabibili sa coffee shop, but I rejected her offer, but that I was grateful na naisip niya ako sa paraang iyon... it's just that, this is my chance to end my connection with Blake so I can move forward.

"Let's see what's going to happen next..."

And as I watched what's gonna be the deal between them, I wasn't wrong when Zolene took the first move of talking to Blake. Hinanda ko naman ang camera ng phone ko. Nagkausap naman silang dalawa na para bang nagkaiintindihan silang dalawa. Tumawa pa si Zolene na may kasamang hampas sa braso ni Blake then in the end, sabay silang pumasok sa loob ng coffee shop. Hindi ko alam kung anong napag-usapan nila, but what's happening is very juicy.

I keep watching them, taking pictures—a lot so I can choose what could be the best proof to give to Izzy. It took them an hour before they left the coffee shop and separated. When I checked Blake's account using my alter ego, I was already blocked and I'm not surprised to it. And Zolene didn't send me a message after that. Seems weird.

And later at night when I'm back at the dorm and preparing my evidences to Izzy, I send her the photos and what happened during that moment. Hindi man lang nagtagal ng isang oras, nagreply na kaagad si Izzy.

@IzzyFolkman: Oh my fucking gosh! I know this girl and you caught Blake now! Thank you for this, Vanessa. You're really such a bitch so you deserved to be paid. I can now let the stress go. Thank you for the efforts. Love lots!

And the next thing happened, she transferred 2000 dollars on my account and it was the most fulfilling thing I've ever done.
